Simon Suraci reacted to + JamesB in Under-the-Radar Erotic Masseurs
I know you believe you’re doing these masseurs a favor, but if they’re intentionally keeping themselves “under the radar,” what makes you think they’ll appreciate you sharing this kind of information? Some people prefer to maintain a low profile for personal or professional reasons, and exposing them without their consent could create issues for them. It’s always best to respect their privacy and let them decide how much visibility they want.

Through the years I know of masseurs who changed careers and stoped advertising as masseurs but continued providing massages to existing clients.

If they like it under the radar, why not let them keep it under the radar?

Although the independent masseur does not have to share his fee with the house, he does have overhead. One of my regulars spent a lot of money on a heated table. On top of that they have to pay for the towels, the laundry, the lotion, the sheets for the table, the soap for the shower.
Also, as someone who was a tipped employee when I had a part-time job during college, there’s nothing better than getting tipped. It makes you feel so good and I enjoy making them feel good by giving them tips.

OK, remember that self employed masseurs are just that, self employed. No sick pay, no vacation pay, no retirement contributions, no free health insurance, don't get paid when the weather is bad or the economy tanks or the pandemic hits... they pay for their own advertising, do their own taxes, keep their own books, buy their own materials, do tons of laundry, pay for their spaces, computers, cell phones... the lists goes on. Do you need to tip? No. Do you really think they make $500 a day every day? No, they don't. I tip at least 20% for real therapeutic massage or and really good erotic massage. If I get both I tip 40%.

Oh no! This topic again…pick a side 🙂.
All I will say is that some of my clients tip generously, most don’t. I have no expectations of being tipped but it’s nice when it happens. For those clients who I know tip generously I’m more inclined to say yes to their requested day / time even if it’s not convenient for me. If he’s a generous tipper I’m much more inclined to put myself out to meet him.

Providers charge what the market in their area will bear. A terrible:mediocre therapist is going to charge the same as the guy giving an amazing experience. I tip the amazing experience bc I want to reward that person for the extra effort and I want him to be able to make a living and keep providing me great service. It’s that simple.

I am in NYC, Here is how I compensate my regulars:
Masseur 1 - charges 180 for an incall massage, Athletic, mediterranean look, Hands down the best massages I have gotten so far. The guy has superior technique. He loves eating my ass which he excels at, He either fucks me or fingers my hole. I would see him more often than I do but he has a 9-5 job and travels a lot. I give him 300 f for the hour and sometimes a small gift, like a bottle of scotch.
Masseur 2 - charges 180 for an incall massage. He does have an ad on rentmen as well, Muscular boy next door type, I book him for 45 minutes massage and 45 minutes playtime. His massage is very good and he lets me do whatever I want in bed. He is not a clock watcher and never says time is up. I usually end up spending 2 hours with him, ending our fuck session naked in bed or on his couch with a drink. He is a sweetheart kind of guy who likes keeping in touch via text to talk about work and life in general in between our sessions. I give him 400 which he seems very happy with,
Masseur 3 - charges 180 for incall massage. He is not really my type but I find him cute - sorta.. He spends 15 minutes grooming my pubic area, followed by 45 minutes therapeutic massage which is very thorough. Although therapeutic, he is naked during the session and says often that 'more' is available. I give him 240.
Masseur 4 - charges 160 for incall massage. Cute white guy who conveniently lives in my area. I have been seeing him for a very long time. His massage skills are not the greatest, but he is sensual and has a great attitude. He is always available to me and his just my convenient option when I need a quickie, We have never fucked, but he is good at hand jobs. I give him 200-220.
There are others, but those are my main providers at the moment. I feel fortunate working with these guys, all depending on my mood and time availability. They seem happy with the compensation and I have no problem scheduling repeat appointments.

Simon Suraci reacted to Cooper in We can use your help
Gentlemen,
The moderators could use your help. Many of the reports we receive deal with merging threads, usually about providers, and moving threads to the correct forum.
Before posting a message or starting a new thread, please check to see if the topic is in the correct forum or thread. If it’s regarding a provider check that the topic is not already being discussed in a previous thread. Everyday we are merging threads and moving them from the Deli to the Spa or to Questions. Remember, each forum has a brief description of what topics it covers.
If you are reporting a thread that needs to be merged, always include a link to the other thread. Also, always include a reason for submitting your report.
Thanks to all members who follow these guidelines and contact us when action is required.

My suggestion to learn to adapt and not complain was given in earnest. The world has changed around all of us, it has always done this. Adaptability is key not just to a key happiness, but to survival.
You are obviously an adroit writer. Embrace the sending of text messages. Learn how to use the “voice to text command.” Learn how to create a photo album on your phone. Be a part of the culture as it is. It never goes backwards.

EXACTLY! This concept applies to every phone call ever, which is why I will never understand why some people automatically default to calling (or expect me to pick up if they call me while I’m at work etc).

They may be actually busy, but most I think prefer text over actual calls. Have you tried texting your inquiries?

I am going to guess you are 60+ years old? This business doesn’t work with telephone calls. That is a reality you’ll need to adjust yourself to.
Don’t call unless you’ve been invited to do so. Put yourself in the provider’s position. He’s not sitting at a desk waiting for phone calls. He may be at his day job, running errands or doing any number of things. Managing dozens of inquiry calls, many of which may not be serious inquiries, is an imposition. Making an initial inquiry and negotiating the meet-up by text message (on the app he requests) is going to be convenient for him.

Even people I do know go to voicemail.

My voicemail message literally says: "You've reached [my name]. I don't regularly check voicemail, so if you need me, please send a text, e-mail, or reach out through any one of the 100 more modern communication methods for a response. *BEEP*"

I prefer a text or WhatsApp. I’m often busy, or in public/with others so it’s not convenient or appropriate to be discussing booking details with clients on the phone.
I have one regular client who always calls to book, and his name comes up so I know it’s him and I answer. That’s fine, because all we discuss is availability and booking. He’s an older guy (I’m guessing 70’s) so I understand why he wouldn’t text. All my other clients book by text or email. If there’s complicated questions then I sometimes offer a phone call. With people’s busy schedules it’s so much more efficient to engage via text.

Simon Suraci reacted to Keenan in How come providers don't answer calls?
If I'm at my day job or around other people I know I typically won't answer the phone. Personally I prefer that the client text or email me to setup the appointment and then afterwards we can talk prior to the appointment if necessary.

Simon Suraci reacted to ShortCutie7 in How come providers don't answer calls?
I hate phone calls in general. They are incredibly disruptive unless planned/scheduled in advance. In fact, one of the reasons that I don’t even text providers (I instead communicate via RM messenger) is that I don’t want them calling me!
-
Simon Suraci reacted to Shawn Monroe in How come providers don't answer calls?
Thank you. disruptive - especially if you’re returning a missed phone call.
but a lot of people don’t have good phone etiquette. They don’t know how to have an efficient conversation, they’ll meander and continue doing the other thing they were doing before the phone call started, and you’re just holding a phone up to your ear and waiting.
when I started, I’d try to take and return phone calls. But when I realized how uncourteous people could be, I all but stopped.

Simon Suraci reacted to + SportBud7 in How come providers don't answer calls?
There's also a setting at least on your iPhone to "Silence Unknown Callers" so if they aren't already in your contact list, your phone never rings at all. I have this set at all times.
Sure, I miss some important calls from maybe an insurance company or the state where I live, but they always send a notification e-mail or a USPS mail letter if it is really important. In 2025, I seriously have no use for answering anyone who isn't already in my contact list. It's good fraud/scam prevention as well. If at all possible, I urge others to do similar.

Simon Suraci reacted to big-n-tall in “More Top” What it means?
To me it means that the guy prefers to top but isn't adverse to bottoming. What will get him to bottom... is up to the provider to tell you. You really need to talk to him and not speculate or ask the forum something only he could tell you.
The forum is a great tool, but it can't answer every question or speculation about a particular provider and his choices.
