Maybe there's an accountant among us who can verify, but isn't there a $10,000 rule? That is, any transaction involving more than $10,000 must be reported to the IRS. For example, you can buy a $9,000 car under the radar, but if you pay $11,000 for a car, the IRS automatically gets notified. Obviously, there is no way you could buy a house/condo without raising red flags at the IRS.

I rarely tip. It's not like these guys have a job where someone else sets their salary and may depend on tips. They can ask whatever rate they want.

    1. I’d never heard of WhatsYourPrice.com but I’m glad they signed off with “Warm Regards” to you.

    2. They accuse you of “soliciting sex...for compensation” - the site wants ”generous members” who solicit dates for compensation.

    3. Such “generous members” only pay “for that first date”.

I’d like to know how the website polices all these first dates, which obviously are entirely platonic, and ensures that all further dates are not ‘compensated’ in any way.

Truly, heterosexual men (aka generous members) lead strange lives meeting “out of your league” women (aka attractive members) who “get reimbursed for the time and effort (preparing) for the date”.

Perhaps as a gay man and only a top, I should now think of reimbursing all my ex-boyfriends and former lovers for all the time they spent douching to be ready for our ‘first dates’ ;-)

I usually avoid the Gallery threads but am glad I opened this one. The posted photos confirm that I am not a size queen, at all. Not only do I find this guy super-attractive (like most of the guys in this thread), I'd pay a tidy sum to hire him if he escorted. When a guy has such a beautiful face & body, size just doesn't matter much to me. As long as he gets hard (and small guys tend to get particularly stiff), I'm as happy as a pig in sh*t.

i have met. had a fun 3 way with him. would repeat just haven’t yet. i will say when i hit him up originally he was sort of icy and it turned me off and i did not hire him. however at a later date my friend who knows him recommended him as a 3rd and he was genuinely nice when he arrived He also made and advance effort to wear some gear that i like. after our session i talked to him for 15-20 minutes and was talkative. no idea why his personality failed to come through when i first approached him.

Maybe it's more that they gotta make hay while the sun shines. The season in South Florida is short, November to the end of March. After that, most of the moneyed class goes back to their northern abodes. Of course, FL has plenty of year-round residents, but those are working stiffs, not money-to-burn types.

Hopefully a South Florida native chimes in here to give us the scoop.

I found an old article from the NYT in 2014 in which the Texas Correctional facilities had 1% of their prison population on dialysis
That was 228 men and they were anticipating an additional 99 in the next year, The article makes the point about risk of kidney disease among prisoners being higher due to the demographics of the prison population, Interestingly, the article mentions that survey of prison compliance with medication revealed that prisoners were only 55% compliant with their medications, about the same rate as outpatient compliance. You would think that you have a captive population, so that compliance with medical regimens would be much more successful. Appartently not, No reason was given for the lack of adherence, They did mention the wasted cost of these medications not being used.
Taking the number od dialysis patients as 400 and considering that a single chair can service four patients a day and with a usual frequency of dialysis of three days a week, you have a need for 300 chairs, 30 ten chair units would be pretty busy.
Cost per patient per year for hospital dialysis is about $100000. So $40 million per year for Texas. They can get the costs to half of that probably, if they keep it in house, so that the outlay would be expensive but the long term savings considerable.

The cost of dialysis is exorbitant, With transportation of prisoners to hospitals, you have the cost of the personnel who must go with him and stay there for several hours. You have the risk of a breach of security. Many hospitals do not do outpatient dialysis only inpatient dialysis. So if his care was done outside the prison, it is likely he would be going to a private facility. They can usually fill their chairs (places on dialysis are usually referred to as chairs not beds) without the added issue of having prisoners coming and going several times a week. In addition, m there are many prisoners who are likely to need dialysis as a result of untreated diseases such as hypertension before they got into the prison system. IV drug use adds to the risk of the need for dialysis,
Given the high cost of out of prison care, the security risk s from prisoner transport, the significant need for prisoners to have the service and the scheduling issues for dialysis units, a small 2 to 4 chair dialysis units makes sense if the prison is large enough,
Here is an ad for a company that supplies such services to prisons:

Why feel guilty? If they're in a public place, then they have no expectation of privacy. I remember once walking late at night (hot summer night, waited for the temp to drop) and seeing a couple starting to have sex on the grass of a park, not off in a corner or behind anything, just out in the open. I turned away and quickened my pace. While walking away, I heard a couple of guys say, "Check this out!" as they approached for a better look. Later I wondered why the hell I was so prudish about it. The couple obviously wanted to be seen. Why not give them the audience they hoped for?

Asking people how much they make is generally considered déclassé and rude. Other than that, it is really not anyone's business. I think Kevin shares the data but not the scale because there are data freaks out there and for some of us, the information is just interesting. Also, it is an example of how much attention to detail he gives to his business and by extension, to his clients.

I think that's a personal decision, and differs by individual.

I met a guy in 2017. Took a chance on a phony-picture guy who video-chatted for confirmation, and who was, imo, better looking than the pictures he used. Things seemed to click. Did an hour, then another, an overnight. From a different city, he contacted me when in my region, I contacted him when in his.

I genuinely enjoyed his company. A true gentleman.

But. He couldn't get past the privacy issue. He had, reportedly, had issues with indiscreet revelation of his real identity earlier in career.

I offered to arrange his travel. Flew him to my city. Asked if he wanted join me on trips... short weekends and perhaps lengthier trips. But I told him that at some point, he'd have to move past the total privacy issue. For example, I'd be happy to fly him to meet me in Las Vegas... but I'd need to leave his real name at the desk for a room key. Told him I was even considering inviting him to join me in Europe... but I wasnt going to travel internationally with someone, but not know the name on their passport.

He assured me that he was very interested in the travel opportunities; he'd raise the possibility when we were together. But he wouldn't or couldn't concede on the anonymity point, despite multiple times together.

Last saw him 18 months ago. Eventually, his ad disappeared. I don't know if he retired from the business or simply chose to cut back to being with a few established clients. I never heard from him, and decided to respect his privacy, and never contacted him either.

The vagueness left me a little uncertain. Could he be working with another name? In another city? Using new fake pictures? I've considered a discreet text now and then... something vague like "you still working?" But decide against it. I respect guys who choose to move on from being a rentguy... don't want to be a source of frustration for them, that they can't leave a life-chapter behind and move on.

So... in response to original post... I don't know if there's an appropriate time to share identities. I'm willing to share my identity after developing some trust and familiarity. And, I guess, I'm unwilling to move on to some enhanced levels of a working relationship in the absence of some trust as evidenced by identity-sharing.

Yes, the International Olympic Committee standard is to stop competition at 300 ppm (I assume that means particles per million) whereas the regional government at the AO established a limit of 200 ppm.

Both Rafa & Roger addressed the issue in press conferences, both stating that they felt comfortable with the air quality rule. Novak noted that air quality is actually worse at other tournaments, like Beijing, yet players don't make an issue of it. I haven't seen any comment from Serena.

It is interesting to note that of the five players who went on the record about the playing conditions, four lost in qualifying whereas none of the four players who beat them complained, at least not publicly.

The fifth player Vasek Pospisil sits on the ATP Players Council and is something of a spokesman for lower-ranked players. He has used his position mostly to push for more prize money in the early rounds to allow more lower-ranked players to make a decent living. It sounds like he's speaking out on this issue on behalf of the "serfs," although we don't know how many players he represents. Just the other four on record, or are there are a number of other players who are upset about the issue but didn't feel comfortable speaking publicly?

In any case, the air quality has improved significantly. The readings for the last two days have been ~40 ppm, which is about as good as it gets in any urban center. Let's pray that the air quality issue, as well as the entire brush fire crisis, continues to improve.
