I actually like to hear the escort's perspective. No offense intended for the following statement, but it is a tough profession especially as one ages and there is someone younger and prettier nipping at your heals. In addition, the current economic climate may not lend itself to the surfeit of high rollers that can afford their asking rates. I suppose escorts can ask what the market will bear, but eventually prices should regress towards the mean of what most clients can/will pay. It is also interesting for me to observe how escort rates vary from city to city. From as low as 50 euros in barcelona/berlin to 300 and way upwards in nyc. I spend about 2500 monthly (excluding dinner dates) on this hobby and like the variety available in new york but as the prices creep up beyond 300, i don't think i can justify anything higher.

 

There is a difference between hearing an escort's perspective and listening to an escort (or any other professional) bitch about how bad their business is, how crappily their competitors run their businesses, and/or how shitty their prospective clients are.

The joke's going to be on you eventually if it's not already.

 

Technology aside, you might want to review Sales 101/102. Know Your Customer and Watch Trends as they relate to potential/current clients, requests, actual business, etc... You sound uninformed with all the broad generalizations.
