Do your research. Check his reviews, ask guys here on CoM to see what they know, find out whatever you can about him. Maybe you found a hot newbie who’s just entering the business and doesn’t know how to set his prices. And if you end up hiring him and it’s a good experience, share the details with the rest of us!

The first time I hired a masseur for a sensual massage I didn’t know the rules and let my hands explore whatever parts of his body were in reach. I apologized later on for being grabby and he said he would be insulted if clients *didn’t* fondle him. I didn’t take it as license to grope anyone else but it certainly put me at ease with that particular masseur.

I’m not sure country of origin has any relevance but if one is concerned they can carry three tape measures, all made in different countries, measure three times, and take the average. If the provider comes up short, arbitration would certainly be an option as would presenting the case to Judge Judy.

I like my boys to be smooth but am weary of the nicks and cuts from a razor. Any recommendations on an electric shaver that does the job well? Manscaped Lawnmower? Something else? I had a similar situation a few decades ago in the doorless showers of a health club. The guy in the stall opposite me was hard, jerking, and staring at me. I watched but didn’t engage. Like you, getting sexual in a locker room wasn’t something I was going to do.

However, unlike shopping and fine dining, this hobby can carry risks. For guys on the DL or in relationships that are not open, those risks could be devastating.
