I couldn’t disagree more.  I would venture to say that a lot of people on these forums are not millionaires, or even multi-millionaires as I presume yourself to be.  We can’t afford to take escorts on mutli-thousand dollar shopping sprees after the session is over, or give them lavish gifts, or pay $3,000 for an overnight.  I know an escort this happens to every now and then by rich older men with money to burn, so to speak.  “Want that Rolex?” “Sure!”, replies my escort friend.  “Want some new clothes?”  “Why not?” replies my friend.  If money was no object, I’d do the same.

6 hours is a BIG jump for only $500 (going from 6 hours to up to 12 hours. So I think he was actually being more than fair! Let’s do the math. If you agreed to 12 hours with Jacob for $2,000 that would equate to ~$166 per hour. 

He was simply giving you options and clarifying, which is important in this industry. Would you prefer if he simply responded “$2,000 for an overnight” without detailing the amount of time you two would spend together? An overnight could be 6 hours or 12 hours or more or less. 

Let’s do better not to complain or name call and assume this and that when a provider gives excellent service and provides detailed communication of exactly what to expect. 

Since I started hiring nearly twenty years ago, my overnights have always been arriving early enough to have a nice dinner, have a little bit of fun, sleep for a minimum of six hours, wake up to a bit more cuddling and fun, and possibly breakfast if they want it, which is about a 12-14 hour span.  What I’ve found out over these past few years that overnights to more and more escorts are 6-8 hours of all night sex and possibly drugs with no sleep.  I confirmed this with a recent hire.

I have another regular out of San Diego I buy tickets to come up on the Surfliner Train to Orange County.  The latest train leaves there at 3:58 pm, and gets into Anaheim around 6.  I take him to a nice dinner, and we come back to my place for some fun.  We sleep probably close to eight hours, and wake up to cuddling and more fun.  We usually go to breakfast, and he leaves back on the 10:30 am train.  That’s roughly 16 hours I see him.  He asks for $1,300, and he considers that an overnight with me.  He doesn’t “nickel and dime” me with the train times (by not saying something like, “Oh, my normal overnight is 12 hours, but I’m staying with you 16, so you owe me XX more…”).

I cut ties with my toxic family and my toxic self (my old thinking, my old behavior). I cut ties with toxic friends and toxic clients. I grieved the losses (I cried every day for five years), and then I moved on with my life. For all of this uncomfortable work, I am happy and free. I am satisfied and fulfilled in life. And I am now capable of loving and receiving love, which I do in spades all day long. I am living my best life now, and I am proud of myself for doing so.

How do you look back on your time in the industry?

TC: I look back at my experience with great fondness and appreciation. I am proud of my work and the contributions I have made to the industry. I am enjoying being Tom Chase.  

The ’90s and early 2000s, (when you were one of the biggest stars of the industry!) are widely thought of as The Golden Age of Gay Porn. Do you agree and what do you think made that period so special?

TC: I do agree, because of the timing and convergence of two things: the advances in video technology and the athletic quality of the models. By the 1990s, both had reached their zeniths. The combination was art.

Any fellow stars of that time you consider favorites? Wish you had worked with? Still in touch with?

TC: My favorite co-star is Mike Branson, hands down. Our chemistry was real, and it was passionate. We liked each other a lot, and we respected each other. We had a good brotherhood. Unfortunately, we are not in touch. After we both completed our contracts, we went our separate ways in life.

I do stay in touch with most of my co-stars from my day. We are a family.

What do you think was your best scene and why?
