  1. He’s been around San Diego for years posting various ads under Patrick and a few other names. Never met him in person, so take the following with a big grain of salt. My impression from a few years ago reaching out to him was that he is kinda rude and unfriendly. Standoffish, aloof. Got a bad vibe so never met. Very limited in what he will and won’t do. Strict vegan if I remember correctly, although I suppose that’s irrelevant. Good looking all around. Shame he isn’t offering to do much of anything in person with the body shots he advertises in his ads. My impression is you can look but cannot touch. Seems weird, like pick a lane: be erotic and lean into it, or offer therapeutic only and advertise as such. He keeps deleting and making new ads which is always a red flag in my book. Just my take. Curious: have others had positive experiences?
  2. I was driving a client to dinner and he gave me road head…after we had f*cked each other’s brains out over the last hours. Had a few close calls with the cars around us idling at traffic signals. That client is decades older but makes me feel like a teen again. A really hot guy at my gym likes to stand buck naked in front of the hand dryer after a shower to dry off for like 10-15 mins. He gathers quite an audience. Another client likes to mess around in the showers at the same gym. I am always freeballing when I work out too, in tiny somewhat loose shorts. I wonder how many people catch a glimpse when I am bench pressing or doing leg lifts and stuff like that.
  3. ^This, exactly. The phenomenon described here removes a lot of the top talent doing online work from the in-person market. exceptions being the tippy top of the iceberg clients willing to pay $1k/hr etc. vast majority of the market either can’t afford or won’t pay astronomical rates regularly. What you have left are the not-so-famous men willing to do in-person work. Those guys are competing for rates in the ballpark of $200-$500 / hr (ish) depending on geography and many other factors. That gap between 500 and 1000 per hr there is almost no market for because clients willing to pay 3/4/500 can have their pick of the litter among many good options. There is no reason to pay $700/ hr. for someone who will make you just as happy as another charging $400/hr. But you might pay $1k+/hr for a once or twice in a lifetime blowout experience with a well known, highly in demand porn/fans star. That gap keeps rates in check. Sure you will have the odd demand for $700/hr fishing for who bites, but almost nobody who isn’t already in the $1k/hr category is making a living doing regular in person work full time for that “gap” rate.
  4. Confirmed. Another member texted him today to ask about escort services. At least for now, he is only available for massage. IMHO there are much better options in the Big D for top notch quality massage (with OR without extras). Grant is gorgeous, but that’s all you’re paying for here: the view. from his text: "unfortunately I only offer massage and erotic massage."
  5. You misinterpret me. I assume not that everyone is versatile, rather that everyone is capable of feeling, if ever so infrequently, that they desire activity outside their usual position with a certain person at a particular time in their life. To exclude that possibility is closed minded and limiting. I acknowledge some people want one thing 99%+ of the time and that’s fine. Nothing wrong with identifying as such. “Henceforth, I shall limit myself to only one type of sexual expression, no matter how I feel at any point, with any person for the rest of my life.” Said no open minded person.
  6. I echo many of the sentiments already posted. Everyone is different. Level of enjoyment has no relationship with level of, or duration of hardness. When I bottom, I tend to go soft, whether I am enjoying it or not. The top has to hit the right places and the right angles with the right pace to get me going, but once he does, it’s a blast. It’s rare, but the full body orgasm is amazing. It’s not important for me to cum, whether topping or bottoming. I do when my client wants me to cum. I often do. It just depends on the client and what I am feeling in the moment, and o of course if I need to save up my mojo for another client and I know that cum is optional or unimportant to my current client. While being fucked, I can cum when: - hard - hands free - flaccid - stroking - any combination of the above Even when I am just being rimmed, I lose my erection. It has nothing to do with my level of enjoyment. As soon as someone goes south, so does my dick. I can get hard again at various points, usually with some stroking. Not always. The buildup and chemistry matter. Every encounter is different. My favorite is flip fucking. Lots of mutual ongoing anticipation and opportunities for breaks without having to stop.
  7. I chat and share here and there, but nothing that would identify a particular client or compromise their privacy. Sometimes clients ask about what my other clients are like. I give them aggregate, approximate data based on my observations of many. Nothing specific about a single client. I think that’s fine.
  8. Phone convo is great, but needs to be scheduled. Even 10 mins notice helps. Only a small percentage of my day do I find myself alone, in a quite private place, without distractions, and ready to pick up a call. If the contact isn’t in my phone, it goes directly to VM without a buzz. The ringer is on silent/vibrate 100% of the time. Something along the lines of what @rvwnsd posted in a text is perfect. If I can respond right away, I will. If not, I have all the information in the message and can respond as soon as I free up. Voicemails are underrated. You can do a version of the above by voice as well. Email is fine. Same protocol, different platform. Expect slower responses. RentMen Messenger is buggy and slow, so expect delays and allow plenty of time for responses. Text is the fastest and easiest method. I can text responses in many situations where I couldn’t do so by voice. Say, for example, I am in the sauna at the gym with a bunch of straight sweaty hunks.
  9. Men of all body types and ages can be tops or bottoms, or verse or side…. There is a market for every type. Hung bottoms. Small dick tops. Muscly, husky, bear, otter, twink, twunk, masculine presenting, feminine presenting, etc. Any of those and more can be any role at any age. There are no rules. Sometimes the novelty of a twink top is what a client wants and because there are fewer falling into the stereotypical boxes for that age or type, providers offering something less common may find themselves pretty in demand. When providers find their preferences or skills changing, it makes sense to lean into those. It’s also smart to lean into what you perceive your market wants. Nobody is dictating who your market is, though. You can choose to appeal to the majority or seek out niche audiences. Both have their advantages.
  10. I think the point is that those labels don’t matter. A person can identify as xyz and think they want one thing only…until they meet someone who makes them feel differently. It happens all the time with me. Tops arrive with an agenda, and by the time our appointment is over, they are telling me they want to get fucked for their next session. That happened today, in fact. By the way, it’s not from me pressuring them into anything or forcing a certain dynamic. It’s just how my clients respond to our natural chemistry. It can go the other way around for me too. Maybe this never happens to you, and perhaps rarely for some others, but it happens. Those who are sufficiently open minded and in touch with themselves will recognize it when it happens and embrace the unexpected. It can be delightful when you’re open to what life brings.
  11. I had this exact scenario recently. Top client hired myself and another to both bottom for him. Some kinky fun too, among other play. It was hot! After the client had his way with us and shot a huge load all over my buddy escort, I cleaned his body with my tongue and my buddy got up and pounded a load into me…as the client watched smugly and a third guy (masseur) came in to join us for a few minutes until the client was ready for his massage to follow. Then my escort buddy left having completed his responsibilities for the session and my collaborating masseur and I proceeded to give the client a 4-hand massage, getting him off again for the finale. I pride myself on providing good top service, but I can bottom with the best of them. Being “shared” is part of the deal sometimes, and I’m here for it. Whatever the client wants! Cheers to finding what you want. Filtering your search online is one way, but it won’t capture everyone. All you have to do is find someone you like and ask. Even better if he’s a regular. That’s how my client got what he wanted.
  12. FriendBoyPro is an alternate. I got a client from that one today. It’s has a small fraction of the popularity of RM in the US though. I use MintBoys as well. Same story, a small fraction of the popularity, seldom get clients from there. Adam4Adam has “pro” profiles and you can filter for those in search. I would like a solid competitor to give RentMen a run for their money.
  13. Yes, clients do this too. It happened the other day actually, when he arrived. He wanted to bottom and I was ready and able to do that for him but I mentioned it’s best to request ahead so I can make sure to be ready for whatever he needs in the session. I’m just grateful he didn’t wait until mid-session because it puts me in the awkward position of having to pause to discuss business, or otherwise refuse him and suggest we plan it for next time and discuss business afterward.
  14. I have vertigo, but it’s seasonal; it fades after the Fall.
  15. Context matters, and pricing is part of the context. To your point, he was already charging on the high end of the spectrum in your market at the time, so you would be justified in expecting more than a massage, although nobody is obligated to do anything that wasn’t explicitly discussed beforehand. Giving or receiving oral seems more than reasonable given the context.
  16. I agree with others on wrapping up and getting out of there. Good on you for writing a review. It sounds like the OP scenario was for an escort. The following is in response to @KensingtonHomo’s comment regarding masseurs. Regarding the BJ, it’s perfectly reasonable for anyone to charge you for sex work (and that is what it is). It doesn’t matter who is giving or receiving. It’s all the same. Massage has an appropriate rate for it depending on your local market. If we had no boundaries on what we will do for a massage fee, every massage would essentially be underpriced sex work, or overpriced massage. We certainly have the latter available with the $200+/hr massage guys all over. The former you will find masseurs not charging extra but being picky about what they do with whom. If you don’t want them to be picky, pay for the services you want. If what he quotes you is too much, pass. Don’t expect a masseur to give it all away for free to anyone who asks…for a reasonable massage fee. When he does, be a gracious client and tip him generously. Giving the option for extras, in my book, is fine. Nobody is begging you to suck their dick as if you’re doing them a big favor. The service is about YOU and making YOU happy, whatever it looks like for YOU. Big caveat here. Upselling is unprofessional. If you (client) are asking for extras and the masseur quotes you, no harm done. He has every right to say no or offer additional services for a fee. If he suggests or offers without any indication from you that you want extras, take it as a sign of unprofessional behavior and move on to better providers. Find them right here on CoM.
  17. I’m attending all the main festivities this year, arriving Friday, staying in a poolside room at InnDulge. Newell, of my collaborating masseurs/escorts is my guest. We are both available throughout the weekend individually and together, although I’m sure Newell will probably be busy with his regulars in PS. I have a few of my own in PS I imagine will want to book some of my time. My focus and priority, however, is getting to know you all. If you hire me in between the main events, great, but I mostly just hope to relax and have some fun with y’all. Kicking off with the Fri pool party Dinner Saturday evening Pool party Sunday afternoon Breakfast Monday morning Newell may join the pool parties, probably won’t join the meals since those require paying ahead and he will want to stay flexible for client appointments. I check out late morning on Monday, and head back to San Diego. I can come earlier or stay longer should any of you want to hire me for outcall service at your accommodations. I can take incalls or outcalls Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening. When I’m not busy, chat me up poolside at InnDulge. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
  18. I work in my gym time around clients as much as possible. As long as clients are booking ahead it’s no problem. I don’t really care what time of day I go, as long as I go. Sometimes a client contacts me for something last minute when I am already at the gym and I have to tell them I can meet in an hour, counting finishing my routine, showering, and getting back. They get ruffled that I’m not on call 24/7 and that I can’t teleport. Sorry guys, if you didn’t plan ahead and you only have the same hour that you’re contacting me to meet…that’s on you.
  19. ^Some truth here. Most of you guys aren’t like this, but I know a few clients who are. There’s overlap here with kinks surrounding getting a rush for paying for things, especially for sex. It gives the patron a sense in the moment that the act is a manifestation of his own power to control and command other people, to have anything he wants, no matter how outrageous the price. Being able to pay is more important than the service itself. Sometimes it’s just about the concept of luxury i.e. less about the goods you’re getting and more about the exclusivity and sense of self worth or even a rush you get spending because you can for its own sake, not because you should. Again, this is not most of you here. Just an acknowledgment that a market like the one mentioned here, however small, exists. Nobody charging a $1000/hr is serious about growing or sustaining an in-person sex work business. Maybe a handful of exceptions like Cade Maddox, and even then not because he needs the $, but because his well known status allows him to charge that much. Personally, I don’t get the appeal, Cade is not my kind of guy. To each their own.
  20. 1) I don’t know yet. It’s been a tough seven months since the move from Dallas to San Diego. It takes a long time to become well established and stable in a different city and my overhead is quite high. I must be stable before I can hit the road for long stretches again. Maybe shorter trips at first in the Southwest region, then branch out. My goal is to do more traveling this spring/summer/fall, to include Texas. I gotta get through paying for the upcoming CoM annual PS trip in April. We’ll see, maybe after that. I invited a fellow masseur to stay with me. I have won over many regulars in SD, and still continue grow a lot. All signs are positive, and I cover my basic expenses, however I’m not yet reaching the necessary milestones I’ve set for myself - hoping this next six months I will break through. A good many of my massage regulars were seeing other guys who weren’t doing a good job and now their clients see me instead. My escort clients are becoming faithful regulars. Since the average client for any of my services hires me about once a month, I need a LOT of regulars to keep me going and in a stable position. Working on it, expecting to get there within the coming months. 2) I implemented a modest rate increase after my move. So far, so good. My prices are competitive with my local market. Can’t speak to Texas or elsewhere. I focus on offering a good value, to attract repeat business. I want clients to feel like they got more value for the same $ they would spend on someone else. Some of those dabbling in the biz might be trying to see what they can can get (even if it means fewer appointments) and aren’t thinking long term about developing repeat business. Different approaches at play here. 3) Thank you. As a provider and a client myself, I appreciate and expect transparency.
  21. I have a group of Dallas clients who visit the Tin Room a couple times a week. Would you like me to connect you with them? It might be more fun visiting in a friendly group. As always, some nights will be better than others. Regardless, you get out of it what you put into it in terms of energy, tipping, and openness. I heard a lot of the dancers are straight, but they make it a good time anyway.
  22. I enjoyed Down Low. Not an Oscar film, and it doesn’t red to be. It’s a fun ride without having to appeal to everyone. Dark, irreverent, bitingly funny, and full of heart at the same time. Zachary Quinto plays the repressed younger-middle aged man perfectly. And who doesn’t enjoy more screen time with him ❤️?! His character reminds me of some of my clients. Lukas Gage brought so much comedy. I really enjoy when a film takes me past what situations I think the characters can get out of, and then goes even further, such that I am forced to suspend my disbelief and sense of realism and embrace the comedy for what it is, and the richness of the characters moreso than the plot or any sense of realism.
  23. I recommend hiring him for escort services. Very hot, nice guy, very masculine. Fantastic booty (he’s a bottom). Rates are on par with other guys in the area. Massage service is a joke, quick rub-and-tug style with mechanical HE, but man is he hot.
  24. Friend: “Bros before hoes!” Me: “My bros…ARE hoes!”
  25. I really don’t like discounts. I’ve done them in the past and occasionally I list a discount because one of my platforms requires I do this for better placement. The reason I avoid discounts is because it attracts bargain hunters and those who might not otherwise be willing/able to pay my normal rates, and often do not tip. One of my clients got upset that I wouldn’t offer him my active duty service member discount. At the time I offered one but he was not active duty, only a retired diplomat. Also he was paying my regular rate for previous appointments. When I declined, he threw a huge fit saying how horrible I am, blah blah blah. Discounts give some clients a false sense of entitlement. Discounts are a privilege, not a right. And nobody is obligated to offer a discount. I’ll honor any discounts on whatever terms I advertise. Some of my discounts have worked out well, where a client visits me that was on the fence or was hesitant to try my work at my normal rate. Once they try me, they see the value of my work and have no problem returning and paying my normal rate, and some tip as well. My best discount is a referral and I offer this at any time. It’s the one discount I continue to offer with complete confidence and has brought me the most (and best) business over time. It costs me the most initially, but it pays back many times over. “Refer a friend; you both get 50% off your massage. Applies after your friend completes their first appointment.” Overall, discounts are a toss up. It attracts good and bad clients.
