Wow. Totally bizarre. Sorry to hear this happened to you @Daniel84. I saw your post and recalled that we met about 9 months ago when I was visiting DC. And now realize I forgot to write up a review. 
So, not that anyone would have a doubt at this point but I can say from personal experience that Daniel is a witty, funny, sexy, and fun guy to meet up with, and with great massage skills.

Dude, you just answered your own question. A LOT of gay men fantasize about being with a “straight” man and a lot of gay men only seek out “straight” men. In my opinion, and in many cases, “straight” is nothing more than a marketing ploy to get business. I am old and way too cynical. That said, check the guy out, vet him well, hire, and have fun. (And, to be fair, a lot of men who enjoy and seek out sex with other men don’t identify as gay. I’m not telling you anything you don’t know.) 

A provider who l see regularly told me that so many guys have bad breath so while he will agree to kiss, if he shows up and their breath stinks then he won't kiss. Happens more than you think. I'm not sure if the guys don't care or are oblivious to it. Might be why

The more sessions I have with someone, the greater the trust and intimacy, both emotional and physical, for both of us.  With only one guy have I found myself thinking “I wish he would still let me do X like we used to” but he has also shared more about his personal life that I know he doesn’t share with everyone.  So I guess I’d have to say the sessions are usually better but different.

I wonder if the communications are from Froy or Paypal at all...the whole thing smells like a scam to me. While not this particular scenario, I periodically get scam notices from purported companies and vendors that are complete inventions. Just don't answer.

I have the opposite problem.  How to tell the provider I want to be dominant.  Whether I’m the top or the bottom, most of them insist on sitting on my dick or entering me while they’re on top.  I’m sure it’s a trust and control issue.  I wrestle with how to find a way to tell them “I want to fuck you in the ass.  Bend over or lie face down.”  I’m just too fucking polite.

His silence could be any number of things. Health issues, a death in the family, or something else serious might have forced him to put focusing on massage clients and related correspondence on the back burner.  If the hair loss, weight gain, and reduced hardness happened in the last year, he probably wouldn’t yet be aware of them anyway, would he?  You could always reach out again just to ask him if everything’s okay, without trying to set anything up.  If he ignores you, all you can do is move on and find someone else.

Same here with the same providers.  When you book over and over with someone, I have found they make sure you want to continue.
