There doesn't seem to be much activity on any of the sites for St Louis.... either escorting or masseur. I'm primarily looking for a great massage... but if there are any hidden gems that anyone's experienced I would love to know. Thanks for any help.

Many years ago, I had a FB and we did a lot of wrestling and gut-punching. I really enjoyed it. I've never done it since though.

Hey guys.. newer to posting but I love to wrestle guys. I’m not if anyone else is into it. I wrestled this guy who was a ex gymnast. He had huge grapefruit biceps and we went at it.. he won by keeping me wrapped up like a pretzel. I’d try but was successful only one time pinning him on his back.. great time.. anyone else like to wrestle?

    I LOVE YOU, TRISTAN BALDWIN!
honestly, you are a shining star in this industry. between your work/life balance, publicly discussing your weak points as well as your strengths, not taking shit from people when it's flung your way, having a sense of humor - and a brain, and just being an all-around-nice guy... dude, I really do wish more 'scorts were like you.

and you, Big-n-Tall: good fukkin' job for keeping an eagle eye out, on youngboldone! you wrote, "Aren’t you the guy who made a post trying to pit @Dave and @tristanbaldwin against each other and not only caught flack from a lot of people on the board... even prompted both escorts to respond? TB went as far as to dispute your scheduling claims."

just finished my ny to chicago overland tour, and arrived back in bali last night. I had a great time with the ladies and gents who hired me along the way (some of you are readers here!). seriously, every single appointment was great... and that doesn't always happen for escorts within a 4 week period. anyway... rock on, TB and BnT - just wanted to commend you both!

This sums up so much. My life spun out of control when my partner died 20 years ago and I gained 80 pounds. I spent years mired in mindless eating until I took control back a little over 10 years ago. It took about a year of actual dieting and counting every calorie to get back to "normal," but I have kept it off through mindful eating and figuring out what works for me. That's going to be different things for different people.

    What works for me is:

    1. Nothing is off limits. The minute I tell myself I will never eat another french fry is the minute I will start obsessing about them. I have a cheat day each week where I don't go crazy but I will eat those damn french fries if that's what I've been craving. The rest of the week is mindful and always having a general idea about the amount of calories consumed.

    2. I developed a "good enough" philosophy when it comes to food. Fried chicken is delicious but a roasted chicken breast is good enough. A baked potato with all the fixings is delicious, but a baked potato with a little butter and a little sour cream and a lot of pepper is good enough. A big rich dessert is delicious, but a square of dark chocolate slowly melting in your mouth is good enough. Etc, etc.

    3. This is counter to what a lot of people suggest when dieting, and may be more appropriate in a maintenance phase, but I weigh myself every single day. I know my body and I know that my weight will fluctuate a couple pounds up or down, but I know that anything more than that means I am being too lax and I nip that in the bud. A couple days of being extra mindful about what I'm eating will get me back on point.

You've always been one of the good ones here... besides a support group (great idea) look into meditation and simple "conscious breathing" techniques to help with the inevitable stress. thanks for your ongoing contributions to this forum!

A minor update- I was exhausted due to the week and a half of cleaning out my house. When I was at the airport on Thursday, I was handling two bags so heavy I would have had trouble dealing with them even without the myasthenia. With the exhaustion and the heaviness of the bags, I was having trouble straightening up. I was walking bent over like jackknife. It was particularly difficult to hold my head upright and had been for the past week.

Also for about a week or so I was having big problems with my grip strength. As an example I had had to use two hands to pull out a knob on the washer because my fingers would just slip off and turning the knob on a door was incredibly difficult.

Well I had some incredible sleep Thursday night/Friday morning (didn’t get to bed until 2 AM). And on Friday I felt the best I had felt in about 10 days. Even better my grip strength feels as if it’s back to normal. So while I don’t want to make this thread a running commentary of my symptoms, but after having complained I did want to let y’all know that I do have good days.

Thank you again for all the nice comments and thoughts.

I wouldn't be shy about sending someone a PM in the manor described above. I think the complaints you may have seen recently were related to overly crude or graphic messages. I'm sure some guys love talking about every thrust and spurt that occurs, but you need to know your audience.

I think "massage guys" have it particularly difficult because if you are inquiring about someone what you really want to know is how far he will go. That requires a certain level of trust that you might not have right away with the person you were contacting.

I mean this sincerely... I can't imagine a more potentially noble profession than escorting... but it is filled with psychological potholes because it can attract at times emotionally damaged individuals who've been scarred by the sexual mores of western civilization's bigotry and homophobia. Unfortunately it can lead to some pretty intense "acting out" on the part of these individuals... when they are actually crying out for healing. I'm not sure how escorts avoid burnout... but bless you for being on the front lines!

A person who spends $450 million on a Leonardo that might not even be by Leonardo might just give a masseur a $3 million home or a Tesla. There are all kinds of nuts in this world. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

And that's why you are loved! I always give money to musicians on the street and as far as others, it just depends on how I feel. On my previous trip to DC, a presumably homeless woman helped me to figure out the Metro card machine, then asked if I could spare a dollar, the smallest bill I had was a $20, so I gave it to her. I especially find that if I'm traveling and doing well financially, than I want to share that blessing with others.

True, they can run their business any way they see fit, but the topic here is how to get repeat customers. So, no hard feelings either way, but it's about what gets us to come back. And, of course, repeat customers are extra valuable because they make income more secure and less variable, plus there is much less hassle and waste of time explaining and negotiating. Finally, repeat customers are likely to spread the good word.

Obviously, I like my massage to take approximately the time booked but I don't obsess over it if it turns out a little shorter. But I do get pissed off (quietly and to myself) if it's outrageously short. I usually go for 90-minute appointments, and have noticed that the guys I repeatedly go to are pretty good at timing. But my boy Jake rules wrt this. He is so nice, smart, so much fun, it's like hanging out with a close bud. He'll suggest jumping in the shower together, then usually asks me to sit on the edge of the bed while he gets behind and massages my neck. Priceless, a very nice wind down, a total opposite of that wham-bam-now-you-are-done-get-out approach. That is not just fair (I paid for 90 minutes, I should get 90 minutes) and respectful, it's smart on his part. Every time I hug him good bye I already look forward to the next time because the vibe is so good. I've had several other masseurs offer additional neck or other massage noticing that the time wasn't up. Always appreciated even if I usually turn it down and prefer a little chat as I put on my clothes.

Masseurs who schedule hourly appointments back to back are idiots in my books. That's sacrificing long term for the short term. It's greedy and myopic, and hardly entices anyone to come back, and that's just stupid form the business standpoint. My worse experience was with that Luka in Manhattan, who basically rushes you out as he scrambles to prepare the room for the next customer, so he basically wants you in and out of his building, not just his apartment, in less than an hour. It's like you are being processed on an assembly line, or how to spend $160 an hour and feel like crap in the end. Thank God he doesn't do 90-minute appointments, at least that saved me some money. Another dude in Chicago was doing outcalls and once he came to my place for an hour appointment. He was in and out of the door in like 50 minutes. Needless to say, I refused to see him again (yes, he texted and offered, who wouldn't want to make $150 in 50 minutes?) and then his ad disappeared. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who didn't like the approach.

This business is really good if you like doing it and are able to deal with people but it's NOT for everyone. If someone thinks it's quick and easy money requiring no skill or effort, it shows. And if it shows, you can't get a permanent customer base, so you are forced to travel and incur additional costs, hoping to find enough clients to put through your production line. Good luck with that!

One more thing I would add, and this is something that I realized gradually over time. I really like it when my masseur gets naked right away, when that kind of goes without saying. If I am going to lie there naked, let's be on a level playing field. Plus, if they don't get naked they tend to be warm, especially given that they work, while I may get really cold because I am naked and inactive. Them being naked gives them a better sense of the temperature in the room. I don't have automatic expectations about anything sensual, I like to leave that to the chemistry, but it seems that many don't do this for fear of setting wrong expectations, which I find unfortunate. But then that makes me appreciate even more those who do it plus are good masseurs.

All guys have their hot buttons and, damn, this is mine!! It's a tough quality to interview for when hiring which is why I probably shy away from hiring. So many factors to consider, some like it sloppy (if you're reading potential candidates, I don't), hygiene so important and, most of all, well-controlled "depth" with perfect lip connection once the tongue finds a comfortable resting place on the interior. OK, I've said enough, have to hit the "cold" shower!
