I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. What you describe is serious, it sounds like stalking and harassment and you deserve to feel safe. Based on best practices for situations like this, here are some steps I would strongly recommend: 1. Cut off all contact. Block his phone number, email, social media, and any other channels. Don’t respond to messages or calls, even if they’re apologetic or manipulative. If he creates new accounts or uses unknown numbers, document them but do not engage. If you haven’t already, you may send a single clear message such as “Do not contact me again” (ideally via email so it’s traceable) and then stop responding entirely. 2. Document everything. Keep a detailed log of every incident, dates, times, screenshots, voicemails, emails, and any evidence that he knows your address or has compromising information. This documentation is vital if you need to involve law enforcement. 3. Make a safety plan. Since he knows where you live, be prepared in case of an unexpected visit. If he ever shows up or makes direct threats, call 911 immediately. Regarding your question about authorities in different counties. Yes, they can do more than just take a report, though it depends on the specifics. And yes, you can absolutely file a restraining order (also called a protective order or order of protection) against someone you've never lived with, as long as their behavior meets the criteria for stalking, harassment, or threats; living together isn't required.

Remember that VPN providers recycle the same IP addresses across many users. When one person engages in suspicious or unwanted behavior, that IP can get blacklisted, and everyone else on that VPN ends up paying the price. That’s likely why CrowdSec is blocking you. If you’re still in the Surfshark trial, I’d honestly recommend dropping it and going with what I consider a much better option: ProtonVPN. If switching providers isn’t something you want to do and you only care about accessing RM reviews, you could try using Chrome with the 1vpn.org extension. They have a free tier with an European server that should work for you.

In my opinion, Las Vegas has managed to price itself right out of being a fun destination. Between the endless resort fees, parking charges, and cocktails that cost as much as a car payment, it feels less like a vacation and more like a slow motion pickpocketing. At this point, the only gamble in Vegas is whether you’ll make it home without maxing out your credit card.

Payment processors for sites like OFF/JFF/RM
+ JamesB replied to White Daddy Top's topic in Questions About Hiring
Cryptocurrency payments can provide a higher level of privacy, but they aren’t fully anonymous by default. Most coins run on public blockchains where every transaction is visible, each tied to a wallet address (a pseudonymous ID). If you want extra privacy, you can fund your account through P2P transfers or a crypto ATM, that’s usually enough to stay off most curious eyes. For the average person, crypto still offers more privacy than traditional banking. And honestly, if the government is actively tracking your blockchain transactions, you probably have bigger concerns than just paying for a subscription to RM. -
Payment processors for sites like OFF/JFF/RM
+ JamesB replied to White Daddy Top's topic in Questions About Hiring
Paying for services with cryptocurrency is about as simple as doing a regular bank transfer. All you need to do is open a free account with a major exchange. You don’t even have to add money right away, just fund it when you’re ready to make a payment, or deposit a couple hundred bucks to start. If you’re worried about price swings, you can stick to stablecoins which stay pegged to the dollar. On top of that, many sites actually give you a discount for paying in crypto, which usually more than covers any small fees or commissions involved. -
How do you interpret "Ask Me" on RM?
+ JamesB replied to Constantine's topic in Questions About Hiring
From my experience, it usually means they’re willing to BB for an additional fee. As always, the best approach is clear communication, just ask them directly. -

Paying An Escort to Sleep and Exercise
+ JamesB replied to FaustOust's topic in Questions About Hiring
As with most situations, clear communication is the key. Ideally, both your expectations and his should have been discussed openly and agreed upon before the trip even began. That way, you both would have been on the same page and able to enjoy the experience without frustration. Since that didn’t happen this time, consider it a learning experience to keep in mind for the next provider you hire. Next time, talk through details in advance, what you’re looking for, what they’re offering, and any boundaries or preferences, so everything is clear and enjoyable for both sides. -
Perhaps buying your seafood from the same place you pick up your tires isn’t the best idea.

Do providers talk to each other about clients?
+ JamesB replied to DMonDude's topic in Questions About Hiring
You might be right, but that was just the impression I got. It’s also worth remembering that the UK and the US, Florida in my particular case, are very different markets with very different cultures. Hard to say for sure. -
Do providers talk to each other about clients?
+ JamesB replied to DMonDude's topic in Questions About Hiring
From what I’ve seen and been told, providers do warn each other about dangerous clients and time wasters. In my area, besides using Mr. Number, some (especially Latins) have a WhatsApp group where they only share information about problematic clients. As far as I know, they don’t exchange details on good clients, those they seem to keep to themselves, probably to avoid competition. -
Providers contacting clients. Is it welcome?
+ JamesB replied to + Jamie21's topic in Questions About Hiring
I don’t mind when providers reach out. I have a few providers who travel to my area a couple of times a year, and they always give me a heads-up before their trip, which I think works out great for both of us. I also get the occasional non-business text from regulars for birthdays, holidays, or just to stay in touch. As long as the messages aren’t too frequent, I see it as a thoughtful gesture. -
To each their own. Personally, I prefer a smooth look, both for myself and for the providers I hire. That doesn’t mean that a provider being hairy would be a deal breaker, but it would definitely place them lower on my hiring scale.
-
It simply means they’ve realized that long-term success depends on having regular clients. What amazes me is how many providers still haven’t figured this out. In most cases, they’re just trying to secure more business from you. I wouldn’t read anything more into it.

Pulse Memorial's rainbow crosswalk removed overnight in Fla
+ JamesB replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
The National Pulse Memorial and Museum was originally planned to open around 2022, but the project never came to completion. The onePULSE Foundation, which had raised nearly $20 million, dissolved in 2023 amid criticism over high executive salaries and a lack of transparency. That same year, the City of Orlando purchased the Pulse site and created a new committee to guide the memorial’s future. The nightclub still stands for now but is slated for demolition, with a new memorial expected to open in 2027. -
motive for a bargain basement donation
+ JamesB replied to viewing ownly's topic in Questions About Hiring
On the couple of occasions I’ve hired someone under a so-called ‘special offer,’ the experience has always turned into an upsell from the very beginning. I’ve learned my lesson. -
Any chance you could elaborate? Totally fine to DM me if that’s easier.

Is working as an escort very risky?
+ JamesB replied to charmasianman's topic in Questions About Hiring
I’m sure facial recognition played a role in this. In recent years, law enforcement agencies have been relying more heavily on technologies like Clearview AI to identify and locate individuals. These tools give law enforcement the ability to scan massive databases of images pulled from across the internet and quickly generate potential matches. While the practice has raised significant debates around privacy and accuracy, there’s no denying that facial recognition has become an increasingly common part of modern policing. -
Provider Proselytizing To Clients
+ JamesB replied to Heart It Deep's topic in Questions About Hiring
Ah yes, the sacred art of having the last word on the internet, the true pinnacle of human achievement. Because as we all know, the person who types the final comment in a thread automatically wins eternal glory, instant credibility, and possibly even a Nobel Prize in Keyboard Warrior Studies. -
While I’m clear about what I want and what I do and don’t like, I always make sure to keep it classy.

Grocery Shopping II: Self check out, like or loath?
+ JamesB replied to ICTJOCK's topic in The Lounge
My local Walmart did away with all its self-checkout lanes a couple of months ago. Target, Publix, and CVS still have them, and I do like the convenience, especially for those quick trips when I’m only grabbing a handful of items. -
*Does ANYONE look like their pics ?
+ JamesB replied to Chancealot's topic in Questions About Hiring
From my experience, I’ve encountered everything from providers who look exactly like their photos to those using someone else’s pictures entirely. That said, in most cases, they look more or less as advertised. Naturally, a provider will select their most flattering shots, and with the abundance of filters and photo editing tools available today, it’s easier than ever to enhance images. Some providers keep their photos updated, while others leave the same ones up for years. As I’ve mentioned before, I simply assume that every provider is a bit older, shorter, and heavier than their ad suggests, and that the photos are slightly older and retouched. Approaching it with this mindset helps avoid a lot of disappointment.
