  1. I would have left early to catch Jason Markus as well. He was such a hottie and hunk. One of my favorite escorts of all time. An a really sweet guy too. And talk about a preternatural amount of pre-cum. I've never seen anything like it since.

The thread reminded me of Dave Angelo, a dancer at the Gaiety at that time who danced in Montreal. He had the angel wings tattooed on his back. He was super hot in the backrooms in the stripper clubs in Montreal.

When you said “angel wings tattooed on his back”, a light went on! Totally HOT!

  2. There are a few bookstores on long island that weee good, including Show World. The managers at show world are super nice too. I like Squirt because it also gives bars where you can have fun like Eagle in Seattle and Cell Block in Chicago. Will be interesting to see what covid does to these venues.

I wonder if the Show World there is related to the famous Show World on 8th Ave. near Port Authority back in the day. Fond and dirty memories of that place! When I made my yearly trek to NY, I couldn't get there fast enough!

  3. US Customs and Border Patrol search thousands of phones and laptops every year of travelers entering the US, whether or not they are US citizens. See:

CBP Releases Updated Border Search of Electronic Device Directive and FY17 Statistics

    and

    EFF Article on Border Searches

If you refuse to unlock the device they can confiscate it with vague promises that it will be returned to you once their done with it. There are plenty of horror stories about US Citizens being detained for hours at the border and having their phones and laptops confiscated if they refuse to allow a search. They have tools that can unlock many devices depending on the model, version of the OS, and password strength.

Wow! Would nude adult photos be reason for concern?

  4. When I took Stan Musial in as a partner in my restaurant, I needed a partner about as much as I needed a new outboard motor for my automobile. Which gives you a rough idea of how fond I am of this smiling kid from Donora, Pennsylvania, who I consider without any disqualification to be the greatest guy and the greatest ballplayer of my career.

OMG! "Stan and Biggies" restaurant. I ate there several times as a kid growing up in St. Louis. One time when we were there, Stan stopped by our table to say hello. Fond memories. Since I moved to Chicago to start my career, I became a Cubs fan, but always found a soft place in my heart for the Cardinals.

  5. The menu is that bad, eh? Lots of places since the pandemic have done away with menus and started using QR codes that people can scan over their phones. Although as I am finishing up my thought typing this, we may not be talking about the same "menu." Now it got me more curious. ?

You are correct that the "menu" is not for food. LOL. It is for the amount of time you spend in the Lap Dance area.

  6.

    On ignorance

    “...doesn’t know shit from Shinola”

“...couldn’t find his own asshole without a bloodhound”

There were more, but often they involved made-up German-Yiddish nonsense or onomatopoeias.

I still use the shit/Shinola expression. Hmmm....do they still make Shinola?

  7. Steve Kornachi needs to try changing his clothes once in awhile. Wearing the same pants & shirt everyday when you have a platform like his is very unprofessional. Especially when the pants are a cheap pair of khakis.

I heard on the Today Show that he hasn't more than 5 hours of sleep in the last 4 days. He has been staying at the studio and I'm sure he isn't concerned about his outfit. LOL. Apparently he has become quite popular on Twitter as well.

  8. Do they still Allow Smoking? Cigarette ? I visit Ftl Lau. often, well before covid19 , but cant stand the smoke . South florida one of the few places left allowing it

Ya, still a smokers place- I don't indulge but it seems like every one else in Florida does!

That's too bad. When I spent last winter in Lauderdale, LeBoy didn't allow smoking inside, only out on the patio. Too bad the new owners reverted back to the old policy.

  9. Went last night with my FLL Ukrainian companion. We recognized some of the staff, but none of the dancers, bartender Chris told us that the building is slowly being remodeled, in phases. Center and outside bars have been renovated, next up are the restrooms. After that will be the stage and VIP rooms. Most of the crowd was outside, but we didn't stay long- too many unmasked patrons, too close for my comfort.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad that Chris is still bartending, and I hope Andy is too. Sorry to hear that there were many unmasked patrons.

That is pretty scary to me.
