What the study shows is that sexually identified straight

men’s eyes dilate a little when being shown sexual pictures

of men. Kind of like, but to a lesser extent, they do when

being shown sexual pictures of females.

That’s a LONG way from “no man is 100% straight”.

It’s a dumb sensationalized study. No doubt they got big

government funding to crank out this type of pseudo

science crap.

Dilation is a result of arousal of all kinds, not just sexual arousal.

Also, if no one is 100% straight, it's hard to believe anyone is 100% gay. And there are definitely 100% gay men on ths board.

Even if the study findings are correct, there are people who are, effectively, gay and straight, even though the may experience verying degrees of attraction counter to their effective orientation. I know that I have a mild attraction to women, even though I don't act on it, so i am, effectively, completely gay. There are probably plenty of effectively straight guys who don't act on a mild same-sex attraction.

Well don't stop there. We need details! :D

I have been thinking of venturing into the world of bisexuality. I have corresponded a lot with a bi escort. It occurred to me that it might be fun to tag a woman with him. Floated the idea with him and he wants to do it.

The study creates its own conclusions. Why is eye dilation an indication of anything other than eye dilation? If I watch a woman masturbate with a dildo and my pupils dilate who is to say whether that dilation is an indication of sexual arousal or some other reaction? Even if one could definitively make the connection between dilation and sexual interest in this study, wouldn't it be possible that a man who reacts to an image of another man masturbating isn't making a connection in his own mind between masturbation and any other sexual act?

There are too many variables within the brain that might affect the dilation response to make a generalized statement about the cause behind the effect.
