My dream is to go to med school and become a cardiac surgeon one day, but as an immigrant, it is really hard to get into a university, specially when you don’t have a family supporting you. To be honest, it’s the other way around. My dad lost his job after working 27 years in the same company. It’s a long story, involving kidnapping of my whole family but me (since I was already living in the US), but nothing major happened except him losing his job. He managed to retire, but he makes way less than he used to when he was working, so I help them too. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for someone to pay for my things and for my family at all. The only support I would ask from someone on this website is that they help me pursue my career. I don’t care for cars, expensive clothes, new iPhones and stuff like that. If I actually manage to do all this, go to med school and become a surgeon, I would be more than glad to one day even pay the person that helped me back. . He sounds like someone I’d want to meet. . I have had very much the same experiences with SA. It takes work. I find that there are a lot of 18-20 year olds that have no idea what they are doing or why they are on SA. I stay away from that age group. After you get away from the scammers and fakes.... the biggest problems are the flakes...guys who engage very nicely at first but then just drop out of communication..those can be frustrating if you feel you have connected...but I just move on. I agree about the no allowances and I never send any money in advance. Also the best way to book flights is with miles. That way if you need to cancel you get your miles back for a small fee. Some airlines don’t even charge you for putting the miles back. If you charge a airfare to your CC you will most likely will loose the fare or pay a large cancellation fee...unless of course you are flying them unrestricted coach, business or first class. There are definately some great guys on SA. I hear that they get very weird requests or not very well done requests from Sugar Daddies. In the past, I found that you can have a very good time with young men, even in the 18-20 age range, if you are very clear. I always set out exactly what I had in mind and suggested a first date where we’d meet for drinks, talk and get to know each other.
