I’ll keep that in mind, but I know how the area can be.

Oh yeah, well what @Shawn Monroe said def has some truth to it though, about keeping the doors on the inside. But there’s a misconception about doors outside motels, that aren’t necessarily true. Some have said to not see clients in such hotels, because they may be cops. Untrue. Also, up north, most hotels are doors inside...but doesn’t mean it’s not ratchet either lol. And then sometimes you never know what you’re going to get. But obviously, interior room hotels look less intimidating than exterior room hotels. However, the exterior ones are the easiest, least fuss ones...and I tend to switch between the two at random.

And that’s the reason why, even though me and my friends drove 130 miles to watch the White Sox, I turned right the fuck back around. Was not going to waste my time fooling with the flakes and fickle pickle MoFoes of Chicago

Why so some schedule escorts like a bus stop?
Mocha replied to Mocha's topic in Questions About Hiring
Well I hope you add the escort’s speeding ticket and/or attorney fees to the rate you’re paying. They might hit a pedestrian or a car with a pregnant woman while trying to “get to you quickly as they can”. When someone asks me that, I politely refer back to my ad that insures I require a minimum 1 to 2 hour notice. No dick or ass is an emergency. It can wait. There’s been time’s I’ve been 1 mile away from a clients hotel. They still had to wait an hour. Why? Because I was in the middle of something. I’m not going to make a friend take an Uber back home, so I can go do a trick, if I drove them someplace. If he wanted to meet NOW, he should have called earlier and asked to meet at the future time. But I wouldn’t be insulted. The way my ad now reads is “avoid missed connections”. It’s one thing when you have to make a quick maneuver and call someone last minute, it’s another thing when people are ignorant and don’t know any better. Or, they know better...but they prefer to last minute call an escort because out of fear/being flaked on, they rather contact whoever is available at the moment. There’s been many appointments that I could have done, had clients contacted me like a mere 30 minutes before. By the time they called, I had to make a decision to do 1 thing or another. I’ve missed more appointments that way, than from traveling somewhere that’s been planned ahead of time. So for the clients who are afraid to plan ahead because of being flaked on, keep that in mind. I’m finding 99% of the time when traveling, I’m simply not available right at the moment someone contacts me. Even when I was home, most times I didn’t like last minute stuff because I would get my mind ready for the gym, or a gardening project, or a date/hookup, and along comes John wanting to come over in 30 minutes. -

Yeah but 24/7 availability does not mean: give me 5 minutes notice. It just means the person is available throughout the day/night. 24/7 sounds great, but like I said...I’m not a store with 10 guys ready to serve. I’m 1 person, trying to answer messages and be here, there and everywhere else. That can’t happen if the person doesn’t have common sense to just give some notice -
Well...it makes up for the fact that 1 in 2 clients in 2018 never show. And pricey? Please. I think about the ball players out there that people pay thousands of dollars to simply watch dribble, swing at, throw and catch some balls. Many escorts have bodies like professional athletes, including me. Yet we’re licking, sucking and fucking for a measly $300 pittance. So who the FUCK are we to charge only $150-300 for full on sex. Shit...we as escorts should be charging $50,000 an hour. Non of these mother fuckers paying to go to Baseball or football games are getting laid, yet the players are making millions of dollars. So why the FUCK we ain’t getting paid that much? Because we don’t ask for it. When we start asking for $50,000 an hour, we’ll start getting $50,000 an hour. Btw, $50,000 is a metaphor...not a suggestion to start charging that much. Even though I believe...some of us should charge that much.

I'm glad another escort has come out and been real about the differing and newer challenges that have surfaced. Interestingly enough, your challenges are a bit different than my challenges (I don't have the option for clients to uber me, or FaceTime me) , but regardless...the answer is yes it has become increasingly difficult. Don't listen to other escorts who claim it's never like that for them. I've personally spoken to popular escorts who've experienced the same things that I've contended with and worse. One thing about America: no matter what you do (unless it's something niche and usually IT related), there's 50 million other people doing the same thing. America has become so ultra competitive, I think it factors in with the business. I personally don't touch markets like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles because it's too many escorts advertising. Specifically, many Black escorts. I went thru Chicago the other day, and the same client who contacted me in Phoenix and begged me to come over last year, didn't even respond to my second text while he was also visiting Chicago yesterday. He has like 150,000 black dicks to choose from in Chicago, why the FUCK would he wait two hours for me. If I lived in Australia, Germany, I know for a fact I'd be a rich black escort. Not starving artist mode like I am in the USA. I met 2 Australian guys in Colorado years ago, and they loved me. It's not as competive like here in America where every guy who wants Black guys have 100s of thousands of guys to choose from. To some, it seems like when these things happen, you're making too much of a fuss, because at face value...its considered just sex. And sex now can be found on any corner nowadays, so the fact that so many of us are making it at all, is nothing short of a miracle...considering 3/4 of the places to advertise business has been wiped out in the past 5 years. Personally, I will no longer advertise in more than 2 travel cities at a time. I know rentmen allows like 6, but I'm finding when I do that, too many people are tugging at me to come to this and that city. I try to schedule them all, but in reality...I can't always foresee how long I'll need to stay in a particular area. I was doing a Washington DC to Chicago trip over memorial weekend into this week. I almost skipped a city and missed a good client to reach a client in another city, and by the time I got to the other destination, the holiday was over and a couple of the ones who contacted prior to arrival, flaked. I'll tell you what's worked for me: auto templates for text. So when they want to send 1 word texts...I send back a big long text asking: name/age/preference/host or travel/website seen on. Gets them talking everytime. Also, if shit gets too rough and tough, don't be afraid to call the MoFoes out in your ad. Tell them, don't send 1 word texts. Don't call last minute. You will NOT have sex for drugs. Trust me, every few months I have to put out a ADVISORY in my ad re: the latest irritating bad behavior. Things start to improve. There's a verse I like to quote in my mind, whenever I feel things aren't falling in place : "ye have not, because ye ask not." So by all means, ask and you shall receive....whether that be thru texts or directly in your ad itself.

Makes sense. If You're traveling for work, things get tight...as was discussed a few weeks ago. And also, I understand not everyone can plan days or weeks in advance. But I really got to thinking, maybe I didn't emphasized ENOUGH about how I prefer clients to book. So last night, I just went ahead and immediately put in my ad in bold and in plain sight: no last minute appointments, count back 2 hours from the desired time of arrival...and make sure it's atleast that amount of time or more. I usually find 4 to 8 hours is ample time to make concessions for same day appointments. Hopefully that'll put an end to all the scrambling around like an egg when someone calls, and wants to meet now. I know some escorts (and even barbers) don't mind or even prefer last minute (aka walk-in) appointments, but people have to understand that everyone works differently. Even saying "available" on rentmen doesn't mean available NOW. It just means I'm available to schedule now. When you see an apartment that's "available now", that doesn't mean you can move in that same hour, right? Exactly. People assume available means NOW -

That's what I keep forgetting. They sprayed raid on Craigslist and backpage, but that didn't kill the roaches, they just crawled over to other sites. Ever since that's happened, business has increased overall, but it's gotten worse because all these f-ing bugs are bugging. Just straight up all across the board in every city I've gone to lately, just stupid MoFoes getting on my nerves. 1. they message me early in the morning trying to interrupt my sleep 2. They take up to much time with their bullshit messages 3. Then they flake and and don't fucking follow thru with shit when it's time It's like all the flakes from Craigslist are moving to other sites. I've just gone ahead and put note in my ad. I'm not sweet talking or freak talking or anything. I'm making it very plain and clear...because they can find my number so easily, but can't be bothered to read travel dates or call in advance. I'd advise others to follow that link, because the level of insanity is going to get worse if we don't hold MoFoes accountable for their bullshit. There's really no network out there right now to caution escorts about taking appointments with certain callers. -

Mocha replied to Mocha's topic in Questions About Hiring
The other thing that fucking pisses me off, when people call me...as we’re trying to set up a time, they holler about having stuff to do and can’t wait more than 30 minutes to meet. Well why the fuck did you call me then? That’s not my problem you have stuff to do. People act like they’re calling a tire store or appliance store or something. Dehumanizing. Just no kind of respect or common sense about shit. I’m not a fucking store. Call me as if you’re calling any other sort of private professional or setting up a date with a busy corporate professional. Those plans would have been made well in advance. And the other thing, everybody so scared and unwavering nowadays. You ask them any little question or ask them to do anything out of their comfort zone, they want to get all up the ass about shit. I had one guy in D.C. pay me $280 CANCELLATION FEE, because he decided to cancel simply because I wanted to know a little about what he was looking to get into...because he hadn’t told me that previously. Fortunantely we did reschedule the next day and had the most awesomest appointment I’ve had in a long time. But still...that caused me to temporarily go crazy for a couple of hours, and he almost landed a permanent place on my twitter flake list. And now a week later, 3 mother fuckers pulled that shit today, all for different reasons which were just trivial. I ask a guy to meet me at the hotel in 30 minutes because I’m driving and on my way there, he cancels. People have this unrealistic expectation that we’re just sitting somewhere doing nothing with ourselves but waiting for them. But then, when you actually do that, the mother fuckers don’t call. -
Why so some schedule escorts like a bus stop?
Mocha replied to Mocha's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yeah, but generally speaking it’s the client who has a bit more say in the timing of the situation. Both sides can flake, but more often than not..the escort has to try to magically fit such big things inside the clients tight frame of time (pun intended). I’m disappointed that these occurrences have to sort of overshadow the good ones who actually do give reasonable notice and time. But more and more and more, every other time or 2 that I get a client, it seems it’s always a race for time to get to them because they don’t want to wait or wait to ask for stuff last minute. And I can’t blame myself on these ones because in each case, I arrived to each location early in the day and stayed at least a full day. They want me to play bus stop, but get surprised when the bus takes OFF. Pulling a bus stop is basically like when a person who needs to get somewhere soon, just walks out onto the curb to wait for a bus, without checking to see the times the bus is scheduled to arrive. Or standing 100 feet from the bus stop, waving and expecting it to stop for them anyway. Then gets mad and talks about how long the bus is taking, or takes too long. -
How much clearer do I need to spell things out for people, to realize that contacting an hour before they want a session, is going to be mostly a LUCK maneuver. I just can’t stress it enough. Many of missed appointments aren’t due to being late or changing times, it’s just due to not allowing enough notice to arrange things to fit people with limited schedules. It doesn’t have to be two or three weeks notice, but just something like a day or 3 hours at least. Ask the average caller from rentmen to allow three hours, from the time they first call, and the appointment is usually a no go. The amount of missed connections and last minute requests for appointments are about to drive me to only offering $100 rub n tugs and getting off of rentmen, or withdrawing from do anymore travel out of town for appointments. Simply because, the amount of limited planning going on is requiring me to want to have several people a day in the chamber, to make up for the missed connects. Just today, in 12 hours...I’ve had 3 missed appointments. Not because I was late, or changed the time. Because people waited all day...then at the last minute want to book an appointment. I told someone yesterday, come tonight...because I’m checking out by noon tomorrow. What does he do? Texts me a 1130 am to meet at 12:30 pm. I extend my checkout until 1, he still doesn’t show up. Another instance, I waited around until 6 pm to decide if I was going to remain in a city I was stopping over in for the day. The ad has been up for 5 days. Today, I had no appointments scheduled. So figured, why not just get going to my next destination. As I’m leaving, guy calls me for a session. At that point, I could have turned around...had he waited an hour. Well he didn’t want to wait an hour, and he wanted ME to host. Well that’s too bad! You could have called me at any other time, and he does it when I’m 20 miles outside of town already. And then, as I’m on my way to the next destination, someone texts and wants to meet an hour prior to the time I arrive. No response when I said I’d be available to come at 8:45 instead of 7-730. Even while I was in D.C., despite the good couple appointments I got my last couple days there, it was all last minute. I didn’t mind because I was already in the city, but that was just luck. How do I make it any clearer to people, that just because my ad is up in an area, does not mean I’m always available AT THE SAME TIME as they are. It’s like I’m not even being given room to make things happen. I’ve tried putting these things in my ad, but either they don’t see it or the website crops it out. I know not every situation can be planned in advance. But I believe some people do it habitually with the last minute stuff
-
Lol...not trying to get in trouble here. I wasn’t necessarily calling B.S. on it, just saying it’s doable to spend less than $500, and even less than $100...in a D.C. hotel. They usually always have certain ones that are like $70-80 a night. However, I only stay in them when I need to (which is usually NEVER because I always get called to do OUTCALLS in DC except for my 1 regular married client who can’t ever host: but he pays well and gives me a reason to stay in the city instead of suburbia) simply because driving and parking in DC is a production. Plus those prices are just the room. It’s not hard to spend double that amount during the stay on food and parking. However, what @FTM Zachary Prince was saying, isn’t far from the truth. The day before I arrived to DC, I had to postpone because hotels actually did reach $1,000 a night. The next day the prices went down, then back up later in the week, then back down the following week. Only to go back up for Memorial Day weekend. This is the picture I took, the day I was scheduled to arrive: Fortunantely the next day, I found something in town on the same site, for much less. Btw...the whole time I was in DC, I only used PL once. I’ve learned to stay loyal with my 2 hotel brands, and those points and free nights come in handy.

Question: Do public holidays impact your hours
Mocha replied to + FrankR's topic in Questions About Hiring
Cute, but actually there was a touch of facetiousness in that post. But let me tell you something: it’s easier to speak about it, than to actually be in the midst of it. Btw, it’s not just shopping malls. It’s everything. I have been contending with one holiday after the next since Spring started, and each one just slows things up. What’s made it harder is, I don’t have a regular home base at the moment...so I’m always either traveling or planning to travel. Which means, it’s easy to get caught in the mix of the shit in the middle of a tour. Easter, Saint Patrick’s, Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day and now Memorial Day. This is what usually ends up happening: 1) Friday I spent 3 hours waiting for tires to be put on my car, because of course EVERYBODY wants to get their car worked on for the holiday. fortunately there was a movie theater next door. Unfortunately...I had to go back again yesterday. Well guess what? I had to wait another 2 hours. It would have been 4, but since I waited yesterday, I got priority. 2) trying to get a haircut anyplace that knows how to cut Black hair around any public holiday, usually involves sitting on your ass for hours...because of course, everybody else wants to get their haircut. 3) trying to schedule clients around holidays often doesn’t work because of course: I’ve had several messages throughout the day of people who couldn’t meet because of family visiting, or this and that event. 4) People drive like they have no sense around public holidays. Some bitch today almost caused a major accident right next to me, because he or she was trying to drive 60 mph in a 40 and squeeze between two other cars....IN WASHINGTON DC. Knowing damn well you can’t go very fast for long out there. 5) Men: ever try dating around public holidays? Shit never works. It’s almost not even worth making plans with them, because they’re not going to follow through. Just like the MoFo who stood me up twice, Thursday and Friday night. If I’m in the right city, I’ll have friends to rely on and not have to worry about that shit. Unfortunately, due to logistics (and thinking I had reliable people to hang with), I’ll be in areas that I don’t really know anyone. 6) Money: there’s always the pressure to spend, spend, spend. I spend enough money without the holidays. Why do I need another holiday to remind me, why it’s so hard to be able to save money? So yeah....I think I have a right to feel a certain way. It’s not high school and college where public holidays were something to look forward to. For me, it just creates an ominous dark cloud over me until they pass. And does anyone ever wonder why the weather usually always turns bad during public holidays? Because it’s a metaphor of what they stand for. The only holidays I feel get celebrated for their actual meaning are Arbor Day, Valentines Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas (when done properly, which isn’t always the case). All the rest are just excuses to be silly. -
Boy please, shut that shit up. I don’t even know you, and I could leave you in the dust on the track. Who you think you’re fooling?

Question: Do public holidays impact your hours
Mocha replied to + FrankR's topic in Questions About Hiring
Around this time last year, I had a decent tour followed by an overnight that started Sunday before Memorial Day. So I was flying high. This year, the week has been okay...but with being in WASHED UP, DC; many of the client types have run away from town, while the gay black pride comes to town. People in D.C. tend to go away on holidays, then the families and tourist come in. I’m sure there’s still some staying in town, but I know how this thing works...so ain’t gonna be no fool and get my hopes up. As for the question: I personally don’t care for holidays anymore. Spring seems to be bombarded with holidays. Living in a party city like Orlando, every holiday is like a category 5 hurricane. Too many people, too much traffic and waiting and lines everywhere. I’m no grinch, but I just don’t like what holidays stand for. We’re supposed to be reverencing dead people and independence, yet it always reverts to money, parties and guys acting stupid. And all it does is make Americans more flaky, stressed and avoidant...all of which we have more than enough of. I’m ready to leave the country. Every holiday. Sign me the FUCK up. -
Hmmmm...I hate to be nit picky and not agree with my friend @Shawn Monroe, but it’s one of those things that I would have to say is more of a personal preference, than a law. I’ve had clients come see me in everything from the econo lodge up to the entire family of Sheraton, Mariott and Hilton. I’ve only once had a client balk at me staying at a doors outside hotel. That was in Houston, and I doubt it was because of the hotel anyway. The thing is, that same rule ends up being applied to clients as well...which can be unfair. I’ve made as much money in an hour at motels as I’ve done in hotels. Some clients stay in motels due to pets, or saving money to hire escorts Also, if anyone remembers...the Boston murders that took place years ago, happened to a provider who was staying inside a doors in hotel. Granted, cameras helped catch the suspect, but those same cameras can also cause an escort to get spotted and get kicked out. I’ve also stayed at a doors in hotel (Phoenix, Arizona), and had my car broken into. I’ve never had my car messed with in a doors outside hotel. I usually park in front of my room and leave the curtains open. Personally, if it were up to me...I’d choose those hotels all the time. I hate walking miles thru hallways and elevators, especially when I’m already tired from traveling. But I realize they tend to be run of the mill. Also in the summer, flies get into doors out motels much easier (speaking of which, my worst fly infestation at motels happened to be in Oklahoma City of all places lol) I personally have to switch between upscale and low budget hotels for my comfort. Sometimes I get so tired of these posh business hotels where everyone is White, dressed suit and tie, and sitting around talking about work and politics. On weekends, all the families pack the nice hotels and get on my fucking nerves with their kids and shit. Sometimes I just want to park the car, and walk straight to my room without seeing anyone except my next client. And that usually involves getting a 1st floor room where I only walk 6 feet from the trunk of my car, to the front door of the room. The ONLY budget hotel chain I would not recommend, is Motel 6. Simply because their beds are like bunks, and even though their new style is cleaner, the rooms are often like children’s rooms and beds...and I’ve got a sensative back that hurts in the mornings on flimsy beds. Rodeway inn, America’s best Inn, and Econo Lodge seem to have a knack for not making budget motels FEEL like budget motels
-
Impeccable insight, as always. But gurl, we need to talk about these $500 a night rooms. The most I’ve spent on a D.C. hotel has been $100 before taxes...and at $100, Mariott and Hilton are usually attainable with 3rd party booking sites. And trust me, I’m one of those who brings my own toiletries and Lysol the entire room down. So any gross looking hotels will give me the creeps. But, even $50 budget hotels can be nice in some cities. According to journalists testing, they all have the same amount of germs, whether it’s a $500 hotel or a $50 one lol. But jokes aside, quality shouldn’t have to be sacrificed. However, even when 3rd party websites (which I can mention privately) offer $100 “mobile deals”, with tax and parking and generally logistics, it can add up significantly. Like at the Westin: $60 for parking and $30 for breakfast. All priced for government employees, who’s stay is being paid for. And like I said, pricing and availability changes everyday...to where I can hardly stay in any one hotel more than a day or 2. Right now, D.C. has the Gay Black Pride going on...and I’m fixing to get out of here tomorrow. I’m not wasting another dollar in D.C after tonight. I mean yeah it’s probably an exciting fun time, but it’s likely TOO MUCH going on. Not to mention, half of the locals go away when the event comes to town. Non of it is going to translate into business. I’m just going to take the sum I made and move on. I just don’t have time for silly games and bullshit. I don’t care what event is going on in town. If I have to deal with a bunch of silliness and game playing, it’s not worth me spending my money and time on.

Advertising Rates Going Up On Rentmen FOR ALL
Mocha replied to + Lance_Navarro's topic in Questions About Hiring
Thanks to @ special member of the forum, I won't have to lose sleep over my RentMen ad until I turn 31 this year... -
Lol, you're right but....I was trying to use pronouns to get my point across, and avoid pulling the "card" that starts with R, lol. Maryland is usually the least busiest part of the metro in terms of clients go. Virginia is a bit more happening of the two. By all means, still go if you want. I'm just speaking relatively. I remember my first time to Washington D.C. was magical. I felt all presidential, stayed at a high-rise Hyatt, and had clients back to back the whole trip. However, that was pre-Trump era. Now, everyone is being as obnoxious as him out here. Then again, it's probably been that way. And yeah, I'm trying to get this 23 year old boy to be my travel secretary, because traveling gets to be overwhelming to an extent. Plus, I've had multiple occasions where people have started shit with me, simply because I'm alone and they're a with another person, which in their mind equates to : more importance. I had to curse a bitch and her husband out on my first day in D.C. because of that. Had a situation like that couple years ago, some gay couple trying to usher me around at the hotel bar. Never again. I may be 1 person, but I let it be known, I am nobodies servant and won't be pushed around.
-
I like DC because it's fairly compact. Occasionally I'll get called outside of the loop, but for the most part...having a car, I can get around fairly quickly at night. Los Angeles is a mess. Day and night. I don't even get business there much, and with the fact it can take 3 hours to get to an appointment, I can't blame em.
-
Some people just don't understand, no matter how you explain it. But, sometimes it takes a deeper level of knowledge and understanding to get WHY some places don't work for everyone. So, I wouldn't pay it no mind. I can talk about Kansas City all day, because I used to go through there all the time...like I said, since 2010. One of my favorite clients was from there. However, the place itself is ultra conservative mentally. Plus, some areas perceive "us" differently than others. Omaha, Nebraska is not far from KC, and has a similar vibe. There's just an aura of intolerance that I can just feel. I feel like some cities, they're used to seeing "us" guys mopping floors and doing service industry work, so when you're asking for $200+ for "companionship", it just seems foreign concept to them. I've run into a handful of crap in KC that makes me not like going there, beyond clients. One bitch was trying to give me a lecture about having a Florida's license with a Colorado addres. Bitch, you work behind the counter at Wal-Mart, not the DMV. Plus it wasn't expired for another 4 years. It's like some cities like to purposely make people feel marginalized. And St. Louis isn't any better.
-
Idk, I don't think that's harsh at all, especially considering what I posted above. He just mentioned a couple places that he found to be not worth the hassles of visiting. No reason in trying to keep on going, when there's other cities that'll produce better results for that person. The first part of getting a loyal clientele is to actually meet them. In some cities, the meeting never takes place, thus building a loyal clientele becomes impossible. For example: I was in North Carolina the other week for a couple days. I had my main client, but then needed to wait around for a couple days before I started my next trip. Two clients inquired about an appointment, one even sending a photo...then the MoFoes tell me they decided to "make other plans" after I attempted to set up a time THEY requested. These aren't just cancellations, it's just MoFoes being MoFoes.
-
Well, well, well. Maybe I spoke too soon. I admit, I lied. I'm probably not going to give up D.C. that easily. Things turned around within the last 24 hours, and have already pulled in close to a Grand, And that's with only 3 clients. That's what D.C. is SUPPOSED to be like. People don't generally balk at rates here, and unlike places like Florida which can genuinely be a bonafide headache, D.C. Simply has too much potential to write off. However, I don't take back what I've said about Washington. Hotels can still fluctuate from available and reasonable, to exorbitantly expensive and scarce, without warning. And there has been an increase in flakes, which can also come without warning. I had a streak of flakes back in July 2016, and this trip was beginning to mimic it...but it pulled out okay. Even during that streak, I ended up having an overnight client on my last day. Honestly, the only reason I've even been able to bounce back and make a profit, is because I got here earlier than my government-employed friend and stayed later. Plus the free nights. Had I did what he did: flown in on Saturday, flown out on Wednesday...I'd of likely been going home in a deficit. That's why I find it hard to understand how many guys can fly into a city for say; 3 or 4 days and make a profit. I have been in D.C. area for a week, and I didn't meet my first new client until 5 days into the trip. It's all relative. I'm sure someone would disagree with my assessment of D.C., especially if they lived there. But often as a visiting escort, there's a limited time for a city to make an impression. And if there's back to back bullshit, the city is not going to perceived well. But since you asked, I can give a short list of places that...maybe I'm not "done" with (sometimes it's even necessary for me to regularly visit some of these areas), but would certainly proceed with my guard up...as it's likely I've lost money and sanity going there, on numerous times. Las Vegas: flakes/drunks/gamers Denver: barebackers/drugs/low pay Atlanta: rude/condescending Miami/Fort Lauderdale: flakes/drugs/suspects Los Angeles: gamers/flakes/rudes Palm Springs: flakes/bullshitters St. Louis/Kansas City: gamers/no one ever hosts/cancels Chicago: no shows/play games/expensive Nashville: expensive/annoying/usually dead Orlando: Superflakes/gamers/low pay/no pay Boston: aggressive clientele/heavy drug use Columbus/Indianapolis: random flakes/liars/gamers *Disclaimer, despite the above...I've met great clients in all of the above cities. So if anyone asks me to say something good about them, there you have it. BUT-However, it doesn't change the "average" outcome of the above. I wouldn't be nieve and ignore those experiences. As for the cities I can most times say good things about: San Francisco: (though on the latest trip, it's become similar to the issues of D.C.) Phoenix: (though it has the same tendencies of Los Angeles and Orlando) Washington D.C. Business epicenter. Good when it wants to be though The upper Midwest: lots of horny farm boys, but lower rates/occasional flakes North Carolina: Good Business center, but tends to share tendancies of Kansas City The mountain west: Little to no competition, but rates can be lower/clients sparse
