My parents owned a hair salon, so growing up I was told you don't tip the owner of a business, but you tip the service team because they are maybe renting the chair, etc. I apply that to massage. When I go to a spa, I understand that you are paying the spa for the 60 or 90 minutes, the masseur is getting paid an hourly rate, therefore you tip the masseur at the spa. But if someone is working for themselves they can just set their own rates accordingly. This is why it seemed a bit brazen for him to turn around and ask me for a tip on top of a nearly $500 massage. 

Unless he had to travel at least 2 hours to get to your home, $450 is an absurd price for a massage. Absolutely  bonkers. And then he shook you down for a tip. 

That is one to avoid.

He has every right to withhold the photos and you have every right to not hire him for doing so. Neither position is unreasonable.

Saw him late last year. I had the exact same experience as the posters above - right down to him being on grindr at the end of the massage. I left feeling like I was inconveniencing him by even being there. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Anyone who’s worked in the service industry will tell you the customer is almost always wrong… the slogan the customer is always right is just something bosses tell their workers so they have to take the abuse of Karen’s and not hurt the companies image by clapping back at people.

Communications easy and clear.  Matches pics, maybe a bit thinner than in some.  (Now based in KC.)  Very good massage, very nice extras.  Warm, gentle, even sweet and tender personality.  Massage felt like it was from a caring BF.

I've seen Jaime several times over the past few years including last week. Best way that I know of to pre-emptively ruin an experience with a new provider is to try to negotiate their fee. If the price isn’t to my liking, I move on.

From May 2022 until August 2024, I hired Andrew over thirty times. Each time it was the same provider. He provided a great, satisfying, professional experience. His body is great and he is very handsome. Maybe a little quiet, but if he is doing his job well, I can't complain!
I would like to get more details about this syndicate that wants to lure people to something else. How do you know? What is the something else?
I never got to meet Ryan so I cannot speak about his ad, but I have been keeping an eye on him for my next trip to LA, so I hope we can clear this up.

So apparently, saying “no” on the internet is a revolutionary act now. The moment I do it, a few self-appointed experts start diagnosing me with “insecurity” or “attitude.”  Guys, calm down—it’s just a boundary, not a global event. If “no” rocks your world that much, maybe it’s not me who needs centering exercises.
Then there are the ones who “test limits.”  They come in like detectives on a high-profile case, trying to “evaluate” me, as if I’m a restaurant they’re reviewing on Yelp. Newsflash: it’s not that deep. You’re not Anthony Bourdain, and this is not Undercover Boss: Massage Edition.  The real clients, the educated, balanced ones…simply ask for what they want, get a quick selfie if needed, book, and go on with their lives. Imagine that. Adults doing adult things.
And yes, to the dynamic duo who kicked off this little soap opera. you know who you are. One of you couldn’t hide his insecurities if they came with a cloak, and the other got emotional because life didn’t turn into a scene from a movie. You’re lucky I didn’t end the session early. What you witnessed wasn’t tolerance; it was self-control. Consider it my charity work for the week.
I don’t need to parade my body around for validation. I’m selective because I can be, not because I have to be. Booking me is a privilege, not an entitlement. I take that as a red flag. For instance if you do everything over the phone including setting a fee rate what's to keep him from saying in person no I said my price was really x when you thought it was y. I want everything in texts first so there is no confusion.
