I sent him a message on a Monday, asking him if he was available around 5pm Tuesday. He replied a few hours later 'hey'. I answered back immediately 'hey!' He went silent and then a few hours later messaged and said he wouldn't be available at 5pm the next day. bummer, but oh well not the end of the world - I will just reach out and ask if he is available next time I am in town. But then on Wednesday he messages me "lol." I was like 'huh?' I asked if you were available and you said no. I sent him a screenshot because I thought maybe he got me confused with someone else. he was like 'yeah well good luck! people get busy. you are wild". huh ???????? I was in town for ONE night, he was busy. Not quite sure why he wanted to message me that. I think I dodged a bullet there for sure! thank god he was busy when I wanted to see him. No idea why he thought it was cool to harass me when he was not available but you can guarantee I won't be reaching out to him again when I am in town next like I had planned too.

If anyone has a recommendation of someone that looks like this guy but in NYC please let me know. He is 100% my type.

normally I would be VERY skeptical of profiles like this, a I am sure the photo he is using is old, but he lists his age as 38 so maybe there is a nugget of truth here. Just because someone asks for a deposit- doesn't mean they are a scammer. If he has done porn and has a following - he is probably contacted a lot by people and he needs verification that they are genuine. I would change this post to ask for verification of his stage name before calling someone who may be legitimate a scammer.

Mine was hiring a guy who once I was inside his apartment realized he was high on drugs, waving his limp dick around babbling incoherently. How occasional? I suspect that what you consider to be occasional maybe considerably more than what he may. If you are texting/communications about an upcoming appointment - he may have been indulging you in order to secure the booking. Once the appointment is over, there is no need for him to reply anymore? Even if it was a great trip, his job is over. I keep my communications with providers to organizing meetings - and use our time together for everything else. If you are using communication as a way of dangling a vacation/booking in front of them -this wouldn't be a good thing to do unless you are compensating them for it also.

I can see how this would be frustrating. It appears you need to have some guardrails up to protect not only your time, but also your mental health from people who are jerking you around so much - and I suspect some are doing this to you for pleasure. It must be tough especially when you are laying down money for hotels etc relying on people who are giving you their word only. However, Too many guardrails and you scare off legitimate business. It's a ting yang balance and you seem to be struggling with it. Have you considered taking time off from this role and pursuing something that would give you more fulfillment? it seems like a rest might give you time to recalibrate.

I might be going to Tokyo for a work trip and was curious to see what is on offer while I am there.

I have messaged them about this and they are no longer supporting the rentmen.eu page, only the rent.men one. I suspect this is to FORCE people to use the new site, as I imagine most of us prefer the older version.
