The vibe is very relaxed and convivial. 
The guests wear clothes, the dancers do not.
You can stand or sit at cocktail tables or on any of the many couches, chairs or benches arranged around the open space. 
There is a bar, where alcohol is served. 
There are no official shows (ie there is no stage and nobody's dancing on a box). Instead, the dancers mingle with the crowd and, when things click, the dancers guide the customer to an area where the lapdances happen (separated from the main room by a floor-to-ceiling privacy curtain). The main space is comfortably lit, while the dance space is appropriately dim. If you want to be able to close the door, there is an option that adds additional privacy, for an additional (not insubstantial fee).

As for sex, well -- things happen. But it's not on the official menu. 

I personally think it's one of the best entertainment investments in town.

In my experience, at maybe a half dozen of Adonis's NYC nude party venues, the configuration has been basically the same: lap-dances in a shared curtained space, though often with the option of private rooms (for an additional set of up-charges). FWIW, the current configuration is actually less cramped than some previous venues and this weekend was the first time I hit up against the lap-dance space in the current venue being "full" (which happened routinely at some previous venues which had fewer couches). At the current venue, the private spaces are actually quite private (and not just behind a different curtain).
 

The roomy common area in the new venue provides lots of comfortable seating with great views of the very friendly 25+ gents strutting to and fro in all their glory. I find this spectacle itself to often be worth the price of admission all on its own. And sometimes if the fates smile... or if @Coolwave35's there... some actual shenanigans get to going in the common area for all to enjoy. 

And, yes, I'll be there on Saturday...

Adonis Lounge hosts weekly NYC shows at Evolve on Wed, Fri & Sat; Nude parties are the last Saturday of the month at a private location disclosed only to those purchasing advance tickets. (There are also regular events in Los Angeles, but I don't know those details well enough to share them off the top of my head.)

They are doing it for two reasons: stopping sex trafficking (RM seems to be an unlikely source, IMO) and stopping people from working in the country while entering on a tourist visa. While I think there are better and more important uses of DHS's and IBP's time and resources, I do not believe it has anything to do with homophobia.  We don't know whether female sex workers are also being detained. I'm going to guess they are.

I typically start a session by saying the number of songs I'd like to go for... can we touch the dancers? and how far can we go? : if it's following mutually agreed upon terms (ie a lap-dance), some touching is presumed but any/all limits ("how far can we go?") should be clearly communicated/respected... there are also special "champagne rooms" available should you and your gent both be interested in going a particular distance. any recommendations / other tips are welcome! : I'll leave it to others to offer their helpful hints but, for me, it's really about having friendly fun & tipping your dancers generously...

For regulars you are always better off adding value vs. subtracting price.
Make the session longer or go out of your way to do something more special or unique for that client. An escort that I used to see started wearing a harness out of the blue which was a real turn on.
