  1. Cleaning people really are fairly inexpensive, it would seem like a worthwhile investment for an escort to have someone come in and clean for them if they aren't good at it.
  2. Unclear. You might have been able to buy options that would protect the downside while still allowing you to keep more of the upside, but without seeing what the quote was, who can say.
  3. If those are really all pics of the same guy, they are exhibit A in my "Hipster beards are making hot guys ugly" argument.
  4. Yes, there are definitely still 20s-only ones, didn't intend to suggest they all give either 50s or 100s, but I see now my post reads that way. And the one I go to that gives 5s and singles (which is in a branch that was recently built from the ground up so it has their absolutely latest technology) STILL insists on multiples of 20.
  5. Bank of America gives 50s at some and 100s at others. Some give you 5s and 1s as well. But a few years ago it was 20s and/or 50s with no way to choose. I would take out $100 for errands and always get two $50s. But if I took out $800 because I was going to the casino, I'd get 40 $20s. THAT was a pain in the ass.
  6. Were you looking for Christmas Eve/Day or NYE/Day? The doubling could have simply been because of the date.
  7. Neither of them is politically pure. Lyft was partially funded or founded by Vichy Gay Peter Thiel.
  8. Almost any new guy Tim and Matt get is new to the business altogether, and it seems they get a lot of these guys by chatting them up at the gym. So I wouldn't expect most of the brand new guys to be all that into escorting if at all. But someone who sticks around for more than a few months is likely to be a little more willing to partake in more than a lap dance.
  9. Who cancelled, you or him? And if you, how much notice did you give?
  10. I would not bother telling him you are turned off by the negotiating. That's just inviting further discussion/bad feelings and you may in the future if he starts advertising a rate that is acceptable to you wish to give him a try.
  11. You could just thank him for the offer and say you had already made other arrangements if you don't want to accept it.
  12. 5. He had a last-minute cancellation and now has more free time. Basically the reverse of Uber's surge pricing.
  13. I saw the ventriloquist in an off-Broadway show he did in the early 2000s talking about his career. It was called "My Two and Only" if I recall correctly. He noted that the writers of Soap clearly knew nothing about ventriloquism because they named the dummy "Bob" and the "B" sound is the only one you can't make without moving your lips, so ventriloquists avoid it.
  14. I'd guess about half of them are available outside the club, the other half just stick to the lapdances as that's pretty good money without really having to go all the way and enter another level of risk. It's only 20 bucks to get a lapdance where you can get a feel for them and also just ask them discreetly if they do privates outside the club. I'd recommend that route over just throwing out a general inquiry here and hoping someone happens to have gone with one you happen to like.
  15. There is no human intervention in those bills until someone calls and complains. It was lazy coding by some programmers. There should have been some basic reasonableness checks on the data. I would think she was not the only person to get a bill like that. What probably happened is somebody who was updating the rates assumed the decimal was implied on some rate per killowatt-hour and put in in as whole numbers.
  16. You are a human being. It is one thing to not want to linger or use resources just to squeeze out a few more days or weeks of pain, but please don't think you don't "deserve" care.
  17. I have a friend whose mother is in end stage renal disease and she has declared she wouldn't take a kidney even if one were available, because at 79 she thinks it would be an irresponsible allocation(her late husband was a doctor).
  18. Fine, but lots of people don't bother to take the precautions you do.
  19. Well it's possible he's in an S/M relationship with a dominatrix who is making him do it. But I agree it's unlikely. But I do think there are bi guys who are 90+% one way or the other, and I don't think it's really worth quibbling about it if they "round up" to straight or gay. So if, say, he does this once a year and is otherwise only involved with/pursuing women I think he's straight enough for horseshoes.
  20. Well because in many cases the escort has your phone number and that's all they really need to find out your identity and make mischief in your life if they should be so inclined.
  21. I don't know if they specifically expect it, but I would tip more on that day. If a regular even any time that week, really.
  22. Er, aren't most of them straight?
  23. I'm actually going to Vegas the following weekend. But I already changed my ticket once, I'm not shelling out another $200 to move it now.
  24. So why would anyone pay when there will be plenty of volunteers in town?
  25. There are plenty of places that view of it prevails today.
