An appreciation of Dickon Tarly, or rather, the actor who plays him...Tom Hopper

He does not seem to be one to survive Westeros for long

On horseback in Sunday's episode with those eyes, that square-ish jaw...swoon

I was afraid he was going to get killed immediately after saving Jamie. My immediate thought was a Dothraki was going to swoop by and cut off his head.

The battle scene was very difficult to watch. I was so conflicted. I have grown to love Jaime and Bronn. The cliffhanger at the end of the battle scene was classic.

I had a crush on Ser Jorah, then Robb and now Ser Davos. Dickon is definitely on my radar but I doubt he will get a lot of screen time.

I forgot to mention Beric Dondarrion. So perfect.

Seems Sansa was a bit jealous of the fighting prowess of Brienne and Arya and the green eyed monster may cause a rift between the sisters. They were never really close when they were younger. While the separation may have made them pine for a reunion, the reality of that reunion may be more Bloody Mary and Virgin Queen. Red Hair for Sansa, Virginity intake for Arya, need I say more? Jon's reunion with Arya may further fuel those jealousy embers.

I have a feeling that Sansa looked at her siblings and realized, "shit, I'm the sane one!"

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I thought she looked impressed more than jealous. I would be very surprised if the Starks turned on one another, but anything could happen. That's one of the reasons the show is so appealing.

Don't forget you have Littlefinger there stirring the pot and though Sansa has a good idea of what he is all about after his turning her over the Ramsey, Arya may not be as in tune with his evil side.

The next episode is but 50 hours away and I feel a rush of blood to my groin similar to the rush I have when making final plans for a meeting with a hot new escort.

GoT reminds me of the True Blood series for the following reason: If one waits long enough, one's favorite character invariably will be "gettn' neeked" at some point. And then in the next scene there will be blood. Luv ya' Jamie, you damn fine man.

Meanwhile, I think it was Tarly who did the rescuing at the end of the episode.

Why did Dickon Tarly save Jaime? Any speculation? A burning desire for his love? Born hero? Some political strategy? I don't know, but wonder about it.

My first thought was that it was Bronn, but I guess Dickon may be a better guess. I'm going to have to see if I can slow it down and get a better look. I think Bronn was pretty far away.

The real question is will Jamie surface? Dickon was wearing armor so he would also be weighted down. It's hard to believe that Jamie would be taken out so quickly and with so little fanfare, but this is GoT.

Well I knew Dickon Tarly was hot, but on tonight's episode he was hotter than hot.

I do wish it had been him that had save Jaimie and then Jaimie thanked him by offering him a ride on his golden hand. Ah well. All in all a pretty satisfying episode tonight.

Quite the Motley Crew going north from the wall. Kind of reminds me of the crew you see in the 3 Train at 4 AM on an early Sunday morning in NYC. 2 Bastards, 1 who was left for dead and 2 who were raised from the dead, 2 who had been horribly deformed, 3 would be kings, 4 that I imagine as power bottoms and most outrageous of all,, a ginger.

....and so I was about as wrong as I could be. :D

Spoiler Alert!

The revelation that Jon Snow is a legitimate Targaryen was deftly managed.

Dropping that annulment line in the exchange between Sam and Gilly was interesting and key to the entire episode and the series.

Sam was so distracted he didn't catch the reference that the High Septon annulled Prince Rhaegar's marriage and immediately married him to someone else in a secret ceremony in Dorne. Obviously this refers to Lyanna Stark.

Jon Snow has the strongest claim to the throne than anyone. Even more so than his aunt Daenerys. Also, note how Drogon became more submissive to Jon and allowed him to touch it's snout. Jon will have likely even more power over the dragons than Danny. That is assuming he survives the quest to capture a white walker.

I caught it! Even scanned back and replayed to make sure I heard it right. And John's interaction with Drogon gave me goose bumps.

I know that they are related but I still want Jon and Daenerys to get together. There is definitely chemistry there, but we'll see what happens when it comes out that they are related.

Chemistry with Jorah Mormont and Daenerys as well?
