What Attributes Do You Seek?
+ Alabastrine replied to + PhileasFogg's topic in Questions About Hiring
Average cock size is a point of debate and personal to everyone, but I consider "average" to be 5-6 inches long, with "well endowed" to be 7 inches or larger. Big cocks are REALLY fucking hot and beautiful to look at, but feeling like I'm (literally) being split in half is not my idea of a good time. 5-6 inches is more than enough to get the job done, and with a lot more pleasure than a really big cock. 7 is a sweet spot: the "fill you up" feeling without the downside of my vagina tearing at the seams. I might dare to venture at 8 inches, but delicate handling of my dainty lady bits would be required. -

"Clients like me" = has a vagina "Numbers game" = it's a numbers game for me with gay providers who offer SFP services. Bi and Str8 providers are more of a sure shot. -

Bi or "Straight", as it's rare for a gay provider to take clients like me and that's more of a number game thing. Disease free. 5'11 or taller Past clients have good things to say about their performance and personality Personality checks out when I chat with them, a little charm goes a long way Body range: fit, from "boy next door" to "muscle jock", I have a soft spot for the boy next door type Age range: 20 - 50, I do prefer younger but I have been known to find older men attractive if they have nice bodies and take excellent care of themselves Prefer a clean shaven face but it's not always a deal breaker Cock can't be too huge, I'd like to walk the next day. Thank god for average sized cocks. I'm on the fence about smoking, as long as they don't do hard drugs, I don't really give a shit about a little bit of recreational weed and acid -
Well shit, I feel like making myself a girl scout badge "Lover of Cock" to wear as a label now.

Regular providers reach clients out often?
+ Alabastrine replied to Dingdi's topic in Questions About Hiring
Ooof. I have been wondering about this one recently. I'm assuming I'm a "regular" to my provider at this point. Looks like he reaches out to check in once week, sometimes every other week if he's busy. It's flirtatious but light, almost never goes very deep ("how's your weekend going?"). Sometimes the conversations get a little steamy, but that's usually if we have a booking coming up, or I assume there's some gentle intent to see if I can be nudged into scheduling. It's awkward as a newbie trying to juggle the right amount of conversation, and I don't want to be the "needy" client so if I don't get responses for a while I don't take it personally. Naturally we're attracted to our providers. It feels great when he's generous with his attention in between bookings; as much as I'd like to feel special I'm trying to remind myself that this is all just business for him. -
ok now I'm getting confused... does this all come down to semantics and disagreement on what qualifies as "bisexual" vs straight? We've got: Sexual Attraction (As in "Yeah, I'd hit that...") Romantic Attraction (As in "Yeah I'd put a ring on that... and hit that...") Situational Horniness (As in JAIL) Situational Incentive (As in if Bill Gates offered you 100mil to suck his dick, but you're straight. What would you do it?) Which situations from 1-4 where sex with men are involved qualifies someone as straight, bi or gay? I see where @Gilfsonis coming from where paying a male escort of their own free will (no situational pressure or survival scenarios), is indicative of sexual attraction to men, and that alone seems counterfactual to the "straight" identity.

Kisses, snuggles. cuddles for me since I like the BFE. But as anything, best to communicate your desires to the provider beforehand so they can accommodate or let you know what they are/aren't willing to do.
-
I guess the answer is "it's complicated" would be the understatement of the century. I would imagine there's no way for a lot of "straight" people to know what they would do in a "jail" like situation unless they were in it. So is the question more along the lines "have you been in a situation where your sexual frustration was at a threshold high enough to overrule/override your innate sexual preferences in order to seek relief?" and does that make one bisexual or gay? I think it depends on what one's choices would be under normal every day life and not situations of extreme duress. There's a difference between someone being bisexual but leaning towards straight, vs. locked up in prison where you have very little privacy and are constantly deprived of the type of intimacy one generally prefers. Temporary adaptation under extreme stress doesn't seem like a fair scenario to gauge one's sexual orientation. That said, I would say that hiring an escort falls more under a 100% voluntary scenario where it does speak into orientation, with some leeway granted for those curious/exploratory person who might try things to see what sticks and what doesn't as they seek to find themselves. edit: to the notable exception list, I would argue it makes sense to include situations of financial duress or usual/rare opportunities for significant financial gain. So, for example, if Alice Walton walked up to me and offered me $500 million if I'd lick her pussy, would I say yes purely for the financial gain? That financial threshold differs from person to person and probably is not in itself an impartial measure of one's sexual orientation

Is it standard for a provider to cum?
+ Alabastrine replied to cumconnoiseur's topic in Questions About Hiring
I've not been hiring very long and have so far only seen one provider, but I don't feel like the experience is complete unless my provider cums as many times as possible. I like the illusion that the provider is enjoying themselves. -
Tattoos can be sexy. I think it's more about the body and the eggplant with Mike. His eggplant is... too big for me.

He’s been in prison. Is that a deal-killer for you?
+ Alabastrine replied to InterestingGuy's topic in Questions About Hiring
Not a deal breaker for me but it does depend on what they were arrested for and what the circumstances were. I've known my fair share of people who use recreational drugs and were unfortunately at the wrong place/wrong time for a cop shakedown. If it's a violent crime, grifting or theft they were sent to prison for then it's a red flag. -
What to do with a masseur besides anal f***?
+ Alabastrine replied to Callas's topic in Questions About Hiring
Iiinnnteresting.... Makes me wonder what the AI's training material was.... Or does the AI have some explaining to do? Has it been naughty? (joke, I know it's probably just better and web searching than me)... On a side note this has given me a lot of ideas for what to ask for from providers at future bookings. -
I do enjoy watching certain types of gay porn and think it's pretty hot. And I love this forum since it has some really GREAT porn recommendations. But on the hiring side, it's not actually what drives me to hire on RM specifically- Even though RM caters to and is intended for a gay male audience it's really the only place I can find reputable and safe providers that might accept female clients. Where I'm located the websites sites targeting a female client audience to advertise "straight" male escorts have fake listings filled with sexual predators, or "fake" fly-by-night guys looking to monetize their sex life but have no intention of providing any professional service. I think Cowboys for Angels is the one exception, but none of their providers are in my area. on RM even the "straight" providers will have taken male clients and gotten good reviews from them, which validates that they are indeed a "professional" escort. If some do porn professionally that just serves to bolster their reputation as an escort, that's a plus but it doesn't increase their sex appeal for me. I'm largely motivated to avoid "fake" escorts and sexual predators masquerading as "straight escorts", so RM is the site I hire from: it's where the professionals tend to be. I'm not saying the RM might not have it's scammers, but they're easier to spot and filter out by sticking to the ones who have decent reviews and their profiles contain information/photos/ links to their social media accounts with longevity to validate that they've been escorting a while.

Providers contacting clients. Is it welcome?
+ Alabastrine replied to + Jamie21's topic in Questions About Hiring
Discretion and privacy is a touchy issue, and some might not want to communicate unless it's necessary. I'm very sensitive to the discretion level, but am normally happy to chat with a provider I've booked over Signal instead of phone texts. I just assume any communication from them is either about establishing a business relationship, or fostering more business even if it's with warm, inviting/flirtatious chat. If they were to advertise what's "on the menu" updates to offerings/rates I'm the type that would always welcome communication and updates from providers. -
I give 2-4 days, then again I also try to follow best "first contact" etiquette given here to help my chances. If I don't get a response after 2 days I assume they're either not interested in my business, or there's some sort of communication hold up- but I tend to assume the former and move on. That's for the initial contact. If there's long stretches in between appointments, or a long pause I don't assume they're going to waste time chatting me up every day, for that a once-in-a-while check in (to keep in touch and maybe flirt a teeny bit) is cool with me. There tends to be more flirty communications leading up to a scheduled booking with lulls in between.

Grammar and spelling is overrated, the question is more about how good he is at massage and any other extras on the menu.
-
I reached out to him but decided not to hire, he seemed fine but there were things that gave me some pause. I'd recommend reaching out to clients that left him a review for their feedback, including the ones who didn't leave 5 stars.
-
Yes and I'd be one of them. I think you're still right-on that the majority of clients looking through rent.men are male, I was under the impression that most of the straight providers on RM were GFP and that there are a lot of male clients who enjoy both bi and straight providers. Similarly there are also some SFP gay male providers (some on this forum) but when I've asked gay providers on RM and MF if they take female clients, the answer I got was 'no' (though usually a very kind and respectful "no") 100% of the time, so I started filtering Bi providers and had better luck. Some of the Bi providers do get clients who are couples looking for a 3rd (or 4th, 5th and so on) but I'd guess it's not as often.

+ Alabastrine replied to samhexum's topic in What's Cooking
I make chicken paprikash all the time, provided you've got real Hungarian paprika in the pantry it's a sure-shot. You can still make it if you don't, it just won't have that black magic. -
I wonder how many of those OF accounts are escorts who don't really add content for paid views, but have a "token" OF account to bolster the legitimacy of their escorting work.

RM not accepting Visa anymore!? What the actual f$ck?
+ Alabastrine replied to BuffaloKyle's topic in The Lounge
I'm seriously thinking about it. I've got the professional chops. The problem is the legal side, setting up the proper shell companies and having the site live on a server in a privacy-friendly and escort friendly country. Payment processors are another choke point.. I don't have the financial wherewithal for a legal battle or for the business model to collapse when a payment processor or credit company decides they want to cave to the moral police. Trying to think of realistic/sustainable ways around it... there's always monero (fuck bitcoin, it's not anonymous) but it's a hassle to get outside of a p2p exchange... Not to mention crypto has trust issues and value flux. Also for those interested privacy.com has plans for making one-off or virtual cards to protect privacy. I'm not sure if you can choose what type of card these one-off cards can be (mastercard, visa, who knows) I haven't tried them myself, but plan to since I'd like to buy a premium RM account at least for a little while to add reviews and stuff. client here. I don't have a lot of contacts in the hobby world, but I use a burner phone with Signal installed on it. The phone was acquired with cash, and every once in a while I buy a refill for phone or data as needed (also, cash only for a little more anonymity). I don't use the phone unless I need to communicate with a provider. You can also install Signal on your laptop and communicate with the same Signal account that you have on your phone. The signal app can also do a "signal call", I personally haven't tested that feature yet, but it allows me to communicate with the provider without having to use the burner phone. In the case you don't use Signal, I'd assume a real phone - burner or not - would be more reliable than a google voice account... The only downside to use Signal on a burner phone is that you piss though data pretty quick if they send you photos or if you exchange cute little voice messages back and forth between the app. I ran out of data on the burner phone plan once because of that- not a huge deal, but if you're gonna use a lot of data on a burner phone, have a few refill cards purchased in advance so you can active them and add em to your phone account- whether that's tracfone or whatever..

I did my first overnight recently and am very happy. I'm guessing if you already like the provider, an overnight would be similar but "more" and also give them time/opportunity to do a few things that previous time-limiting bookings prevented. Then there's the cuddles in-between. Doesn't hurt to check what an "overnight" includes if that's relative to each provider.

Do providers talk to each other about clients?
+ Alabastrine replied to DMonDude's topic in Questions About Hiring
I just assume they do, reviews go both ways.
