Sorry to hear that some guys completely drop the conversation when they find out you’re Asian. I’m Caucasian but I’m attracted to all types, it’s the individual himself that attracts me, not what ethnicity he is. I like White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian and anything else that I may have left out. And the stereotypes don’t always apply- I’ve been with some Asian guys who have been very well-endowed. But it’s not just the size of their junk, I’m attracted to guys who aren’t as well-endowed, too, because they have something that I find attractive. I’ve been with Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Indonesian and Chinese-Caucasian mixed, and I’ve enjoyed them all!

I only hired 2 providers last year. One was with Jae who goes by Massage Bliss by Jae on masseurfinder. He no longer has his profile on rentmasseur. His texting before the meeting was like a form letter- “Please state age, height and weight for table adjustment.” “Rate is $180, tipping is not included.” He kept making sure that I was going to tip in our messaging.

I guess for a 1-hour booking I'd just request he wear a wife beater like in his photo gallery.

I like the “guy next door” type, a decent enough body but not a bodybuilder, with a reasonably cute face, and well endowed. I would find it intimidating to be with a muscle god, and I associate that body type with a huge ego, or someone who would just go through the motions. Just my psyche, I suppose, but I feel more comfortable with someone who’s more ordinary. And I look at the size of their endowment when deciding who to hire as a provider. Nothing less than 7 for me. Also, I’m on the short side and prefer a guy under 6 feet tall.

I’ve hired 2 masseurs in the past 4 months. One charged $150 for one hour, plus tip, I tipped an extra $90 because he was really good with the sensual stuff, and a really nice guy. I actually had fooled around with him at my gym’s steam room and I asked him in advance of our meeting if he was okay with that, and it was cool with him. He’s not really much of a massage therapist, but the extras were amazing. 
 
The second guy I hired was also a guy that I had casually “met” at a Korean spa, and his rate was $180, and he made sure that “tipping is highly appreciated.” He was quite vague about what the session would entail, and his texts were on the cold side, not especially personal and more like he just sends you a form letter. Still, I went through with it because I think he’s hot. Upon meeting him, I mentioned the Korean spa encounter and he denied ever meeting me. The massage was okay, but he went into the extras very quickly and seemed like he was in a rush to get it over and done with. I tipped an extra $100, because I didn’t know what was appropriate in this situation, and when I left, it had been 35 minutes, not the hour I had paid for. Probably wouldn’t repeat.

I may be in the minority here.  Perhaps I am just lucky, but the providers I have met all look better in person.  I even tell some of them that “you don’t look your age” and “you should update your photos to reflect reality.”  They look much younger than their reported ages on their RM profiles even though I am fully aware of the prevalence of age shaving on that platform.

I’m a realist. 1985 was a time when AIDs was spreading silently in the gay community in North America and Europe . I was living in Europe but visited the US frequently. It wasn’t a time to be promiscuous unfortunately and many of those who were soon disappeared from the scene. I lived through that and wouldn’t want to go back there.

The connection you’ve described is exactly what I seek in guys I see a second time (or more).  Personally, I prefer to think of it more like friends with benefits. I’ve evolved to focusing on a small circle of guys that are dependable,  whose presence I enjoy, with physical compatibility.  The fact that I happen to have wealth and they seek to build wealth is a one of the mutual benefits in the interaction. (And I use “interaction” very intentionally)
