Would you like a permanent thread warning about law enforcement unconstitutional attacks on privacy?

(sting operations)

This thread was inspired by klifhangar

Broad question, I know, but I'm wondering if any client here has been arrested or questioned or caught by a sting. There was a Backpage sting set up not far from where I live where many clients were lured into hiring female escorts who were actually cops. A very prominent local figure was caught in it.

All the talk about RB's impact on RM has begun to make me slightly uneasy about discussing personal activities on here so I'm just wondering what the chances are of it leading to problems. I also wonder if I'm too cavalier about it. I use my personal cell, email with my name on it etc. I also have only met guys who were known and discussed here.

Also, have any escorts on here run into legal issues? been arrested etc?

I'm not super worried or paranoid - more a combination of cautious and curious.

The concept has value. Maybe something specifically "structured" like is used in the Escort Travels" section so postings would "automatically roll down" as time passes.

However, this would be a decision the site owner would need to make after consultation with legal advice.

I shouldn't be feeling the troll but if it makes you happy...

You certainly are... please look at your posts, sometimes it seems as if you are in-charge here while ignoring what others are posting. First you run a thread as a survey for a new forum. When someone posts a link to a thread whose last post was from an Administrator agreeing -no we're not doing it. Then you come back with "Maybe we should post that thread at the top of the lounge."

This site's term for keeping a thread at the top of a forum is "sticky". You've seen threads posted in the forums with a 'sticky' that make them persist in the top position of the forum's list of threads.

So with your communal WE, you're discussing doing things that the administrator has already said no, and you're including him and me, and everyone else who disagrees with you in your Communal WE. But we aren't with you on your wonderful idea (sarcasm).

But then I'm just a troll who respects the administrator/owner's opinion.

And keep your hands off me!;):p

#walking on eggshells all over again.

I was just suggesting based on the OP of a similar thread inspired by something the OP wrote, a new thread... guilty as charge.

May I suggest you get a hobby, I have plenty because I'm retired and baby-sitting by request of my niece.

"Insane posts"

Who is insane and dramatic now?

We haven't had a feud on here since I posted about the police in Florida stopping black folks riding bikes and asking them for proof of property (bike not stolen) and you said they were asking for security and complaining because of law enforcement...

Are you Trump supporter?

Memories, I'm glad I found it... btw I always quote and search before posting.

Um, I WROTE "INANE POSTS"

All the rest of the insanity is of your own creation and demonstration of my point about you not reading others posts.

Maybe you should spend more time baby-sitting than coming up with your managerial and survey threads which I personally don't appreciate, not to mention your copying GIFS of The Simpsons to illustrate it - your insanity. TROLL!

Now...that seems like proof of troll to me? Irrelevant to the thread in any way, shape, form.

There's a forum for that.

Keep searching BP looking for diamonds in the rough.

Why do you hate so much? I hope I'm useful to you.

You can just click on "ignore" and you won't read any of my posts.

Go and hang out with the other young guys who live in Mel Rose Place with you.

Damn, I'm still feeding the trolls.

I don't have a stake in how this is dealt with, but I'd like to point out that Marylander's idea is to create a sticky post, not a new forum or subforum, and that the idea discussed in the earlier thread was for Daddy to link to it in the site FAQ, which would be an endorsement/adoption of the content.

It's not exactly the same thing as what was proposed here, which makes the consequent sniping even more ridiculous and unnecessary than it already is.

That said, creating a sticky post is management's prerogative. Under the circumstances, it might not be prudent to ask management to entertain such a request, and if asked, management may feel even that amount of involvement is too much.

point taken! The RB effect.

We should simply warn each other and keep it "sticky" up there just by posting.

You're right on as usual.
