HooBoy, our thought are with you. You have 'served' else well, everyday, for years. Take well deserved time off and recoup. Strokes can, and do, pass.

Godspeed for your recovery!

Dear hooboy: I can only repeat the words of bigjoey above. The first website I log onto every day is M4M, and it is the only one I visit virtually every day of the year. You provide an invaluable service to the community, way above and beyond any call of duty, and your good health is of the greatest value to millions of people. Please take care of yourself. I believe I speak for many people in sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery and for good health and happiness in the holiday season and 2005. We love you, hooboy! kaimakan

Hooboy,

As others have said, speedy recovery. Sadly, strokes run in my family so this hits very close to home. Be thankful you had a minor one, and please take this as a warning sign. Over my life, I'm just amazed at the progress physicians have made in treating the effects. The odds are in your favor, and you should anticipate a complete recovery.

One of the keys to full recovery is seeking out a top-notch physical therapist and following the program. No matter how annoying it may be at times, doing the PT is the key to a total and complete recovery.

Hang in there, do what you need to do to heal, and we'll be fine in the mean time. Best wishes, and if you need anything, give a yell.

Hooboy:

I join all the others in wishing you a speedy and total recovery. If there's any way any of us can jump in and help (in addition to behaving ourselves), let us know. Take good care of yourself and don't rush things. Much more important that you heal properly than worrying about uploads here.

Hey Hooboy, no reason to apologize to us, your health comes first. I know we can live without the new reviews till you get better ;)

When in doubt I whip it out :+

Dear Hooboy,

A while ago there was this bitchy controversy about love, and age differences and all... I was speechles, and thought that people had given you enough suppoRT.

Now I am so happy knowing that you have someone that will be with you, holding you, looking at your bed with loving eyes while you are asleep.

You have become a really important part of our lives, and I am sure that many of us were in consternation when we read your silly apollogy about being sick; no review is more important than your health.

Receive a warm hug and my best wishes; I dont know you, but you have proven to be a respectful, loving, inteligent caring man in the everyday management of this site.

My prayers, my love, and a warm affectionate hug to you.

Get well! :-)

I can count myself as one of the lucky ones that got to meet him. He truly is a fun and unique person and very caring of others, despite what is perceived as his hard ass personna. I wish you all the best my friend and we will call on all the powers or prayer and healing for you. HUGS Chuck:P :p :9

Dear HooBoy,

My prayers go out to you today. I am not a gushy person but I want to you to know that if it wasnt for this site (and one other) I would have had a much more difficult time transitioning to "gay life." I am by no means fully comfortable with my sexuality, but Im one the way, and its because of you.

Reading these forums and being led in the right direction by the reviews, has helped me enormously. Even when I had a bad experience, I had a hundred other people saying, "Yeah, me too." Its good not to feel alone.

I promise that this week, I will remember you in all of my devotions and prayers (yup, I still say the Rosary and go to Mass), and know that you have made this world a better place, in a most wonderful and unconventional way !!!

I had a minor stroke about two years ago. Thankfully, there were no serious complications and quickly got over it. I hope that all goes well with you. My best wishes for a speedy recovery!

HooBoy--

I too want to join those wishing you a rapid and complete recovery. While I seldom post, and for the past year haven't hired, I still get my daily HooBoy "fix" and read the posts and reviews. I've made virtual acquaintances with many on the site. We all recognize this community came about solely because of your tireless efforts. While we've never met and likely never will meet, I want to thank you for all you've done. Escorting may be the world's oldest profession--but you've turned us Johns into a community of virtual friends and thereby enriched all of our lives. God bless you and grant you a complete recovery!
