Is the word Alpha losing its meaning?

I have noticed that on cl and rentmen everyone and their mother is an Alpha now. It is almost meaningless now. Im old school for me an Alpha is the bouncer at the door of the club or the soldier who has smoked a dozen taliban in afghanistan but is out on the town like any average joe. An alpha for me is not a guy who has touched a pair of 15 lb dumbbell or who has a chinstrap and a shiny pair of pleather chaps. Oh Bobby Garcia where art thou?

Lol we do the best we can. True alphas are rare. I have made it my lifes passion to meeting them in very interesting ways. Once you covort with marines n athletes u just cant go back to the usual haunts n sit back n listen to the blasephemy i witness everyday with everyone being dom or alpha.

Lol alphas are guys that exhibit typical masculine characteristics to a faultm For example alot of marines are really just boys who wanted to get paid to play with guns n explosives. They are risk takers. They drive too fast n tqke many chances. They are the guys who often end up dead or in jail. They dont make great life partners but a night with them is euphoria. I can already tell thos concept is ungraspable to many who will point to some escort who displays pseudo macho characteristics. Alphas rarely will refer to themselves as alphas or doms and god forbid masc. The truth is you are unlikely to find alphas in places many on here look. By virtue they wouldnt be there

You could have saved us all this bs. We all know alphas exist. Go to any nightclub on a sat and they are there. Go to any school yard n u will see. Go to any prison yard and u will see. Sometimes too much science takes away simple common reasoning. Our concept of alphas didnt come from one scientist in 1977 thus he alone couldnt disband the idea.

Tattoos do too, probably because of their historic roots in multiple cultures as "rights of passage" and also adoption by military over the years for similar reasons.

I think you've missed the point. What Russ was saying, and what his twee video attempted to portray was that the idea of the Alpha male as a cultural and biological inevitability is nonsense. The idea of an assertive, dominant, entitled male who thinks he runs the world is very much alive, but that's not the same thing. Oh, and Russ can be as alpha as he likes, whether that is a thing or not.

To me, that's a bad boy who's stuck in adolscence. If you want a night of euphorically wild sex find somebody whose bipolar and off his meds. He'll definitely give you a run for your money.

You are the only one who seemed to get the relevance of how i am using and applying the word everyone is getting into irrelevant pseudo science thats not relevant.

 

I once saw three firefighters enter a supermarket in their uniform shopping for the firehouse and the whole supermarket got silent and u could hear women whispering n watching. I remember when nfl combine was held in ny and all these big hulking guys were outside radio city music hall. Girls who could give a shit about sports were all giggles. Thats the alpha effect i dont need to hear any scientific fluff when life experience tells me what i need to know.
