Everybody mingles so much that you can't tell who's attached and who isn't. I was worried about being solo, too, my first visit. All are usually eager to meet and introduce themselves. Very casual and friendly weekend.

I'm actually not going to be able to go, which is a real bummer. I had agreed to let someone use my house for an event and was ok leaving but didn't know that I was expected to be here. Maybe next year.

 

I have never been to Palm Springs before and now have the bug to go so will try to get down there in the next couple of months. I'm sure there will be someone I can hang out with, huh? You guys have a great time.

Some clients have escorts accompanying them for the weekend. Then, there are plenty of men, of which I am one, who will be unescorted. I know a few of the attendees from other functions but I look forward to meeting some new fellows.

Many of us, especially we of a certain age, were wallflowers in our youth. Fears of being found out in high school led to us standing alone in the corner at the high school dances and other parties. We were young and inexperienced and afraid of what life might have in store for us.

Well, at some point, you need to grab yourself some courage, grab yourself by the balls and then grab the guy next to you by the balls and just do it.
