Like you, I think I pay a premium for physical traits - great physique, beautiful face, etc. - but I have had some experiences where I Have been in a room with a Greek god I've hired - and I can't wait for him to leave.

So simply put, there's more than just the physical. That extra something will be different for everyone. Right now, I'm leaning more towards guys who are fit, attractive, reliable and respectful / and that combo is getting harder to find. That's why the Mike Gaites and Tristan Baldwins are few and far between.

People are attracted to different things and they can’t always explain it, You have a fetish for trade. I have a fetish for bodybuilders and athletic types. Trying to figure out the whys of someone else’s attraction is pointless.

 

And what’s most important to one person in hiring may not be important to another. I think the general consensus is the hire is engaged and willing, on whatever level, to do what the client wants to be happy.

 

The two things that matter to me most are that the guy is engaged and that he will kiss. Kissing drives me crazy. Even if the guy is not a bodybuilder or jock.... or isn’t someone I might typically go for, if he meets my two requirements... odds are I’m going to have fun. Even better if we both do.

Also if there wasn't a demand for the guys that you think "would blend into any crowd", they would be out of business. I tend to be attracted by certain features, but faces, eyes and personality go a long way for me over sculpted Greek Gods, and so thankfully there is a plentiful supply of all types to go around. There is also a sexual energy and charisma/compatibility that doesn't automatically go with the Adonis type, who can often be too into themselves.

when i hire i would like to be with a guy that is so far above any normal looking person that it isnt even funny. perfection would be 6'4" and above, model looking with a 9+inch cock. now....they are out there. my experiences when contacting these "gods" is that they are either so full of themselves that they think us gays need to walk on water for them or they are less than credible as people. i have only hired one that fits the bill out of many that have come thru my town. im just very leery to pull the trigger with these guys.

I don't remember where I heard this but, it was something along the lines of it is easier for average looking men with social skills to get laid then it is for very good looking men. I think it was more along the lines of what women are attracted to but I think it still applies here...it is easier to be 'chill' and laid back and be yourself with an average looking guy and find their sense of humor more charming. Then with good looking guys you expect them to be players or be more snobbish.
