Oh please! I know how this will end. During the finale Robert and Lance Bass will declare their undying love for one another and tell all that they have been having an affair all throughout the season. Lance will divorce his husband and take Robert in. Season 2 will feature Lance's ex as the new Prince Charming.

Indeed, you are, as always, "on the money" in your comment jjkrkwood. . .

Robert knows how to make his money. I am very surprised he hasn't started marrying and divorcing to take alimony and settlements. He's already connected to lawyers who will sue for him. And he's a trail blazer. In case it hasn't occurred - he's a professional trophy wife. Caveat emptor.

"The value of a "trophy" wife or, indeed, husband, as with any work of art, is scarcity; everyone who wanted Rob has had him, and, thereby, what value will he have as a "trophy"? And, if Robert knew how to make money, he would not have been evicted from his NYC apartment for non-payment of rent. As to him being connected to lawyers who will sue for him, I have yet to be informed of any papers being filed in any court on his behalf. Trail blazer? The old basement bar of the Gallus restaurant at Atlanta was populated by men such as him with similar backgrounds, aging Bugatti Boys, eager to turn a trick for fifty dollars, who, as with Robert, had had their day in the sun and found themselves at the tail end of their careers. As to marrying and divorcing from his money, my observation in life is that women of substance demand value for their money: sexually, he is a brood mare, not a stud stallion, and, as noted, he not given to attentiveness.

And here's the thing about trophys: they end up on a shelf, and just get dusted off every now and then... You really dont pay them much attention... Then you downsize and they end up in a box in your garage, and then on your lawn in a Garage sale. The life of those trophy's is short-lived.....

Short-lived has always been his pattern, which is why marriage/divorce cycles with alimony or settlements could be a viable option for him it seems. He goes for the wallet and/or high life access his dads have provided, but can't keep it going and turns it sour. Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to turn.... I mean learn a new trick that would get him financial security for longer, now that his options are dwindling.

I encouraged him to pursue a career as a "walker"; unfortunately, he has no conversation apart from himself, no social skills, he can't dance, and, he can't play contract bridge, and, apart from his physique, he is not athletic, and, his participation in "sports" is limited to masturbating himself. As one woman of substance remarked to me, "He might be good for a one-night stand, but, beyond that. . .no."

So he picked the porcelain, stoic one over the happy-go-lucky "spoiled" one. Bye bye Brandon.

I had an inkling that the spoiler was wrong when he and Eric were in the pool and more seemed to be going on than the editors were showing. Brandon conveniently hurt his foot on a group date

@robberbaron4u, CAN"T PLAY CONTRACT BRIDGE!! How could he survive in polite society? Then again, I can only play 500. I know I have damned myself by that admission!

Nonsense; you have a place on the platform marked PURGATORY on the rail to Hell.

Nonsense. Damned? I think not; perhaps, though, a few centuries in purgatory.

A PRINCESS was picked !

Well, ALL: the dirty laundry was aired, and Prince came clean about his past to the 3 remaining guys, and shed a tear over his escort days..... They ALL understood and forgave him his sins.....

Then Princey boots the black guy (who only was kept on the show to repair Princes image). And then there were 2...

Brandon suffers an injury, and Eric continues to mumble thru their Final, deciding dates.....

Princey cries, and cries and cries over his difficult decision between his 2 ladies in waiting, and Lance just smirks.....

In the end, THE WINNER IS: MUMBLES... (Oops, Eric), the HIV+ pretty boy, who Princey declares "Is PERFECT" ! (muscle boy Brandon is set free)...

And they lived happily ever after (until the split announcement comes).....

Throughout the season, I thought that Justin and Brandon might make a good couple. Maybe there is a spin-off there.

They say opposites attract. Mister Sunshine & Mister Thumb Up His Butt.

I think Eric and Robert are a bit too much a like: straight faced... and too eager to go "straight" back to the gym.

What turned me off about Eric was that, apart from his mildly interesting HIV positive backstory and struggles coming out in his youth, he was even duller than Robert. Every line of his was borrowed from contestants in The Bachelor, Bachelorette, etc. The same stock "I am afraid to get my heart broken", "I am learning to *drink!*... open up", "I think Robert and I have a *drink!*... connection."

You just know that was the show's intention all along. It wouldn't surprise me if he was picked because of his escorting past. There really isn't anything "bad" about doing that in the past, unless you are a conservative politician promoting "family values" (i.e. husband + wife + unpaid mistress whose apartment is written off as a tax deduction for your business). In addition, his experience in escorting gives him the ability to treat each contestant equally with full, undivided attention so that each (aside from Eric) can leave broken hearted.

Did he come clean about having escorted most of the last 13 years? Or just about the "college" days? Didn't watch.

It's his lies and conning that were the problem, not his escorting. Wish he had talked about it from the start and dealt with it head on, instead of the total lies about being a business person and "activist", and falsely presenting himself to everyone as a real catch, a gay icon Prince. He really would have been a Prince if he had the wherewithall not to try to get away with his bundle of lies - it ruined the whole premise.

As one of several former daddies of his, this was an interesting experience. RobberBaron is probably a better writer than me, but the stories I also have would make for an engaging gay Breakfast at Tiffany's. Although I doubt Robert will head overseas and do the work that Holly did in the end.

We all have our OWN Prince Charmings...

I felt he cleverly stated, "I started escorting in college," without stating how long he did it, or that he was no longer doing it. It will be interesting to see how Lance addressing it in the reunion show next week.

I still think Chad was the one he wanted initially, despite somebody saying on the reunion show that he had his eyes on Eric early on. Usually when somebody says "it was always so-and-so from day 1" on The Bachelor /Bachelorette, they are trying to ease whatever tension there is with the happy couple. Obviously the lead is interested in more than one. It is what it is with this show. Yet Robert did not look happy when Chad left and he had trouble looking and talking to him in that reunion show. It was as if he was trying to say "why did you leave me?" I also found it strange that Chad had no solo dates as if the producers thought *something* might be revealed too early.

Things might work with him and Eric, but this "let's see how things go" sure does NOT sound promising. They remind me of Juan Pablo and Nikki... and Andi and Josh... "Prince Farming" Chris Soules and his blonde fertility doctor (I suddenly forgot her name)... before they broke up on their ABC seasons.

The Reunion show was a hoot. The 13 Queens rehashing their time in the house , venting and "reading" each other while the Prince sat in a chair and observed, looking bored and detached, flanked by his final 2 suitors, one of whom (Eric) became his lady in waiting, looking as "blank" as he did thruout the show. While they did confirm they were "navigating" the waters of a relationship , they weren't convincing that a "relationship" actually existed between them... And Lance kept telling the viewers "if you want to compete for the NEXT Prince charming, send in your audition tapes"..... Another Season ? OY!

It was also funny when Lance asked Robert if he would do the show again and he was a little TOO eager to say yes. Well... if you don't succeed the first time, try try again. After all, he learned all about himself "with this process".

Yeah... this show was a bust. Yet I don't think the producers were necessarily seeking a happily ever after. They were just testing the market with the "first (actually second) gay dating show" to see which Far Right Wingnuts not focused on Pat Robertson's 700 Club would protest. Fortunately it was aired after RuPaul's show, which likely frightened them even more.
