I put my age issue right up front -- in my handle here, in my overture to any escort in whom I'm interested. I almost aways say something along the lines of "I'm 62 and look my age," and offer the low drama option of saying "I understand if I'm older than you prefer, no need to get back to me if that's the case, have a great day." Then I look for a response that earns my business. Its a useful strategy that's produced good results for me, and hope it works for the service provider.

well said. I have always indicated that I am a mature man (think I look good for my age and have been told that by most escorts) when hiring an escort. I would think that most of us hiring escorts would be a bit older. Just makes sense. We are at a stage where for personal reasons we can afford and select who and when we want to have sex with. I have preferences in who I choose. It really doesn't matter to me if they would have sex with me if I wasn't hiring. As long as the sex is hot and sweaty and fun that is all that really matters. Not looking for a relationship here.

I agree with Epigonos. If an escorts does not want older gentlemen as clients, I wished they would state that. I do not want to be with a guy that cant stand me. I believe their are escorts that it is OK if you are older and will provide you with service.

I neglected to state in my previous post on this thread that in one my early emails/texts to a prospective hire I ALWAYS state my age and tell the escort to let me know if it is a problem. I have never had and escort answer negatively, however, I have had a couple who simply didn't respond to my email. No problem either way -- I simply move on.

I believe that's a good strategy. No different than what I do prior to hiring in stating what I'm looking for out of a session. I think honesty and transparency avoids a lot of issues. I do this on the very down low so my profile pic is obviously not me. I clearly disclose that as well. I did find one that closely resembles me however. @TopTierTop can confirm that . And I frequently will send an actual pic right before meeting for absolute transparency.

What works for me is if the client just has the attitude that the idea is for it to work out well between us and not just what I have and when they can have it. The only way we have to make that more likely is to talk about what each likes and whether that is something both think is worth it. As far as an actual pic, I empathize with anyone concerned about discretion, but the reality is that most of the times I do get a pic some time before I actually have a paid encounter with anyone. Of course, I do always offer to meet for coffee near my home if a pic is a problem. That is also a good way to make sure we both think it is going to be a good match.

If an escort (on his private time) doesn't want to see or isn't into a certain type, age, or ethnicity, there is no need stressing about it. If he is being so stupid as to say vile things about his clientele on social media unwarranted, then hopefully he'll lose business. You personally can't do anything about it, except not see him during his "working hours".

 

With that said, I can't say I am the ideal type for all the guy's I have meet. Ageism swings all ways. A working guy I see told me he likes mature men. I am the youngest guy he sees (I'm about 10 years his senior). He mentions in his ad he prefers mature gentlemen. I don't ever recall seeing that bit of info. Which is why I didn't hesitate to contact him. Either way, he often tells me he likes me a lot, and it's one of the reasons why he stills sees me.
