Do you really know an industry related site except for Rentmen media products with a better design??? I think I should remind that when everyone had a habit to use just Rentboy.com, Rentmen received such "compliments" about their design. But it was not bad, it was the same design they have now:) Anyway Rentboy.pro is going to develop further. I hope you guys noticed that we take your constructive crit to improve the site

Rentboy.pro doesn't charge escorts, doesn't force them to provide personal and financial information, doesn't collect any data, doesn't behave with escorts like a boss, etc.

I've not met anyone new via the site however I did avoid hiring someone I otherwise would have. There's a RM guy I'd made some future, general plans with - no specific date but I intended to meet him soon. His profile popped up on RB and the pics were pretty different from those on RM - they showed someone a good bit older and looking pretty ragged.

 

 

I'm sure that the site design will evolve but a couple of quick observations of things to consider: 1) some ability to search based on keywords, attributes, etc., would be helpful, 2) some sorting functionality, 3) the profile information screen could perhaps be redone to condense the information into a single, readable page that is more dense, 4) the information beneath the rates seems a little non-uniform and I'm not quite sure what is supposed to be here (take a look at Sleepyboy.com and the way every possible question has a yes/no/other sort of answer that makes it easy to fully comprehend, and, 5) the location display screen could likewise be made more dense so you don't have to scroll thru so many - there's LOTS of screen room with the 3-across format and allot of helpful information could be included here to make it less laborious to peruse profiles.

 

Most importantly to me is some transparency around what the whole "approved by admin" thing means:

<name> is not just a tall muscular handsome stud with great stamina, he is a hard working young man who takes seriously everything he does. If there would be a contest between professional rentboys, <name> would get a Grand Prix. And he is so generous giving his professionalism to renters... His rate is very competitive for <city> area!

From the FAQ: "The only reviews will be comments from the site's representatives who will meet you in person or see you by Skype upon YOUR requests... Special verification signs and good comments from the Admin in your profile will increase your business " and " "Star" means participating in "Most active" section, a guy who wants more visibility and who usually has more availability to meet up. "Crown" means "Gold profile", the guys who we value the most, they are usually exclusively represented by us or give special rates for Rentboy.pro users."

 

This is wholly subjective and, being the cynical type, it makes me wonder if this "approval" is purchased, or at least reliable. If they want to convey a sense of transparent impartiality then a uniform set of objective questions would be better: Does he look like his pictures? Are his stats accurate? Were the logistics of start/finish time and place followed thru upon? The sorts of things which two different people would always agree upon. Also, what will be done with the client experiential feedback?

 

 

I'd really love to see this site succeed. RM is almost a monopoly and that's no good for anyone so this is intended to be wholly constructive.

I attempted to juggle two sites (RM and M4RN). It was a nightmare updating travel schedules on two different pages and sorting out where clients were finding me. Ultimately, the small bump in number of clients wasn't worth the headache.

They charge you a top dollar each month appearing to be even more expensive than Rentmen. And in many of their tariff plans you even HAVE TO BUY an opportunity to replace your ad to another city. They make you to wait for their "approval" of your every step. They censor every word and every picture of yours. They hide, hide and hide your information...

 

And excuse me guys but after a huge "compliment" from Benjamin_Nicholas I will allow myself to make one joke:) If a "confused child" designed Rentboy.pro, who designed M4RN then? Someone who came from the 90s in a time machine?

One of the biggest benefits of Rentmen and this forum is that the reviews of actual customers along with a review system is available and posted. I just looked at rentboypro for the Boston area. I would not even consider anyone of them without the reviews of actual clients and or a client rating system posted. There are a few who hire with little information. I am pretty sure most serious clients vett their providers through the ratings of others as one major statistic for hiring. If rentboypro does not create a system of this nature, I would say serious use will be limited at best.

Rentmen reviews system has not the best reputation for a reason. There are many renters (clients) here on the forum whose reviews were not processed or finally deleted by Rentmen. Also every second or 3rd active escort already has a little "army of clones", fake clients' accounts on Rentmen to support himself and to beat perspective competitors. Is it a review system? More like a profanation in my opinion. Of course while Rentboy.pro is only 2 months old it has not much trustability yet, but it will grow. More adventures renters of course are the firsts to give us a try. Then more cautious people like yourself will probably decide to do so too

It was announced here. No one free sample session was done. This old option will be removed from the site soon. We were a little bit too busy with creating other options like Travel locations (were added only because you guys considered it useful, the crew was initially against Travel locations); creating new city search algorithm (the initial one you didn't like), etc. Everything takes time and to speak frankly we work 12 hours a day for free (we don't charge anyone of you), for the idea of a new Rentboy. But I think we already showed you: no other project was so sensitive towards YOUR opinions

It can be a METRIC but by most clients, I am pretty sure it will be perceived as a biased one that will not hold a lot of weight without client opinion to support it. The more unbiased a data set is the more it best represents the sample. Therefore, the random opinion of multiple clients assures more reliable data. A better and more unique approach would be to do both. You need a client rating system along with your own review system. Granted the client and theirs may not always agree but that is ok. It enforces the reliability, perception of the review. I have reviewed providers who others found not as good. The client has to make the final decision but will feel comfortable doing so because the data may be percieved as reliable even though it maybe conflicting. Many times clients will just contact other clients through email to resolve their issues. The bottom line is that if you want this to take off you have to have some sort of client review system that is perceived to be reliable and for the most part accurate if you want the client to TRUST your rating system.

I would work with Daddy in some sort of partnership on the review issue. I really don't trust most of the reviews on RM. I have faith in Daddy that he does a good job of weeding out the false reviews. He's been doing this long enough to where I am quite certain he knows a bs review vs a real one.

I personally think, that Rentmen review system has much more issues in fact while after collecting your phone numbers and your money + financial info (for premium members) they choose whose review will they post, whose review will they delete and whose review will they post, then delete.

Our goal was to offer something new and less shady. And we will keep working on it
