I use the paid version of Proton VPN, and it’s always on across all my devices. I prefer having my communications encrypted both ways at all times for security and privacy reasons. I’ve never had any issues with RM.
I always make sure to clearly communicate my preferences before a meeting, including what I like and dislike. For example, if I’m interested in something like kissing that isn't mentioned in the provider’s profile, I make a point to ask and confirm if it’s okay with them.
I’ve always used a burner number when dealing with providers. Why would I give someone I’ll only see once my real phone number? If they become a regular, then and only then do they get my actual number. The same goes for my address. The first meet is always an incall. I don’t want every provider I try to know where I live. Plus, seeing where and how they live gives me insight into whether I want to keep seeing them and if I want them to know where I live.
After my first vaccine dose, I contracted a mild case of COVID, which only made me feel unwell for a couple of days, but it delayed my second dose. If I got COVID again after that, it must have been asymptomatic.
A few providers have mentioned that they check Mr. Number to see if potential clients are flagged for violent behavior or scams. If they come across a report like "time waster" or something similar, they don't give it much weight. I suppose that makes sense.
I'm on PrEP and still use a condom. While some might argue that if both the client and provider are on PrEP, it should be safe, I would never rely on a provider's word when it comes to my health.
For some reason, none of the guys there have ever caught my interest, except for a couple who were also on RM. Honestly, I don't even visit that site anymore.
