True that.. I was a bit taken aback by the implicitly negative judgment of those who may choose to patronize H&M instead of Bergdorfs.... some of us may choose a mini cooper over a Porsche too, haha

Young and dumb….just the way I like ‘em.  I am sure he would be offended by my saying that.  My point: like my momma used to say…If can’t say anything nice, keep your mouth shut.  She also said that if you cant take the heat, you should stay out of the kitchen. If he doesnt want attention on his actions, he should stay off of TikTok and Twitter. 

I used to go to Fire Island a couple of times every summer in the 1960s and 70s, but like @LIguy I stayed in the Grove, and if a friend was staying in the Pines, I would walk over to visit. My last visit to Fire Island was in 1981; after that, the guys I knew at the Pines started getting sick, and by the end of the decade, every single person I knew who had frequented the Pines was dead of AIDS. I was no longer living in NYC or spending much time there, so there didn't seem to be any reason for me to return to a vacation spot that would only evoke sad memories.

You need to pick better news sources.

Socially acceptable... I doubt this forum is the place to judge what's socially acceptable considering our behavior.
I've seen great performances of Evita by drag queens in Buenos Aires and even Montevideo.
