a few weeks ago, I decided I was taking a "wait and see" approach to this new upstart.......

I now seem to be liking the new site and the posts by the rep here on the forum seem sincere.....

the rep claims they don't charge providers, don't take advertising, blah, blah......

soooooo, what's the catch??!!

The site is not commercial, we don’t charge guys for ads, we don’t sell anything, do not sell even advertisement. We do not collect any personal information. No need to create a client profile on Rentboy.pro and send your e-mail to us. Just enjoy your privacy, browse the guys and contact them directly via their phone numbers.

Finally we are not afraid of anything ourselves. Why do you worry?

Color me dumb!

How can the site stay in business?

Unless there exists a benefactor who generously donates money to keep the site going, how are the site's employees and other expenses paid to run the site?

Just a curious person who works in the business world that is not familiar with the described type business model.

Thanks guys for your interest and good words

Odin, having couple of former Rentboy.com employees and one former Rentmen.com employee on board, we started up a new site http://Rentboy.pro which is based in European offshore where escorting is legal. The strategy is completely different this time.

The site is not commercial, we don’t charge guys for ads, we don’t sell anything, do not sell even advertisement. We do not collect any personal information. No need to create a client profile on Rentboy.pro and send your e-mail to us. Just enjoy your privacy, browse the guys and contact them directly via their phone numbers.

ok so if you have all of those people on staff how are you paying them? what exactly is your business model to turn a profit if there is no income and only expenses.

The catch is not material. It’s more like our hobby and more about the idea of a new Rentboy and the idea of “we can do it better”. Our former Rentmen guy also works just against RM who treated him like sh... as well as they treated many other their former employees including @Irish69 who actually built your loyalty for them.

C'mon Boomer, give that cutie a chance, have you seen his pics? He says he likes ParTying, perhaps that dos not mean he needs partYing. Just perhaps.

Thanks LOL. Steffano emailed me back thru the RM mailbox. He said "$300 for Outcall, baby. Let me know where and I will be there." LOL.

And I responded to him and said "I might be a boring client bcoz I don't party and don't do drugs" No reply yet :)

Why do people always blame us that we don’t charge anybody?:) Sometimes I tell to my so called CEO and friend that everyone will be more happy if we will start charging:)

DUNG39 has been texting me and sent me a picture of him but I told him I wish I can hire you but I don't want to take a chance. He said "I'm telling you I am not a cop OMG". Poor kid he really is desperate to make money.

he's probably not a cop....no self-respecting law-enforcement sting team would choose a name like that!

We all work volunteeraly, I don’t get anything except new creative experience. We have been having an investor previously who had a business-plan, but he didn’t get alone with my so called CEO and friend who was “infected” by that idee fixe to build an escort paradise.

You shouldn’t be contacting and stringing along these escorts if you’re not going to follow through. He’s “desperate to make money” bcs he’s responding to your first contact?

It is clearly spelled in the FAQ (last time I read them a couple of months ago) that the site will turn into charging to the escorts in some moment. It is a common business model in start ups, you start offering a service for free, in the process adjusting your site to your market needs, and once you grew enough you start monetizing.

So dear friends from Rentboy.pro, let's be completely honest and share that the volunteer and vocational work is just the beginning, the site will become a commercial enterprise.

I am actually planning to do something similar with my blog. I started it just like a hobby to have fun, then found out there is an unexpected interest and potential market. So I just changed my original plans recently. I am planning to keep growing a few months more as an open blog to then add more services and charge a fee. The plan is that in some moment in the second half of this year you will have to pay a very moderate monthly fee to full access to reviews and media (pictures, interviews, and amateur home made porn).
