I like the anticipation. If I’ve asked for a sensual treatment, the masseur is almost certainly going to touch parts of my body that are not usually addressed during a therapeutic massage. Whether it’s a casual caress of those parts or something more focused varies by masseur. When I go in with a plan to enjoy whatever is offered, the anticipation of what will happen next is itself enjoyable.

I usually look for some statement of extensive training in an MF or RMass ad but don’t get particularly concerned if they don’t have a license. I’ve had enough therapeutic massages from excellent masseurs/masseuses at health and wellness clinics to recognize when the person working on me doesn’t know what they’re doing. If the guy lied about his experience on MF or RMass, I’ll know very quickly. I won’t hire him again if a good massage is what I’m looking for.

Maybe the providers are misreading the clients’ satisfaction and assume they’re going to give bad reviews.

I agree with you. The search function here is not sophisticated enough to easily find previous threads on a a topic. I always try but rarely succeed. I do appreciate the longtime users on the site who point to previous discussions, however. (BTW, @Archangel, I like your new profile pic!)

The arguments with all parties talking over one another drove me crazy. I never warmed to Richie either. It’s hard to believe him as the front-facing staff in the restaurant.

I was disappointed in season 4 also. Not enough about the restaurant. I also thought they gave Tina short shrift with no story lines. There’s supposed to be a season 5. Hope it improves.

Part of the enjoyment of a massage for me is the warmth of human touch and responsiveness to my body’s signals by the person doing the massage, whether it’s therapeutic or something more. A robot with heated “hands” will never feel natural.

Another career field that has bitten the dust.

I alternate between therapeutic and erotic. it’s usually a couple months between each type but I’m in the process of increasing the frequency. This month, I have two erotic sessions planned and that may become my new norm.

I prefer that the perks of my repeated patronage be the continuation of special touches and attention from my provider. A stated “loyalty” discount is unnecessary.
