Think about it: If you ASK what's included in an erotic massage, you will rarely get a satisfactory answer because, as well know, "erotic massage" means so many different things to different people. So how could a masseur possibly know what you have in mind? And it's unlikely that the masseur has a cookie-cutter approach to something so based on chemistry and connection. But if you SAY what you would like to be included, the answer will usually tell you everything you need to decide to book or not, whether it's positive or negative. My usual statement is "I like a massage that combines therapeutic techniques with erotic touch throughout, not just at the end." When the response is something like "That's not a problem" or "That's exactly what I do," I feel comfortable booking. If that question results in ghosting, I also have my answer.

Right before Christmas, I had to postpone with a masseur I met at a mutual friend's very buzzy, very flirty holiday party. A lot of the fake Grindr profiles are scams looking to engage in data mining, identity theft, and credit-card fraud. They use PayPal to "reserve a time" and use that to either to pocket the deposit and disappear or--worse--worm their way into your online identity or accounts.

Oh, I'm sure there are clients who ask for one thing and expect or hope for another. And, yes, I know some of them are acting out with guilt and shame about hiring. But I started out by saying that when a provider advertises on both platforms, at least the provider is coming from a place of clarity and honesty. But what does it mean when a provider advertises on RentMasseur and seems to have no massage skills--or the reverse: When someone advertises on RentMen and seems to do massage only? Am I the only one to find this odd--and maybe even a red flag?

Exactly. I just told another poster in a private message that I look for a masseur who advertises "erotic massage" and I look through his description and the reviews to get a sense of the session. If I get a good feeling about it, I ask him about booking 90 minutes not 60, because (to me, at least) that implies more commitment on my part, a higher rate for him, and a massage with a slower pace and more potential connection. At that point I say something like "I'm looking for a massage that mixes therapeutic techniques with erotic touch throughout not just at the end." If the masseur is comfortable with my questions, he will set a rate. If the session goes well, I tip 10-20% over the agreed fee.

Contacted him before my last trip to LA. He immediately responded on RentMasseur with his cell number, but when I asked him to send me a face pic before I texted him, he went silent.
