I'm still thinking about going. It'll only be a few weeks after my chest surgery, so I'll finally be able to walk around topless without getting arrested! But...I may not be healed enough for swimming and other physical activities at that time.

FTM_twink very little swimming takes place, except some sperm swimming, or so I have heard. It is first and foremost a social meet and greet. It is a secondary meet the meat. It is a tertiary eat the meat graciously supplied by our hosts. Ultimately it is put a face to that crazy poster and find out that all of us are more than we pretend to be here.

I hope everyone who is on the fence will decide to pull a Nike and just do it! It doesn't matter your age, weight or looks, just bring an open and welcoming attitude and you will have SO much fun! Everyone is so incredibly sweet and friendly and you can be as mild or wild as you feel comfortable, although you might surprise yourself After it's over, if you don't go, there's a good chance you will regret it but if you do go, there's no way you will!

This year, I will not be at the event "with" one particular person for the whole weekend. I have some appointments around it, but am currently available for the dinner, pool party, and the friday afternoon/evening before it (april 29th). oh my gosh. I'm exhausted. reading through twelve pages of that. all I can say is, thank you Steven, for giving me the heads up.

 

I'm going to be very open right now, and express myself to the forum. but I'm going to do it in another thread. I don't want to hijack this one, which is really about the camaraderie, shared love of sex, and socializing that is the Annual Palm Springs Weekend. I am so excited to be with all of you attending, a few weeks from now.

Jack3, I can assure you there are many people going by themselves (myself included). Anyway, many people going to the dinner or pool party with someone else, choose to socialize separately from that person at times. Just like couples at other parties.

 

I'd encourage you to not think too much about this aspect, and just come. Every year I hear from people who want to come but are too nervous to do so, and afterwards wish they had. Come on, man... Don't be that guy.

 

To all newbies: please find me at some point, and introduce yourself. I'll take it from there - and we'll have fun - socially, I mean. (I've been told I'm a good social, uh, lubricant).

'Good social lubricant'. I'm sure that is so. As to the broader point, I've read of people's plans and accounts of previous meetings, and going solo is in no way unusual. This, like the DC lunch, is a social event, with perhaps other assignations off to the side, but that sort of thing is not mandatory.

I have it on good account that at this very moment Oliver and Epigonos, two very single men, are spending quality time in Los Angeles together, including nocturnal visits to stripper bars, where they no doubt have been conducting themselves shamelessly. They set the tone for this party, which is a pool party, so that should tell you something. The only caution I would give you is you might want to be careful when you shake Oliver's hand, and eat Epigonos' delicious culinary treats. You never quite know where certain things have been.

 

And besides, I'll be there, I don't have a partner, and I'm awfully shy. It would be great if somebody else solo would keep me company.
