I notified our gracious host that I plan to attend, so I look forward to seeing yall there.......well, at least some of you. :p

The JawJaTeck will be in attendance. Now all the beautiful young bees will be seeking the sweet Southern nectar. What are we mere mortals to do? I know, watch and learn.

Please mark your calendars for the Weekend – April 22 and 23, 2017. Specifics will not be posted here, in order to preserve confidentiality. Therefore, if you are serious about attending this year’s events, please send me an e-mail (if you know it) or “private message” with your return e-mail address so that I may send you the pertinent information as it unfolds. Your confidential information will be respected, as I expect mine to be.

 

 

The first order of business will be dinner reservations, followed by RSVP’s for the pool party at my temporary residence. If you will be bringing a “guest”, please tell me who. That information will also be kept confidential, unless you say otherwise. Attendance by escorts (by themselves or as someone's "guest") is greatly encouraged.

 

If you will be coming from out-of-town and need accommodations, you should arrange for those ASAP, if you have not already. There have been several suggestions put forth in previous threads concerning possible accommodations.

 

Again, the dinner will be early Saturday evening, April 22, and the pool party will be in the afternoon of Sunday, April 23.

 

If you have any questions, please ask in your e-mail or message. I look forward to renewing acquaintances and meeting new ones! Come and enjoy!:)

I received my email! Thanks! I will be able to confirm my attendance soon. I am definitely in for the pool party. Might not make the dinner. I will email you soon.

I hope y'all have an awesome time. I won't be able to attend the Palm Springs weekend. There is a surprise party that weekend for one of our closest friends, which I must attend. I'll have fun, but probably not the kind y'all will in PS. :p

Damn how time flies. Just think two weeks from today many of us will be in Palm Springs getting ready for the first event of the Palm Springs Weekend -- the Saturday evening dinner. Hope everyone planning on attending has notified Oliver. I am so looking forward to seeing many old friend and meeting many new ones. I've actually started doing the prep work for the Sunday Pool Event hors d'oeuvres.

Honest to god guys I don't get it. I make the "damned deviled eggs" even though I personally hate the damned things and will NEVER understand why people like them. This year I planning on making three dozen eggs or 72 pieces and you are all welcome to them.

I love deviled eggs and tho I have not had yours I am sure I will. Please know that my fingers are available to help with those or any other appetizer (or anything else actually).

Thank you for the generous offer TruthBTold BUT it has always been our hosts (Oliver's) policy that all attendees at the Sunday Pool event are his honored guests. Thus the only thing his guests may bring is a healthy appetite and a healthy thirst. The only thing they may do is have a good time.

Over the years I have, by choice, become Oliver's chief cook and bottle washer. I have occasionally been know to whine about the work involved but, in the end, the truth is that, I love every minute I spend preparing the food. The Weekend has become one of the highlights of the year for me.

Or you can do both. Eat some deviled eggs while having sex. ...do a little splooshing. :p

Wayne (aka @Socalguy) and I will be arriving in Palm Springs one week from today!

 

Looking forward to reconnecting with friends we don't see nearly often enough, and making new friends as well. We'll be staying at Canyon Club, through Sunday night. I know several of you are staying there as well. If you happen to see me out and about at the resort, please feel free to come over and say hi. I don't bite! I'll do almost anything else though. ;)

a couple extra ideas for those interested......

 

1. many here know that the Adonis LA outfit does a weekly Thursday event in Palm Springs.....I/we will probably hit this on the 20th....I've heard it's a good idea to get there somewhat early (9:30-ish?) because things quiet down by midnight (many patrons and entertainers apparently leave around then, I've read)......join the mailing list under "contact" for more info sent "day of" to your email:

2. my "friend" and I plan to hit the Toucan's drag show on Sunday eve the 23rd...we went last year and had a ton of fun....a fun-loving, cool, casual crowd and hilarious show......scroll down for Sunday the 23rd info:
