I have more luck with Facebook than Instagram. It seems more prevalent in central Europe. I've seen discussion of this elsewhere, including IIRC from Dan Savage (not that he has the final word). Much of it has been along the lines that there are separate strands of sexual attraction of which physical and romantic attraction are two. Both are real but not everyone is attracted to the same gender for both, or to the same gender for both in equal measure. This society would prioritise the opposite sex attraction over the same sex one whichever way those preferences fell and say, 'not gay'. I don't think we should do that, but rather allow the person concerned to decide how to describe themselves.

How much do the fitness models generally require in compensation?

My experience is with fashion models not fitness models. To start they are just kids, 18, 19, up to mid 20s. Most of them combine modelling with studying. They are definitely not escorts, they do not have the escort money mentality. The pattern I usually see is to start with a nice dinner, drinks at a nice bar, taxi money or no money at all. Then they ask for some money because their agency has not paid them, they lost their phone, they missed their flight etc. So up to this point the cost is 0 to a few hundred max 1K. Costs rise on phase two. You want to follow where they go to be with them. So they go to Milan for FW you go there. You book a nice hotel, you pay for dinners, drinks, you take them shopping. And you also give them some money because the iphone broke down, the agency delayed their payment etc... Then is vacation time, so you pay for flights and top hotels in Ibiza, Mykonos Sardinia. Of course you also pay for drinks, restaurants, for them and their friends who are also models and fucking good looking. So no complains... The bottom line is that the major expense is for the lifestyle. Cash compensation is significant but less than the expenses and definitely less than the cost of an escort. Also there is no comparison between a young fashion model and most of the escorts.
