I finally made the permanent switch to rent.men Beta new site, it looks like all the buds have been fixed The new site is up and running smoothly now. It looks good so far, I have found no issues yet. I have been using it for the past 3 days. I actually like it better than the old site.

I tried the new site on my tablet and it was weird the pictures ended up being smaller because the profile itself was now directly across from the pics and not below. There was not an arrow that could be used to enlarge the pics as there was on the prior site.

At least one remaining bug is that I still can't add to my Favorites list on the new version, although I can still see all those added to the list via the old site.

If you mean the Buddy List, the option is on a gray horizontal stripe somewhere below the pictures. The type on the gray backgrounds is very hard to see. Each time I want to buddylist someone, I have to look hard for it all over again, but it is there.

I'm still using the old site because one of my favorite features was being able to filter for visiting escorts. In a large market like LA where there are over 300 listings, this is a valuable tool. On the new site You can filter for new ads, but not for visitors. Hopefully they will fix this. Until then, I'll stick with the old one.

Noticed today that the Rent.men site in its cell phone application has terrific image quality (or maybe it's my phone.) The smartphone app version is actually superior to the PC version in many ways. Very well done. Seems to have all the features of the desktop version and then some. Very user friendly too--easy to navigate. Good job.

I am looking at the new site and see a filter for visitors. Here's a screen shot:

I am also having trouble finding the add to buddy list button. Right below the pictures, the options I see are, gold member, RM of the day and sponsor

The button has been moved to a toolbar below the review text.

Sorry, I meant the profile text, a/k/a "About Me."

 

Starting from the top of the page the following are displayed:

 

  1. Menu bar #1: Stack menu icon; Search; Near me...
  2. Tabbed menu: Public photos, private photos...
  3. Pictures
  4. Menu bar #2: Gold member...
  5. "About Me"
  6. Menu bar #3: Share Profile; Buddylist Me (if not already buddylisted)/Profile - Buddylisted (if buddylisted)...
  7. My Interview (If the escort has an interview)
  8. Escort Reviews

It is there, but the black type against a gray background makes it hard to see. It is located in the center of the bar directly below the escort's profile "About Me."

Just a quick note: when you position your cursor on a menu option it changes color from black to white. I agree either the text or background color should be changed.

I think that's true only for the full website. I usually access the site on my tablet or phone, and the Buddy List button doesn't appear any longer in the mobile platform, which is the default setting when accessing via those types of devices. I'll stick to the old rentmen.com site until they fix this little hiccup.
