Outcalls to hotels

Does the quality of hotel matter when you're doing an outcall? I wonder if it would be off-putting if I'm staying at the Days Inn versus the Waldorf Astoria.

(I ask because I'm planning a trip. I don't want to stay downtown and there aren't any 5-star hotels in my neighborhood of choice - just 3-stars at best)

This may be a bit off-topic but I think it might pertain to both clients and escorts when making hotel selections especially in larger metropolitan areas. I have had to pay upwards to $25.00 for hotel parking when visiting an escort at his hotel. This has happened twice now and while it's not a prohibitive sum it is a burr under my saddle since I've just dropped $300 for an hour long visit. Hope everyone is having a good day.

I think not. However, i do like at least a 3 star hotel. :)

There is a working guy I meet once and awhile. He told me his fantasy is to drive along to some out of the way town and find the seediest motel to have sex in. Then go find another... and so on. The dude is hot so who am I to argue, especially if this Bates motel fantasy of his involves me. :p

The seedy motel thing would be kind of hot, especially with a very squeaky bed.

I was thinking that the quality of hotel wouldn't be an issue, but I wanted to make sure. I have seen some RM profiles that state, "prefer upscale, mature gentlemen" or something to that affect.

I'm not comfortable myself staying in a fleapit and I wouldn't impose such a place on an escort I was hiring. That doesn't mean I would book a room in the Ritz to ensure that an escort was happy. There's all sorts of nice accommodation between the two extremes. Parking is an issue but not a big deal, I had an outcall in my hotel, the escort drove there, I paid for his parking. No . big . deal!

That could be problematic if carrying only enough for the appointment. "Sorry, I have to cancel on you because I didn't bring enough cash for both you and the parking garage." How embarrassed would I be? Very.

Better to take along extra funds - if not needed for parking or any other unexpected reason, then it would make a nice tip.

In a case like this, most big-city hotels with no parking lots have a setup with a garage. Contact the hotel and inquire of the garage fee - have it on-hand.

Yes, I'm aware you can do that. And when I got there the valet staff inquired what guest I was there to see. Of course, I knew the escort was using a fictitious name and it would be futile to give the valet that name but what choice did I have. The valet politely informed me there was no such guest staying there and suggested I might be at the wrong Marriott hotel. The guy I was seeing asked me to text him from the lobby and he would then meet me in the lobby because of secured access elevators. It's never as easy as you might think at some of these upper end hotels.

a very well-respected, but thrifty, escort has hosted me at least twice in what some might call marginal lodging....one time, he called me ahead of time to be careful driving to his place.....another time, it was across the street from the state mental hospital in a location notorious to locals (admittedly, it was a busy time of year and lodging was at an extreme premium)......

as usual, we joked about it and I didn't care at all....

I'm starting to recognize the value of spending a little more on a hotel. In the past I've always been pretty thrifty, and while I don't want to spend a fortune, I want a good location and I don't want to ever have to apologize for an ugly room.

Two months ago I was staying at an Extended Stay America, and over the course of 2 days, I had 5 random knocks on my door, 3 times it happened while I was with a client. I answered the door 2 of the times and the man apologized and said he had the wrong room. At first I was afraid it was a cop, responding to a report of seeing multiple guys coming to my room, but that apparently wasn't the case. Either way, I checked out the next day and into a nicer hotel.

Show your hires some respect! Last time I was in NYC I got a grand duplex suite at The City Club Hotel on West 44th.

Discreet. Intimate. Perfect location in Midtown and not all that pricey for NYC for the accommodation.

Not an escort experience, but I once stayed at a Days Inn. The walls between the rooms were made of cardboard... Well I exaggerate.... actually thin plywood! I kid you not! The bed was right up against the wall. Little did I realize that the bed in the next room was against the wall as well as in the middle of the night I get awakened by the guy in the adjacent room whispering sweet nothings into his honey's ears. Of course that was the preamble to the proceedings! I did not think that the wall was going to survive the assault that followed! Fortunately it was a quickie! However, I almost did dial 911 when his honey kept yelling, "You're killing me! You're killing me!"

Needless to say that was my first and last stay at a Days Inn! In any event, I have not had any trouble hooking up at any hotel be it mine or the escorts. I usually stay at a Sheraton and as such am assured a decent room. Every time I have visited an escort's hotel the accommodations have been more than satisfactory. Getting an end room always helps. Once a neighbor knocked on the wall and we cooled things a bit. While we were not very vociferous I think the sound of a flogger somehow seemed strange.

Incidentally I recently discussed hotel accommodations with an escort who regretted that the only hotels in section of a certain town that he often visits were not of the highest quality. However, since he needed to accommodate clients who would be coming from work that was the best location. As such the clients appreciated the convenience and gladly were able to live with the less than five star accommodations.

Regarding bed bugs, a few years ago even some of the more prestigious hotels in NYC were not immune to being infested!

As a client, I do care where I am going. I am sick of going into fleabags and will not do it again.

The environment is important to the meeting.

When I host I make sure there is a fresh towel, used towels are in the closet bathroom counter is cleared, bed made and have even started to bring my own room air sanitizer, not perfumery or flowery.

I don't want to have to walk into a room that looks like WWIII took place.

I recently in LA and made the huge mistake of going to visit two gentlemen in East Hollywood, one a hotel (a certified dump!) and worse a personal residence, the phrase "NEVER AGAIN" reverberated through my mind. The hotel was some run down apt building converted to a Motel 6 and only parking I could find was 30 bucks. Not to mention toss a dog into the mix who never stay off the bed.

At both places I could not relax and enjoy the moment, so I decided right there I would never go into a situation like that again and in future I will simply give the guy some money and leave.

My first encounter of a series was at the Ritz. Not worth the money, although the staff did a very good job of looking away while they were looking.

I love a couple of the anecdotes people have cited here of meetings in the better hotels. Two in particular, the concierge enquiring as to how a guest's 'business meeting' had gone and when told that it had not gone well suggesting that he could arrange a more satisfactory companion, and the hotel staff showing up unrequested at the room with extra towels (and perhaps other items, I don't remember all the details).

You can get some good deals in NYC at 3-4 star hotels. Looking for last minute deals is one way. roomkey.com as well. AAA membership also helps a lot.

I too like 2star motels as long as they are well run. I always check tripadvisor. Some owners take pride in their places while others have clearly given up.

I must add that my escorts and I were underwhelmed with the rooms at Helios in Palm Springs over Daddy's weekend in that fair city. Broken and missing floor tiles, no maid service for three days, broken closet door, ceiling fan that could not be turned off (brrrrr), mismatched, shabby furniture, sheets too small for the bed, broken window blinds. It was reasonably clean, and I got fresh towels from the office. The grounds are beautiful, but the place needs repairs!!! I admit I stayed there because of its risque reputation, but never again. Next year, I'll invite my escorts to some place nicer, and buy us day passes to Helios if we want a walk on the gritty side.
