That's what I was thinking. He's probably an excellent masseur, and probably provides an experience that I will remember longer than that of most other masseurs. We willingly pay $150/hour, so why not just skip another massage one week, and pay $250 for Jay Anthony? That would probably be a wise decision.

Who walks in the aisles of a supermarket without a shirt? I wonder where that was taken?

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking! I happen to like role playing, and there aren't many masseurs out there who do it, much less are good at it. Oliver looks like a model; perhaps that's his day job? I wish I could hear from someone in The Spa before I take the plunge.

Yes, I saw him in Feb. 2017, and again in Feb 2018 on his visits to NY, in his hotel room. I guess I liked him well enough the first time, as I saw him again, but I was very disappointed, and would not repeat.
He really is a "tush kneader," as this is NOT a massage at all, but focuses on the posterior area between the knees and hips. I don't remember what, if anything, he did on my front.
The massage is done in a very dark room, dark even during the day, on the bed. He is a pleasant guy, rather portly, hairy, and envelops you constantly during the massage.
I suppose this negative review might seem odd to you, as you will say, "Well, why did you see him a second time, if the massage was the same?" I don't know; perhaps I enjoyed the unusual nature of the massage the first time, or perhaps I was just turned on that day.
    Not recommended.

Funny that you should mention his movie. I saw him more than ten years ago, in his "fireside" apartment in NYC, and I seem to recall that he was talking about his "movie." This was long before Amazon Prime, and even before Amazon, I think.
But if a guy opened the door wearing only a G-string, I'd be encouraged!
When he was lying on the bed, and "ordered" you to sit down, was he at least naked?

He may be telling the truth; at $100, there was probably a demand for his services, so he put 2 and 2 together, and raised his prices. That's what we call free market capitalism! As for not responding, that's what I call poor marketing.

Bosgam, I haven't been to Shangrila in a few months, but if Jerry still works there (Friday and Saturday, I think), I recommend him highly. He's Chinese, excellent English, slight build, but gives a great massage AND a pampering table shower.

When I seek info of a graphic nature, I don't ask here, but send a PM. I've also received PMs asking about masseurs I've mentioned here in The Spa. I wouldn't be concerned if I were you; in fact, I think the sender is being cautious and considerate. I don't mind telling someone in a PM that "X is eager to fuck me at XX spa," but I wouldn't tell everyone who's reading this. Nor would I want the management of the spa to read it, either.

I got a massage from Pan years ago, when he was visiting NY, and I still remember that fantastic body.
I bet he's still in great shape!

For one thing, it can be cheaper, but not always, if you figure in a good tip.
Also, you may really like a spa masseur, and that may the only way to see him. I have asked spa masseurs if I could see them privately, in my home. I've been seeing one, who can do things he can't do in the spa. Another kept saying that he would come to my apartment, and gave me his email address (which really was his email address), but he never was willing to commit to seeing me at home. I've continued to see him at the spa where he works.
Last: I'm not a big fan of table showers, but if I were, I couldn't get one at home. I can't shower with my spa masseur after the massage in the spa, but we can shower together at my apartment, which we do.

I have never been to Pasha, but I have seen highly favorable comments again and again and again on this site. A friend from SF always gets a massage from Pasha when he's in NY. Sounds to me like you will be very pleased.

Glad you had a good experience. Exactly where is he located? Does he use a table? A bed? Floor mat?
I assume this was not erotic, with a happy ending? (That's OK with me, but I like to know in advance.)

I don't think that anyone is comparing Kenzo to the attack on Pearl Harbor! As Looking Around pointed out, infamous does not mean famous. The word has a decidedly negative connotation.

I had said that I might try Ryan, and never posted about him again. I've seen him here three times. (He never referred to 'pin the donkey,' but I assure you that his massage is NOT strictly therapeutic. He's a nice guy, very talkative (a bit too much at times), and does not give a massage that you would expect from an LMT. As far as I'm concerned, that's a plus. He looks exactly like his pictures, does not speak in the 'broken English' I mentioned before, and is certainly more than 34, but I don't care. (If you consider that dishonest, well, that's your concern, but not mine.)
Since I've seen him three times, I obviously like what he does. As always, YMMV.
