No "bleh" here! I've always been attracted to masculine lesbians and transgendered men. I've had crushes on trans women as well. I don't care about genitals.. above all, I love a sexy body and face - and someone I can have a conversation with. Personality.

BUT -- with one of these guys (like Cyd ^) I'd be so intimidated that I'd literally have a heart attack and die in his presence. We know this... gay men are intimidated... straight men are intimidated...

That's all. I have a crush on Cyd St. Vincent... and there is no "blush" emoticon for this......

I met my first intersex back in the 70's. They had both parts of a reduced size.

They had the most awesome mother. When the doctors wanted to "Fix" the so called problem Mom refused.

My Friend was allowed to manifest however they wanted. Male, Female, Androgynous, Asexual would manifest as they wanted or needed.

When She decided that She was female, She told Mom.

Mom produced a saving book, and told her to go to do it. Mom had saved up all her extra cash for 18 years to fund the surgery.

I may not ever experience a vagina, but Cyd I'd never throw you out of bed because of a bit of skin. In the end, that's all it is: "Skin."

Daddy would love to meet you for lunch some time.

Would you be so kind as to explain the attraction? I don't understand it at all.

As a man who's mostly a top, what turns me on is a man's body and face. I found fucking in a vagina more pleasurable than in an ass. It's physically easier, and he reached orgasm more easily, and we were able to orgasm multiple times. And I could tell because the vaginal walls squeezed against my cock when he reached climax. While I like sucking a man's cock sometimes, I find sucking a huge cock uncomfortable, especially over a period of time. My jaw muscles become painful over time. Obviously, I would be turned off if there were breasts or the form looked feminine. But he had a firm, muscular chest and a handsome face. What's difficult to understand?

@Unicorn, I did not understand because I had no frame of reference. I appreciate you sharing the attraction as it has given me some clarity and insight.

That's a dated and somewhat offensive term.

I won't argue that it may be offensive, and I wouldn't use it, but it is a scientific biological term for an organism that has both sexes. Since the immediate reaction to the condition ceased to be 'reparative' surgery we've needed to move on from a strictly biological term to one that's suitable to use in a cultural and social context.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the term is derived from the Greek myth of Hermaphroditus, son of Aphrodite and Hermes, who merged with Salmacis to become a being with both masculine and feminine sexual characteristics. I'd argue that it wasn't a scientific biological term to begin with?

I don't know the origin of the term, but that sounds right. Regardless of its origin, I would say it became the accepted term for having both characteristics so became in effect a 'scientific' term when the condition was only seen in a scientific context. That is no longer the case so the term needs to move on. It's still appropriate for invertebrate biology, but not for people.

Also if you get off on your partner's pleasure, people with female genitals (clitoris, g-spot, etc.) are capable of multiple, sometimes continuous, orgasms. As @Unicorn has alluded to, vaginal walls contract during an orgasm, providing a squeezing sensation that can cause or enhance their partner's climax, in a way that's probably not possible or likely with anal intercourse.

A point of clarification: it's a biological term for an organism that has reproductive organs normally associated with both male and female sexes. Intersex people generally do not have two sets of reproductive organs (with the exception of "true gonadal intersex"). And unfortunately, the typical immediate reaction to an intersex newborn is still sterilization and/or genital surgery, though there's growing awareness of how that violates human rights and ethics among advocates and within the medical industry.

Which is why "hermaphrodite" is inaccurate and considered offensive.

Also, at the risk of sounding petty, I mentioned this in my response to @Rudynate. Either people didn't read it or I wasn't clear enough. Or people didn't believe me.

I first read the term as an adolescent. Even then, 50 years ago, the word was always qualified with the comment that it didn't accurately describe the condition, since every individual, chromosomally, was either male or female. The treatment objective then was to give the individual genitalia and secondary sexual characteristics that matched his/her chromosomal gender.

OMG what a great message to read :) Thank you!

I certainly don't see want you to go so far as to have a heart attack though! I've been told that I'm a relaxing presence so hopefully one day we can have a non lethal encounter!

What an awesome story! It's rare about the kind of brave parent that doesn't choose normalcy over agency for their child

And Daddy, lets do lunch! Name the time and place why don't you ;)

I want to say that I'm really impressed by the overall tenor and level of this conversation. As a trans guy thats been visible in gay worlds through porn and escorting for a while, the conversations I've witnessed about my body and the bodies of people like me hasn't always been that pretty. I want to really appreciate that so many guys on here are so down with trans men and the guys for whom it isn't their thing aren't virulent about their rejection. There is a lot of trans guys posting in here and part of it is because this has, from what I've seen, been one of the most accepting places for gay trans guys online.

We've had threads on transmen as male escorts...

Has anyone heard of intersex escorts?

Does this strike anyone's fancy--or, "bleh"?

I had to look up the definition again. This is plucked from

the "Intersex Society of North America" website.

________________________________________________

“Intersex” is a general term used for a variety of conditions in which a person is born with a reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn’t seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male. For example, a person might be born appearing to be female on the outside, but having mostly male-typical anatomy on the inside. Or a person may be born with genitals that seem to be in-between the usual male and female types—for example, a girl may be born with a noticeably large clitoris, or lacking a vaginal opening, or a boy may be born with a notably small penis, or with a scrotum that is divided so that it has formed more like labia. Or a person may be born with mosaic genetics, so that some of her cells have XX chromosomes and some of them have XY.

I worked with Buck Angel on stage once in Portland~

He was super hot~! Very masculine... did a couple hundred push ups before going out on stage... was rubbing his bulging crotch in front of he audience, slow strip tease... big guns and beefy chest...

Finally unzipping his pants... suddenly pulling a dildo out of them and fucking his pussy with it~ ❤️ Very hot and intense~

Buck is sexy and sweet... I have to add, one of the most masculine people I've ever met~

I didn't realize Buck Angel was intersex. He's only ever publicly talked about himself as trans.
