The Amazing Race has been won by gay couples twice. Probably more. 

In his defense, not everyone who acts "really gay" is actually a homosexual. In this case, I guess they hit the nail on the head...but I've known many men over the years who *pinged* my gaydar but who chose to LIVE as a heterosexual man. 
As far as WHY someone like this feels obligated to share his lifestyle with the general public is beyond me. I miss the days when everyone (mostly) minded their own business and looked the other way. Why haven't we progressed as a society to the point where your sexuality is a NON issue ? WHY does everyone seem to be SO bent on sharing their pronouns and offering up admissions of taking it up the ass ? 

We're not talking about Jeffrey Epstein and all those wealthy pedophiles. I'd say mission accomplished.

The Last Black Man in San Francisco is a semi autobiographical story.  The film was created by friends that met during their youth.
When I saw it was on Cinemax tonight I was moved to watch.  Glad I did.
Reviews were all over the map.  One review gave a 100.  So I'm not the only one that loved it.  A beautiful, poignant film.
Streaming on Cinemax and on various platforms.

I really enjoyed Looking but wasn't a fan of this one. It's just not how I experience grief and it came across to me as more stylized than authentic. But to each his own! And happy to support an earnest effort from Andrew Haigh (and my local art theater!) anyway.

He came up on my radar back in 2004 - with the movie Chasing Liberty.  A romcom - but he's got some great scenes in boxer briefs.
Am actually enjoying "Dept Q".  The beard is nice - but the sprinkling of grey in his hair, looks good on him.

I don't understand why "croaked" isn't on the acceptable list. 

2009's A Prophet (very good) made him a star.
