Hello!

I'm fairly new here, so I thought I'd make my first post. I hope this hasn't been done before though.

If you're an escort or a client, what is your best piece of advice for another escort or a client?

Thanks!

Jet

Treat the other person as you'd like to be treated.

Totally agree. I just can't see being involved in all this without mutual respect. I'm also reminded of Reba McEntire's song Fancy's lyrics (something like): Just be nice to the gentleman, and they'll be nice to you.

Bobby Gentry's song Fancy Reba McEntire's version came about 20 years later. Bobby was probably best known for her Ode to Billy Joe and what may have been thrown off the Tallahachie Bridge.

Client to client: Expect respect Client to escort: If your are professional, act professionally.

Agree with everything, plus:

To the clients, be careful, do your research, it is full of fakes out there, know what you want and communicate it.

To the escorts, be careful, it is full of crazies out there, be nice to potential clients, if you are in the business of selling a service you should enjoy the "selling" part, besides enjoying providing the service.

Welcome to the board!

Advise to escorts, clients and laymen alike:

Know yourself, understand your abilities and your limitations. Set your boundaries clearly and honestly. Listen to yourself... and then listen to the other.

Treat the other person as you'd like to be treated.

The only problem with this maxim is that most people want to be treated in a co-dependent, abusive way. That is what they have learn to see as normal and desirable. Also, there's a lot of people who want the drama, the jealousy and the game playing that comes with what has come to be seen as a "passionate relationship" in this culture.

Lastly, JetBlack.... it struck me since the first time I saw your profile. When I read your name I thought I would see a black guy, but you are not... how did you chose that name? I ask you thinking that maybe it might be sending conflictive signals and making the cohesiveness of your product suffer a bit.

Does anyone else wonder the same?

Either way, your profile looks great. So glad you are joining us, I wish you a ton of success!

I never knew Bobby Gentry's version. I googled it, and liked it. Thanks

To a Client: 1. Dont Overthink things....Just Have Fun

2. Every Escort is Different. A Bad Experience with one shouldnt affect Your mood towards Others.

3. Just because You're paying him...he Isnt Your Bitch(Unless hes Into that kind of thing). In other words Respect Boundaries.

To an Escort: 1. Maintain Professionalism

2.It is YOUR Job to Break the Ice/Set the mood. Be "Present"

3. Invest and Save. Dont be one of those many Statistics where Escorts "Retire" without a Dollar to their name after many Years of Work and nothing to show for it.

4. Keep it Classy.

Just treat people like you would want to be treated. Everybody is a human being on both sides of the equation. Human beings are not perfect by definition of being human (even if some of the guys look perfect)

I also say that client to client: we are all human beings working with other human beings, not commodities or livestock.

Thanks for the welcome, and so far things have been pretty successful. I've met a bunch of really great clients.

My favourite song for a long time Jet Black New Year by the band Thursday. I have always used a screen name that's similar. When I fill out online forms (you know, places or stores where you give a little bit of fake info so they don't harass you) I always use Jet Black as the name, so it was just natural to keep it going.

I thought about that issue, but usually wh n you see my name you also see photos beside it. I haven't had business suffer that I know of :)

When I saw your name for the first time, my mind went here...

So no...I don't think you have a problem with the name.

Hi Jet,

welcome to the boards!

This has been said already but to both clients and escorts and first and foremost: remember that you're dealing with human beings.

Then keep it classy, sexy, have fun and don't forget to RESPECT each other's boundaries. And if shit happens, which it does to both escort and clients: Don't take it personally.

1. R E S P E C T......says Aretha. Practiced mutually, this has produced 16 years of amazing sensual fun.

2. Don't ignore your gut. If your intuition tells you something seems off, go with it and spare yourself heartache. I'm sure I have missed some great guys because something didn't feel quite right. Not everyone excels in communication, but I don't worry about those I missed. I know another great guy is just around the corner as soon as I open the next ad.
