I'm apparently the resident wet blanket on threads like this. But based on what you wrote I wouldn't read anything into it beyond a friendly guy who appreciates his regular good tippers and knows how to keep them happy. He already had your number and didn't do anything with it. He knows you'd be interested. He would give you his if he wants more. Enjoy it for what it is. Your instincts are right that he's just doing his job, though likely in a genuinely warm and friendly way. The street interaction doesn't come across as anything other than a friendly greeting while seeing you out of your usual context.

Pure conjecture here, but chargebacks are the primary risk to a merchant using credit card processors. It’s a risk to the processor too, prone to certain “industries,” and as a result, they make restrictive rules to keep high risk businesses off the platform.
For the first time, I offered to assist a guy whose profile (for good reason) had expired.
So I went in to do the sponsorship and got a message that I needed to take a piece of paper and hand write that I’d authorized the charge, sign and date and then take a picture of this with my ID laid on top of it to validate the charge.
Thats unprecedented to me:
Theory 1: guys were adding client card numbers to renew/gift fees without the client knowing
Theory 2: clients were having buyers remorse in drunken fits of generosity 😅😇
In any event, I’ve never seen a request like this from a merchant…it’s the equivalent of a signature based transaction in a “non card present situation”…but I think it underscores the problem RM has finding a card processor

The griping on this forum over basic supply and demand economics never ceases to amaze me. No one owes you sex for a price only you think is fair. That's up to the person selling their body to decide. Take it or leave it and move on. It's not greed to set a price one can command on the market. Anything less is charity, which is one thing this business isn't.

Oh no! This topic again. He can charge whatever he thinks he’s worth. It’s entirely up to him and his definition of his value. You don’t have to pay it. You might want to hire him but if you don’t want to pay his rate too bad! You can’t afford him. Buy a cheaper guy and see how good he is.
If you think it’s an easy overpaid job why not set up yourself? See how easy it is. What price would you put on yourself for an hour of doing escort work (don’t forget to add in all the hidden costs - time spent trying to look good, being available 24/7, handling time wasters, advertising, paying for the benefits that employees get as part of their job, taking risks with your sexual health….). Now his rate doesn’t seem so unreasonable does it…

moonlight reacted to Milo Janus in Escort rates
No. There is no reason to raise your rates once you hit $300. It's just sex. Nothing more, nothing less. It literally costs the escort nothing but an hour or two of his time. How much is enough? You want $500, $1000/hr. When do we, clients, say enough is enough! When do we collectively stand up and say, "No! I'm not paying $400 or $500!

That was the minimum for years, meanwhile the price of living has gone up. Providers shouldn't raise the cost for their services like everywhere else?

Free enterprise at its purest. No regulations, rules, oversight, or competitive bidding! Charge what the market will bear. Supply and demand.
The forum has been wringing its hands with this topic since Hooboy days!

$300 is more than enough. It's just sex, not a marriage contract. Anything more is just greed.

They say they allow crypto but it's no longer accepted when you try to pay that way. I'm curious why it was removed.

they recently removed the Crypto payment option, which had been my preference... I tried the "Paysafecard" option, but it does not work if you're based in the US. really unfortunate how limited the payment options have become

moonlight reacted to maninsoma in What does PNP mean to you?
I equate PNP with drug use like meth or G. I've never associated the term with marijuana or alcohol use. I also associate its inclusion in an ad as an indication that the provider partakes, not just that he's open to clients who do, unless his ad has text that clearly spells that out.
A major reason for me to avoid providers who list PNP in their ads: People who use substances regularly are frequently less reliable in terms of keeping appointments.
