Providers: what makes you not watch the clock?
+ APPLE1 replied to DaltonJ's topic in Questions About Hiring
As a client, that's the experience I have found to hold true most often. -
Most people would be more comfortable with vaccinations if the medical community gave us honest expectations and said right up front: It's likely going to make you feel a little sick, and it's supposed to. That means you immune system is working and reacting to it. Pain, fever, runny nose, etc are all your body saying "there's a pathogen here. We need to activate systems to kill it, and get it out of here." Giving a false sense of "you'll feel just fine," makes many people believe that any discomfort is a "reaction" to a vaccine. The reality is that symptoms less than the full blow disease are normal.

I guess I should count myself lucky, because I have never had a fear for my safety with a provider, or a trick. I understand that some may say I am simply naive. I certainly am not diminishing anyone's concerns or actions in regard to safety. But I must say, walking into a situation unencumbered, with only personal gratification on my mind, is a beautiful thing!

My mistake. One Travis and the other Curtis.

To quote @samhexum I'd have given different advice. It's still sex. It's suppose to be be FUN, at least little spontaneous, and full of doing what feels good. While it shouldn't be a completely miserable experience for anyone involved, I wouldn't reduce my enjoyment by making sure that if I suck A's cock for 1.5 min, I do the same for B. I've been in my share of threesomes. My experience has been that they are NEVER equal in terms of attention. IMO, regardless if they are BF's, or just co-workers, you're neither their relationship counselor nor their employment counselor. If they can't accept the inherent unequal dynamic without jealously, they shouldn't be doing them. If you are worried about it being "equal," I encourage you to express that ahead of time. My expectation is that a couple doing this, especially professionally, should, and will, express that 'it's all good, and there will be no jealousy issues.'

Gay people often have older brothers. Why? And does it matter?
+ APPLE1 replied to KrisParr's topic in The Lounge
So true!!! I don't know any kids who don't claim their gay uncle(s) their favorite? -

Thanks for the answer. Yeah, been there. I see no need to add that site to my bookmarks list. -

I always find the studies exploring "why" people are gay interesting to read, but then I am also left with a bit of internal conflict about wether we should really persevere to know the answer(s) to why. I'm sure if we could scientifically prove that sucking a lollipop on the 37th day after conception made a fetus gay, there would be people who would persevere to eliminate lollipops from the plant. -

"If you want something done right, do it yourself" If it's important to you, ABSOLUTELY bring your own.

I think the big picture is very important. 1) Nearly everything in life, including criminal convictions, involves a huge totality of circumstance and shades of grey. I've rarely found "conviction" alone enough to make a moral judgment against anyone. 2) I only control my own moral compass, BUT, if anyone HERE is going to climb that hypocritical soap box and proselytize based on words like "felony" and "morals," it seems important to remind ourselves the moral judgment many others have of what we do here, and to be reminded of just how encompassing the word felony is. In many places "facilitation" of prostitution is a felony. Days of old, when "facilitation" only meant owning a house of ill repute, are gone! The term "facilitating" was the motivator for Craigslist to end personals. 3) Many states consider criminal convictions "public records." If so, your friends are free to investigate any provider they want to on their own. IF NOT, I'd invite you to have a conversation with your LEO friend about #2 above and the restrictions placed on LEO'S in regard to sharing conviction records.

He's been reviewed here before. A search didn't seem to pull it up though. The review below also has a link to his rentmen ad:

I read in another forum the rate in NYC was down to 200 or 250 😉

Good god NO!!! He could have turned into one of those providers that wants a deposit to even talk to him. Assume he was honest when he expressed that he enjoyed the hookup, and try to schedule another hookup. If that doesn't pan out, you can always arrange a paid session. But, why on earth would you want to broach the subject of buying the cow, when you have a chance to get the milk for free!

New member. On 2 postings as activity. Both posts reference a massage therapist named Curtis. 🤷🏻?

Personally, when I didn't live alone, I always made it clear to anyone I invited over. Even now I make it clear that I have a dog. HOWEVER, whenever I have heard people complain and cry "HE should have told me!" My response has always been "if it was that important to YOU, YOU should have asked." Like so many things we discuss here, it really calls for reasonable behavior on both sides of the relationship.

I can certainly understand appreciate the business philosophies described by @Simon Suraci and @jeezifonly. I am by no means saying every business should follow those philosophies. But, for those looking to increase business, I can say I have certainly tried a number of businesses because they offered a promotion or discount. Some of which, I was very please with and continued to patronize, and others where I decided I was happier with the place I was using before them.

It depends. I certainly might. Is it a question of keeping keep my salary and haul my ass to the office every day, or reduce my salary and work from home? Is it keep my salary and cut l my hours to 20 a week, or reduce my salary and get 40 hrs? There are a lot of factors that would go into accepting a pay cut. Likewise, if I make $450/hr on overtime, I assume my boss expects me to work just as hard when I am working for straight time rate.

Is there recourse for getting back a deposit from a provider?
+ APPLE1 replied to steve's topic in Questions About Hiring
What is this "lengthy chat" bullshit? I hope that was the second lesson you learned. Both parties here have the same mission: ask and answer a FEW questions and make an appointment. A provider is not your friend, your bud, or your pal. Certainly not an initial hire. The time for chit chat is after loads are shot and you're eating up the end of the session laying bed. MAYBE, after the appointment has been made in the initial conversation. Lenghty chat, ie. gaining your "confidence, " is a time tested con man technique. We repeatedly hear providers refer to chatty clients as time wasters, and say it's a red flag. This holds true in both sides of the equation. If a provider engages in chat vs getting down to scheduling, it's a big red flag, and I'm moving on! -
I really hope one of his regular/semi-regular clients makes him aware of the error. Education isn't punishment. It's a lifelong process than can be much easier when someone with knowledge helps us to learn our mistakes. If nothing else, it at least may save us some ridicule.

J Lube (American), K Lube (UK), X Lube (German). They are all polyethylene oxide (PEO) . X Lube is 100% PEO, J Lube is 25%, and K Lube claims the PEO to be a high percentage, but the exact makeup is a trade secret. They are powders that you mix with water. Obviously, they are water based. They are very viscous, and I like that I can control the thickness relavent to the activity at hand 😉. Because they are powders, they are a dream to pack and travel with. They are also economical, so throwing a mixed bottle away won't break the bank, and if you find yourself having to slick down a whole mess of body parts, that won't break the bank either. J Lube was originally developed and sold as a veterinary lubricant, so if you end up in a lube emergency, or you are leary of online fakes, a quick shopping trip to the local farm and barn will put you straight again 😉.
