All your friends at "CRUISING for SEX" wish you a speedy recovery! And Christopher Maddox is willing to help as a substitute hand if you need one -- but I'm sure those offers are coming in from all corners of the universe.

Love and hugs,

Hooboy, Your health is your most important asset. Guard it well. Take the time to heal and put every effort in that direction first in your life. Get the help you need and know that the rest of us are hoping and wishing for your speedy recovery.

Dearest Hoo,

I wish you a speedy recovery. This site has provided me with wonderful new friends and so much fun. I have learned a great deal as well on many topics. I have you to thank for that for providing this wonderful Internet haven. I send you my love, thoughts and prayers.

And, when you are up and going again, try this wonderful recipe for a delicious salad. I am sorry I couldn't find the recipe printed on a plain, dull index card. ;-)

I remember when I was a newbie on this site in November, 2000. Hooboy spent that Thanksgiving in London, constantly moving from hotel to hotel to find a good Internet connection to post reviews. He seemed like a special, extremely dedicated person then. Nothing has happened in the intervening four years to change my mind.

Get well Hooboy. This site is well covered, relax and get well!

Thanks for posting new reviews today. But remember, your first priority should be to yourself. We are all hoping for a quick and complete recovery.

Let me add my best wishes to the mountain that has accumulated here... whether or not it was the intention when you started this message board, it's turned into a real community and we all owe it to you. This is the only message board I check in with regularly, and I've learned so much and been able to share my thoughts, it's been invaluable. Your sharp and irreverent comments always appear at just the right times and places in the threads.

Make sure you do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself, including asking for help from others if necessary. My partner and I have both helped out friends with health issues from time to time, and sometimes they haven't wanted to ask friends for help because they don't want to be a burden or feel ashamed to ask, and sometimes we've been the only ones to know the true extent of what they're dealing with. Well I say screw all that now, this is the time to be selfish and let your friends help you out. There are definitely a lot here, and I'd expect we could rally some resources between us all if there was any way to help.

Hope this doesn't all sound too gushy or sanctamonious, but what can I say. Get well, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help now or in the future.
