EXACTLY. Most people in my circle are small-business operators or freelancers and they all have thoughtful/specific strategies for screening client (and potential client) calls during and beyond business hours. None put the burden on the client to intuit what's in/appropriate.

Also - lot of IT people are in IT partly because they are horrible dealing with people. throw in a tendency towards Aspergers and passion for "Rules" and they tend to get disproportionately upset about things being "wrong." The rules obsession is actually a useful trait for fixing problems with computers, but it tends to hamper their human interactions.

The current crop of providers definitely make it alot easier to weed 'em out than in years past. Pride in drug use and abuse is on the rise. :confused:

A person can provide basic stats if asked, and remain completely discrete/anonymous.

I did not say that stats have to do with privacy even though my post started out that way.
 
My post emphasized a possible vulnerable client furnishing a photo (and other personal identifying information) to an escort in connection with hiring from a male sex site.
 
Of course, if a client furnishes only his stats, there would probably not be a privacy issue. It is the inclusion of a photo that changes the formula.

I realize you are fairly new here, so you may not be aware that there is no way for the posters here to know who the others on the site are, or to take for granted that everyone who reads it is friendly and trustworthy, or will remain so. Most members are exactly as you describe them, but there have been participants here who were not so trustworthy, and at least one (who may be reading this post) who has become a hostile stalker of other members outside the site. Even the founder and the administrators of the site have never posted their photos or names online, showing sensible discretion.
