Prefer Gay or Straight Escorts?

A lot of escorts advertise as "straight", I presume because some gay men enjoy the fantasy that they're having sex with a straight guy. Personally, it does the opposite for me since I'd rather enjoy the fantasy that there is actually some mutual attraction possible. I skip the "straight" ones precisely because I think they may have a disdainful attitude or may not be able to get it up. But clearly, some clients do want to think their escort is straight.

Needless to say, whether the escort is truly straight or not doesn't matter and you probably won't find out.

Just a quick poll though, how do posters here think "straight" is a positive attribute for an escort?

It's not a positive or a negative imho. What matters is if the working guy (be he identifies as gay, bi, or straight) satisfies me as a client.

 

I've met all types doing this hobby and except for a very few, all have been fun to some degree. That includes those who identify as straight or straightish. Hell one guy I see at least once a year is getting married to a woman next year. He has a kid. His wife knows he comes to see me. He favors women, Asian women to be exact, but he loves the "D" deep in his ass. He's a great kisser and is very responsive. We always have a good time.

 

I know people get turned off by labels. However, if there is evidence that a "straight' guy is good or great at escorting for gay men or whomever, why not give it a whirl. That is if you find that "straight" escort attractive.

 

Ultimately, you have to do what makes you comfortable. So if the word straight turns you off, then stick to what you are ok with. :)

An ad advertising straight wouldn't be a turnoff for me, but I like to have a quick phone call before booking an appointment to assess compatibility and discuss expectations. If that call goes well, then I'm good to go.

For me it is all about the fantasy that I am creating for myself with the appointment. If there is something in an ad that can negatively or even possibly destroy that fantasy then I'll pass and move on. The fantasy is almost always hurt when I see the guy has straight listed and I just can't seem to put that out of my mind. So unless the fantasy I create involves something like turning a straight stud, I've just moved on to someone else.

I prefer gay escorts. Straight escorts (real or not) are very likely to hate their job, become homophobic if they aren't already, feel entitled to more, and they're ungrateful as hell. Since this is a hobby and hobbies should be fun, I just want someone who looks like his pix and leaves me with the impression that a good time was had by all parties involved - don't care where they sit as far as sexual orientation or gender expression.

I prefer a gay guy. To many straight guys do not deliver. I am into more than muscle worship. At least a gay guy knows what I am into as is more likely to accommodate my needs. I have only hired one straight guy that was fully involved. I questioned him if he was really straight and I did not get a direct answer.

It ultimately depends on what I'm in the mood for. But I will say this, of the three best guys I've ever hired, one is straight (Vin Marco), one is primarily gay (PRMiguel), and one identifies as bisexual although he marrying a man (Andrew Justice, and I do truly believe he is bisexual). So I don't worry too much about the labels as I do their interest in making sure the client is satisfied.

 

I will say this though: as a fairly unattractive and overweight man, I am inclined to believe that as long as the escort cares about the client as a customer, a straight man is more likely to leave me satisfied since his orientation isn't based on attraction to me anyway. I've had some real disasters with gay escorts and I know it's because they don't find me attractive.

Good point. It's another reason I like to hire straight - I know they don't care what I look like because they aren't attracted to any men. With other gay guys I just feel ugly and self-conscious.

When I hire a guy I'm not looking for any semblance of romance or "love-making" so I don't care about kissing and since I'm not into anal penetration at all I don't care about topping or bottoming or any other imitation of hetero sex. The very idea of a boyfriend experience leaves me cold, so if a guy is straight and doesn't go in for that it's perfectly fine with me. When I'm cruising the ads appearance is my first and foremost concern so it doesn't matter to me what the guy lists his orientation as, nor his sexual position. All identities are made up, including the one I made for myself, so I don't take any of them seriously. I prefer guys who don't think of their asshole as a pussy so I have a better chance of finding that with a guy who lists himself as straight, or at least a top if he's gay.

Your response makes me curious as to what your opinion is on escorts who label themselves as bi. Care to share?
