I've been trolled by more than one person on this board. The only sane option with a true troll is letting them have the last word because they are incapable of walking away. The only reason I'm even interested in this is because the rent guys who are being exploited here are not in the best position to come in here and raise a fuss. I find it extremely unlikely any of them are going to hire a law firm to take some copyright infringement action. So I'm willing to put in some effort to hold people accountable, even if it's on an anonymous forum.

 

 

 

Another logical fallacy "If you were [smart enough|knowledgable enough|sympathetic enough|whatever enough] to understand my position, naturally you would agree with me". No, we understand you very clearly, and we don't agree. The fact that this has reduced you to hand-waving and name calling shows how little confidence you have in your own position.

I have to assume this is directed at me, since @latbear4blk directed a comment at me that I was wrong when I posited it's a valid position to say the "but it's free" argument is negated because the web site said (and still says) free profiles were a limited time offer. He and I will have to disagree on that point. But the whataboutism and name calling aren't helping your own credibility, which is all you should be worried about.

 

It is my true believe that no reasonable person would agree with you that people here attempting to hold you accountable for your own words and deeds constitutes 'hating' or is 'venomous'.

 

 

 

 

I know this posted was posted earlier than the other posts I've quoted, but I'm putting it last to underscore how this crew keeps giving more reason to be skeptical of anything they have to say.

 

When is this alleged handover of control happening? I wonder if we can expect to see posts from a newbie explaining how it's a new day and

To address someone in the forum, you have to either quote them, as you have done in some replies, or call them using their handle, like this @Boomxyz , so it was not possible to know that specific post was for Golem, since it did neither.

I don't think that is fair, I think all the things I have said are supported by their own statements and the website as it is. If I were to go beyond that, it would undermine the credibility of my argument.

I have nothing bad to say about your new site.

 

However, I have some constructive criticism.

 

The other day when I asked about your business model, I did not get an honest answer. Rather than give me an answer that was not accurate, it would have been better if you had ignored my question rather than to give the answer you gave.

 

Looking through this long thread with more than 260 responses, there is no question that you responded far more than you should have.

 

As you know, the more you responded, the more posts were made. Eventually, the posts became hostile and negative toward you and your co-worker.

 

I again say that it would have been better for you to ignore the posts you did not like, even though you and your co-worker had a tremendous urge to do so.

 

It seems a shame that you feel that you and your colleagues should abandon your efforts to build a new site. You really should reconsider that fast and possible unwise decision.

 

Clearly, some questionable things were done to get material for your site. However, I don't think there was malice intended.

 

Why not work on building the new site in private and then, when the site is complete, come back with an announcement that will make many people happy.

 

To show a comparison of your behavior in this thread, I can think of a different person (a crazy man who occupies the United States White House) who repeatedly comes out (via twitter and elsewhere) and stirs up scenarios that are either untrue or that antagonizes people. Learn from that lunatic example. Don’t keep stirring the pot!

Very good, for the 2nd season of the show I hope you @Golem will grow some balls to attack an older site which has never cared about opinions of haters like you;) They all have SO MANY reasons for your “no hate, just looking for full Disclosure”:)

To be fair, if he said “you are too dumb” I would accuse him of 25 other crimes.

1. Rudeness

2. Bad marketing strategy

3. Harming his own business

4. Sense of self superiority

Also stop creating accounts for escorts w/o getting their consent first, & start being more honest about what it is you want to do. If you guys eventually want to charge for your services, say it, no one is going to be mad over it as long as you're upfront about it. Nobody expects to get shit for free these days anyway. I would change the color scheme of your site too, the current one makes it look generic. That's just my personal opinion tho, I'm a color snob. :)

I think the problem is that they haven’t agreed or decided that, that is why their answers are so ambiguous or contradicting their website. Which is fine, no big deal, they can decide later, or change their mind later.

Just say it as it is: “there is currently no final decision from our group on when to start charging escorts, if ever”. No need for 10 pages of drama.

 

I think they need a communications director, or need to not communicate at all.
