It was my rather silly (and probably stupid) way of agreeing with Juan and latbear4blk and supporting their position.

Not stupid, Zip. Sarcasm, irony and nuance are not universally appreciated, even by those of us outside the lower 48. Proximity to the 49th parallel tends to increase it for some reason. (Oh dear, I'm stereotyping!) Was Juan taking offence or playing along with your mock surprise? Who knows? I have my thoughts on the matter, and I'll sit back enjoying those thoughts by myself.

I guess it's because they're trying to sell themselves as masculine and some folks on here have an attraction to guys who also like women. I'm sure there are some guys who are truly bi but I think in many cases it's nothing but a way to promote themselves as not just gay...

 

I don't hire guys who call themselves straight because I like the BFE and I'm not interested in hiring someone who's thinking of pussy while having sex with me wishing everything was done soon.

*Disclaimer- I did not read the entire thread, I'm just answering the OP's question with my comedic opinion

 

 

A- If they can fuck some of the dudes they gotta fuck for money (although we all know they are paid for the TIME they spend with clients, anything that happens during that time is between consenting adults), well then... they can fuck ANYTHING, so y'know... women too.

 

B- Marketing (I'm sure someone in this thread somewhere has already posted a perfectly fine, nuanced explanation about why it is good marketing so I'll just refrain from doing so.)

Escorts label themselves more often than not as a marketing tool. I have many clients fish to see if I am bisexual because some how it makes it hotter for them. I try not to give it to much thought because it makes my head hurt

Let me throw in my anecdote: I knew two 20-somethings that advertised as "bi" but when I inquired about this, both of them acknowledged that they only used "bi" as a descriptor because they assumed that it would be more alluring and could reel in more clients. Neither of them identifies as anything but gay in their real lives.

this denial of labels is odd. everything in life gets labeled - and its not a big deal. accept it and don't make it a big deal. if you're gay - say it. mostly no one cares any more, and if someone does - even more reason to be clear.

This obsession with labels is odd. Human sexuality is much more complex than 2,3 or 10 labels.
