All of the bathhouses I've ever been to had strict cell phone rules; they don't want anyone's privacy violated.
Check their policy on smoking, alcohol, and marijuana.
In most bathhouses, the rules are posted at their check-in areas. Also, several staff members can answer questions.

Bring sandals and toiletries.

I have to agree with your opinion. I saw him several weeks ago, and it was probably my top worst experience. I didn't have to wait in the dentist's office. However, he did answer a phone call, and then make another phone call while giving the massage. Ultimately, the phone calls and subsequent conversation between me and him killed the mood, and I think as he was rather.... manic? (I'm not sure if manic is the right word, but we'll go with it) the massage, while it started good, went very very poorly after, and I called it short and left. I would also agree that his pictures are better than in reality.
