Women generally don't pay for it because they don't have to. There are a lot of straight guys, even good-looking ones, who really will stick it just about anywhere, especially after a drink or two. I'm sure these guys end up working for men unless this is completely a side gig for them.

I think women at a certain socio-economic level hire more than we are aware of. ? From what I understand from colleagues, women, like men enjoy Strip-shows, and our female counterparts can drop big buck on those boys shakin their "tallywhackers" in their faces. I've also heard those male for female strip shows are Raunchier than the male-male shows.... the guys OFTEN have onsite sex with the patrons...

I am not inclined to believe this since nearly every last stripper at a gay strip show is a straight dude who gave up stripping for women because they don't tip. I'm sure there's more sex going on at the male for female strip shows simply because the orientations align, but I'd be willing to bet those guys aren't making as much as they would just giving lap dances to dudes.

I know a few of the guys at Adonis also do male revues for women, next time I go I'll ask which is their real moneymaker.

Isn't that what a lot of the Sean Cody models do?

If they use one of the discreet agents in LA, then yes. I honestly don't know this market as I'm not interested in spending that much on someone's time. I have kids to put through college. I'm not a billionaire. Haha

I'm curious: do you suppose that guys looking to get hired by women might advertise as being "gay" or "gay-acting" on the off-chance that straight women share the gay male fantasy of turning someone over to the other side (which ever that might be)? Perhaps those guys who adverise as Bi are already ahead of the game in this supposedly burgeoning new market.

I'm sure some do, but I'd guess most don't since that's a pretty masculine point of view: that someone is so compelling that they overcome someone's stated sexual orientation. I'd wager most women respect stated orientation.

The cowboy bios themselves are very different from those aimed at male customers: "Developed an app that's the leader in its category," "Valedictorian!" "Division 1 water polo!" "Quickly rose to the rank of sergeant in the Marines!"

@bigvalboy , you'd better not even think about these cowboys, who are for women ONLY. "Specializing as a fitness and underwear model, he moved to Miami for 4-5 years to work the South Florida circuit."

I'm sure men are the big money maker, that's why there are so many "gay per pay" guys.

but let me say it clearly, any big city/college is a paradise for a straight guy because of all of us are out of the closet.

Another goodie:

Being told of our first meeting, during the second meeting:

"I came down the elevator to meet you in the Lobby. I saw this cute daddy, who was nothing like the

old, decrepit fellow you'd described. I realized I'd hit the jackpot!"

It also explains why, on the first meeting, rather than engage in some get-to-know-you chit-chat, I was pushed to the bed, and didn't say anything for the next 2 1/2 hours.

What is the connection? I don't see it.

He's saying more men out of the closet = fewer men available for women to date. But that's not enough to be causing what he's talking about on colleges - it's the fact that the typical college campus is close to 60% female these days. And also that women aren't (quite as much as in years past) slut-shamed for having premarital sex.

Offer and demand

Gay guys were always unavailable.

Perhaps my situation is unique or unusual and I've been underselling myself, but I don't feel particularly desperate and despite some annoying chaff-sorting of people who refuse to read or ignore stated preferences, I'm about to temporarily deactivate my online dating account to concentrate on the people I've already heard from. Some of those guys I've chatted with on the site certainly seem not to have found what they're looking for even when it comes to sex.

But hey, both our anecdotes could be correct.

Back in the day many if not most closeted gay guys would at least attempt to date women. Myself I couldn't do that, seemed dishonest. But I am a Kinsey 6. I'm pretty sure if I were even a 5 I would have tried to make a go of it with a woman, as I was scared shitless of AIDS. I'm also pretty introverted. I kind of thought the ideal life for me would have been an open marriage with a similarly closeted lesbian(or even a straight girl who didn't really care for sex), have a couple of kids and discreet side affairs.

And remember Kinsley. A lot of the guys in the middle of the two extremes are now more willing to explore their homo side and therefore investing less time on their hetero side.

Oh I'm so petty but...

One of my (known) peeves is when, while showering/cleaning up after our time together in my hotel room, the gent uses my toiletries (hair stuff, face spray, etc) without checking first. Of course I would say yes if asked, but there's something about the not checking first that annoys me. And, bitchy me, not only do I remember which two gents helped to reveal/confirm this pet peeve but also those who checked first...

Reminds me of the time an escort cracked open the door as I was showering afterwards; only his hand is visible.

"Can I just reach in a grab this towel right here?"

"Sure, yeah," I shout, then pause. "Uuuuh, you HAVE seen me naked...."

He laughed.

TURN ON: In strip club, dancer I found just kind-of attractive when he performed earlier comes out to the hallway while I wait for next show.

He chats me up JUST LIKE I'M A REGULAR HUMAN BEING. Talks about traveling to do the appearance, asks pleasant, not-intrusive questions about me, JUST LIKE I'M A REGULAR HUMAN BEING. Treats me JUST LIKE I'M A REGULAR HUMAN BEING, for a reasonable amount of time.

He then made his pitch for a private show, and probably sooner than he wanted because I noticed he said it very quickly as another dancer slithered over. I could not, but I'd have done that or more if it was available since he worked on my brain, by making me feel JUST LIKE I'M A REGULAR HUMAN BEING and not a cash register.

In the strip club:

  1. Very hot, young looking guy, jumps on me to give me a lap dance. I tell him, boy you are hot, but you look like one of my students and I do not feel comfortable. He responds, ssshhhh professor, I really need that A.

Did you let him show you his academic abilities? Or did you kick him out of the class? :)
